Thanks for the video. Saved me time for removing mine lol I think it’s due to Chevy having a smaller blower compared to dodge hellcat which you hear it very well. Two different manufactures but overall you hear the whine more at higher rpm / speed

That sounds sweet. You can't beat a blower whine the louder the better. I love the HUD pity ford didn't add it to the mustang.....

Not sure if mine has that soundproofing, but I'd like to do that and cut into my air intake/ firewall on my Lightning. I've definitely needed that supercharger to whine louder 🙌
I have a 19zl1 a10, with a 2650, fbo, cam, etc.
My buddy has a 2019 zl1 1le with a kong ported x, blower, f.b.o, cam, etc.
I make more upper torque, better cooling and make more power at a lower boost level. My blower doesn't have to spin as hard to make power. He makes more lower torque which is great for drag racing, he has to spin the lower harder to make power, doesn't cool near as good. He added heat exchanger and a extra coolant tank just for the blower, works great. The 2650 has more room to get closer to the 1,000 rwhp mark depending on your needs. When you get over that 800hp mark, both cars need more fuel from meth, or hi-side and injections. The ported x port with f.b.o, cam and low side fuel, .eth can easily get you to 850 to the tire.
I would definitely not shy away from a stock ported after seeing what his car has done. But, nothing makes the stock blower louder. Nothing at all. If so, it's so small you just can't tell.
I heard a carbon fiber intake makes them a tad bit louder on the whine !!

I love the low whine. Too loud makes it sound raggedy. I like for my ride to sound more powerful the more I push it. If as soon as a crank it up and it's loud or it gets the supercharger wine at 5 MPH it really takes away the classic sound of power.
GM engineers put endless hours into this engine and millions of $$$ in research and you take advice from some RUclips technicians.
I mean hasn’t each company so they can make the horsepower they make and yet we still throw in after market stuff to make it faster lol so I mean your comment is useless when everyone still changes the engine when comes out besides few that keep them stock
Sounds good to me. Can't tell a difference. Glad to see u enjoying a car again. Start looking for a older mustang body to make a race car. You will be able to cover all bases. Ford/Chevy.

Always replace torque shield bolts but yeah you can get a little more sound out of the blower when doing this ….
Unless it’s your camera not picking up the wine sound properly I would say my two SS Camaro makes more of a wind than your car does at least before the 50 mph mark it looks like your winds not picking up until you get around 45 50 miles an hour which is strange because I hear a wine even if I’m driving down the street at 15 mph with my 2021 to SS. Love the content take care.
Your SS isn't supercharged unless it's aftermarket. So...an aftermarket supercharger will sound different than factory. Duh...
Its a very classy, refined muscle car that handles really well plus I like the color.
Honestly I’d go quiet hi flow catback, something from Magnaflow or Corsa.

hi do cams it wake it up big time , and change pulleys before touching blower
I think it is more noticeable when youre around that 5500rpm range.
Coming from a 6 speed ZLE, sometimes i get a little jealous of those 10 speed shifts....sometimes
Both are great but that 10 speed is so smooth and fast.

Tried it. Idk why but it sounded like it reduced the supercharger whine for mine.

Zander13 I have a 2018 Camaro ZL1 6 speed. Full Bolton 's, ported blower, Texas speed cam, NW throttle body, rotofab.
All done from CSP. I live somewhat by Stangmode. Caspers coroner put the Borla on. If you ever around let's run them. I at 715 and you would probably beat me with the 10

That car is so sexy. I love Mustangs the Mustangs the most but I love everything I have a 2001 bullitt Vortech supercharged. I also have a Stillen supercharged 350Z. I just need a catfish Camaro that's Vodoo swapped or Barra swapped. Give it a Ford touch😁 love the content and the car choices
Id chose an Australian Pontiac GTO over the new Camaro cause it simply can be modded way more and has way more cabin space
dont like when people pipe it into the cabin. as much as i like supercharger whine, that takes it to a level that reminds me of adding sound through speakers.
That's not the same thing. Adding sound through speakers is artificial. Piping the sound is the ACTUAL sound, just redirected. Similar to the C8 Z06 exhaust tips that are shaped in a way to reflect some of the sound to the front.

What is that putting down at the wheel now? What tires you running? I have a 16GT with a stage 2 whipple and had to get nitto 555R2 drag radials to have any traction on the street. Kickdowns like that blow off my tires. I'm at about 650 whp. It's a beautiful car, nice change.

Removing the plate is pointless tbh. It's a noble attempt to get more whine out of the 1.9L. If you want more of that then you'll have to get the 2.5in Griptech Pully and Ported Snout from Kong Engineering. But at that point, it may be more beneficial to just go with a bigger blower. Removing your secondary CAT's and placing the Borla X Pipe is a much better modification as it makes more noise and better power.

It’s pointless to get off my ass for 15 mins to remove a plate for free you should obviously add a bunch of expensive mods that void the warranty
Porting the blower, roto fab, Remove plate, nothing makes this thing whine very loud. Nothing. From experience, doesn't happen..
