This was the easiest prep I ever did. Miralax/Ducolax/Gatorade. I also had lower salt Chicken broth on the liquid diet, nice to have something warm with the cold liquids.
Gatorlyte is white (blueberry flavored) helps maintain normal electrolytes.

Bai Long - wasn’t hard for me. At first my brain was going “ wtf are you doing, this isn’t normal!!! “ ....after my colonoscopy, they said I could go back to eating whatever........I had me a chicken Alfredo spinach pizza... was yum!!! 🙂

May I suggest you buy adult disposable pullups, absorbent pads and cloth chux as well as disposable chux to protect you bed, chairs and car seat. Use the restroom just before you're hooked up to the IV.

I wish I found this before I had my moviprep didn't work as well as the pixilax I had last time 😪 I was awake and felt everything if there is a next time I am going to take 3 dulcolax at least I know they will work

Please purchase a package of baby diaper wipes. I bought the unscented ones at Dollar
General and used them to wipe butt after each bowel movement. I had no irritation by using
them. Keeps you clean and avoids soreness. You will be glad you had them. Just besure to
use a plastic bag near the toilet for disposable. Do Not Flush the diaper wipes.

This isn’t bad at all. (The actual drinking) basically just Gatorade but a tad salty. Kinda worried though, it’s been 3 hours since I took the Dulcolax. Just finished my 32oz. Drank it in about an hour.
So light blue sport drink is okay to mix with Miralax?
Never have I heard of drinking milk or milkshakes the day before the procedure. Only clear liquids. Also never started drinking it so late. Started at 3 and always had to drink all but 16oz that you saved for the morning.
I have never heard anything eating ice cream and milkshake for a colon prep!
So this is in place if the prescription crap ???
Can you drink more in a shorter time? I was thinking drinking more solution sooner than every 15 min. I drink Gatorade any way , so how is the taste?
Suprep doe's not work well for me. It takes to long and I am not cleaned enough for the procedure. I want to have something that works, Thanks

Just stick with white, or yellow or green
@@victornewman508 I just had mine today and used blue yesterday since my instructions said it was okay. Dr. rated prep as excellent, so I guess it is okay.
No blue is ok.
The instructions from a hospital where I am say nothing orange, red, or purple. I haven’t had one yet but both my parents have.

Wish I had this type of prep! I was already in the hospital, so I had to drink the NASTY gallon (closer to half gallon, after I poured a lot through the sink, bad I know!) of mess they gave me. I was in So much pain, of course no one cared. Anyway, if I have to have another I'll be using your method!

Im not worry about colonoscopy procedure or the test of the laxative solution.i had it last year the beginning and dr said must go again this year and realy i want to go but told him im not go again until the dr.s discover new methods of clear me because i couldn't managed to run to the toilets and the shower.dr manage half of the entire colonoscopy exam.couldn't control myself.no ways.thank u.
My 1st and only used this bowl prep and it was tasteless and went down fine. I will never get a colonoscopy that does not use this prep

I’m so scared I started a liquid diet five days out and I’ll be on a water and laxative fast two days before.
But I will never ever put my body though this again
Put the prep into the freezer until it becomes slushy , it will go down easier and faster .
How much MiraLax did she pour into the Gatorade?

My instruction says no full liquids at all, and only 2 dulcolax, not 4. My guess is to best stay with your doctors instructions.

I could not find a 2 liter bottle of Gaterade.
Its OK just buy (2) 32 oz bottles.
What do you do if prep makes you throw up can you drink slower
Tips close your nose so not to smell, walk alittle ,drink slower, also drink a anotherdrink right away of different liq. Like ginger ale.

Hi, Can you drink the Gatorade faster.? I love lime Gatorade and can drink 32 ounces in 20-30 minutes. My Dr. gave me Suprep and it did not work at all. I had to cancel. Thanks
Talk to your dr and ask him if you can take 2 dulcolax that is meant to clear you out for opps
@@dianestainer1569 I just did the Cologuard test. It was fast and it uses your dna . All was good. I do it again in 3 yrs. The dulcolax and Miralax did not work.
I tried half of that prep to see if it would do anything. I was experimenting to see what I might use. Orals never worked for me.

Used SUPREP ten years ago for my first Colonoscopy prep. First half of prepping went poorly; I was completely nauseated and threw the all solution up into the sink. Called office, and they recommended drinking plain water until bedtime-then do second half of prep in early morning.
It was tough, but I got through it; was *going clear* upon arrival at medical office.
Warning…. any of the sports drinks will etch your teeth. When I last did prep, my teeth were sensitive for weeks after. My dentist told me not the drink so much of the sports drink.

I just did my prep with the Gatorade, it was a pain in the butt (no pun intended). This will be my 4th colonoscopy, but with a different doctor, my other doctor used the big jug prep. I'd rather do the jug.
You'd rather drink a gallon instead of a half gallon?
4th??? this is a risky procedure. get another opinion from someone with a holistic approach.

Its a bit brutal but has to be done.

Oh! You used blue! You also should use the clear and yellow. Never orange or red or purple

The Norway study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, states that only 42% of people who were invited to get a colonoscopy actually got one. The procedure has been touted as the best way to catch, and even prevent, colorectal cancer.
For those who received one, the study said that there was a 18% lower risk of getting colorectal cancer, but ...[wait for it]......no difference in the risk of dying of cancer.
Conclusion: they cannot cure colon cancer and this procedure does not cure it. There are downsides and risks to the procedure itself. A colonic is far gentler if you want to "clean out". Be informed, people.

This is literally the WORST form of prep. Dulcolax is terrible and 4 of them made me throw up nonstop for a day and a half. I was so dehydrated I was passing out and the pain lasted for days after.
Don't complain about the taste of the other preps. This one might be more convenient, but when it goes wrong it's absolutely miserable.

Oh, I never did update this
It actually caused my large intestines to perforate and I had to have emergency surgery. Woke up with 2 feet of large intestines gone and a colostomy bag.
