Wow, this is such an amazing compilation of aquatic plants! 🌿 Each plant is explained in such detail, and I love how you included timestamps for easy navigation. The plants you featured-like the Cryptocoryne Wendtii and the Bucephalandra Kedagang-are so beautiful, and I’ve learned so much about them. The visual presentation and explanations were super clear. The variety of plants in your list is perfect for any aquascaper looking to diversify their tank. This video is going to be a great resource for anyone setting up a freshwater aquarium. Keep up the awesome work! 👏💚
Awesowe. I'm setting up my aquarium and researching low and medium technology plants, temperature, CO2, ease, writing down the names and putting everything in Excel. And you come with this super complete video, worthy of an award. Congratulations, without a doubt very useful. Thank you.
@@AquariumStoreDepot Are you going to do a substrate raking or are these chemicals put in the aquarium? There are various opinions on the forums and it is not possible to know what is good or bad.
Coincidentally, I have an aquarium, and I intend to look for plants that are both beautiful and functional as aquarium decorations. I already have Salvinia cucullata and Java Fern and am planning to buy more. I love these list and appreciate your clear explanation. Thanks
This plats video is one of the most important information video content. It’s is very needed for fishing aquarium. Personally i like your video and thanks for sharing this video. Very amazing outstanding video.
Great video! I’ve been looking for new plants for my tank, and your recommendations will definitely guide my next purchase. Keep up the awesome content!❤❤❤❤
Please do the nutrient control plants tire list!!! Need more plant ideas to control nitrates than pothos, personally trying bamboo and wondering jaw to lower nitrates with mixed results
How I describe you -😅 You are a amazing guy who make daily a fish content. I am very exciting and waiting for your video. Your video is very interesting. It fresh my mind. Thank you very much.
What a wonderful overview of aquarium plants and their pros and cons! Just a quick note, subwassertang is actually pronounced sysswassertang. The ü is a y and ß is a german double s. It means something akin to freshwater seaweed in german.
Bacopa caroliniana, ludwigia and hornwort and there you have it in few months you will have a jungle in your aquarium. Hornwort is realy good for making a space for the fry to hide. (Especially for my black molly fry)
Java moss:I’m the fastest growing plant Crypts:really? Java Vallisneria:don’t forget me dud Horn wart:(laughing in the corner) Duck weed:The duck are you laughing back there Pearl weed:you guys are IDIO- Subwassertang:(interrupts pearl weed) NO YOU ARE!! Can you grow flouting or being strapped to wood or rocks huh? Egeria Densa:Dam sub you didn’t have to do him like that Amazon frogbit:nah let him cook Water lettuce:is this a good time to do my thing? Water wisteria:Y’know I’m pretty fast gro- Guppy grass: no you’re not Anubius:uh guys should I leave?
I hate how everyone keeps saying the monte carlo is such a great and easy plant and the bloody thing keeps dying in my tank while just about everything else thrives. It drives me crazy. In the end i just bought dwarf hairgrass for my carpet.
I liked the rankings, but the pronunciation was off again on some pretty common plants. This is one example- but “Dwarf Sag” is Dwarf Sagittarius. Your narrator said sag like “sagging,” rather than it should be in the word “Badge.” This indicates the narrator doesn’t know that dwarf sag. is an abbreviation.
hmmm - I've always said Dwarf Sag and I've been in the hobby for over 30 years at this point. It was a pretty long video. I know he was rushing some parts because we were trying to get it under 30 minutes.
No Water Lettuce or Guppy Grass ? Also think Hornwort deserves higher ranking due to its hardiness and extra nutrients consuming attributes ? It's messiness being less of a issue to natural aquariumist than to focused aquascapers ? Give this rating system a B for all the plants it does cover.
I mean this video is nearly half an hour long I have to go over an hour to get everything 😅. There will be one focused on nutrient control plants upcoming
ALRIGHT, I'LL ARGUE!! Java Fern deserves a lower rating. Not because it's such a slow grower/newbie plant but like... it makes new plants from its LEAVES. Unless you're constantly cutting them off they just keep doing it and they look bad doing it lmao

That is awesome!
Nana Petit in A tier resonates so heavily with me. Had no idea how much I was going to love the sense of scale it provides until I added it to my tank

2:27 I have heard Hornwort also has ileopathic properties, that can kill other plants that are near it to reduce competition for nutrition.
this is good video thank you for this sharing
First comment love your vids from the Bahamas🇧🇸
Wow you were fast! Thank you :)
What a wonderful overview of aquarium plants and their pros and cons!

Thank you for the informative video
man this tier list is great but you didn't mention my favorite plant which is hydrocotyle tripartita japan ): but great vid either way.
I could have done more but the tierlist only takes 30 at a time so had to cut otherwise this video would have gone an hour 😅
I believe Anubias, java fern and java moss are really simple plants to keep alive. They are slow growers and don't need a lot of light.
Bacopa caroliniana, ludwigia and hornwort and there you have it in few months you will have a jungle in your aquarium. Hornwort is realy good for making a space for the fry to hide. (Especially for my black molly fry)

😂 love it
Another thing with Duckweed is that it is invasive and has been banned in some areas.
Nice
Thanks
I like the looks but how do you clean the substrate ?
I hate how everyone keeps saying the monte carlo is such a great and easy plant and the bloody thing keeps dying in my tank while just about everything else thrives. It drives me crazy. In the end i just bought dwarf hairgrass for my carpet.
Any thoughts on hygrophila polysperma?
Putting nana petite in A is diabolical
Great list but I'm not feeling you on that java moss homie!

Man you did hornwort so dirty. They are so beautiful
I like how they look its the sheddings 😭
Where is hydrphilla pinatifida
I only included 30 otherwise the video would have been longer 😅. What are your thoughts on that plant?
I just got all the plants I could and kept the ones that didn't die XD
This is stupid. You're putting plants that grow a lot in low tiers and plants that basically do nothing as S tier. I want plants that grow dude.
The ranking is based on looks. If it was growth only it would just be all stem plants
those balls here in the Philippines is kinda pain to my *ss to find.. 😑
nice video, but the german "ß" is a double "s", not a "B"
I loved duckweed for a minute.... never again. Dwarf water lettuce is way better
s. repens = S+
ALRIGHT, I'LL ARGUE!! Java Fern deserves a lower rating. Not because it's such a slow grower/newbie plant but like... it makes new plants from its LEAVES. Unless you're constantly cutting them off they just keep doing it and they look bad doing it lmao
Lets go! Lol. I actually agree with you 😅. I thought you were gonna tell me they were god tier 😆
@@AquariumStoreDepot The day I do, it's because someone else has taken over my body. If java fern has no haters, it's because I"m gone. 💀🤣
AMAZON SWORD IS THE BEST OF ALLLLL TIME WHY THE HELL DID YOU PUT IT IN D TIER
BECAUSE ITS BASED ON LOOKS 😅
@@AquariumStoreDepot nahhh in my opinion Amazon sword is the best cause it’s big, beautiful and I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE😅😅😂
Male nutrient rich plant video
It’s on my list 😊
Hmmmm this list calls for a sub…
