I have been intimidated by making a granny square blanket because of the joining, but your very easy to understand video has given me the courage to go for it! Thank you Crista!

Hello again, this tutorial is helpful as this will be my first 16 granny square blanket I've crocheted from following the Super Easy Granny Square for Beginners. Now, to attempt on how to do a continuous join. Thank you for your video.
It's 400AM I'm joining my second sunflower 🌻 blanket I bought yarn similar to the one you used to join yours. I have one more row to go. I think I will finish it tomorrow. So far it's looking fabulous
The best tutorial for joining (without having to sew😝)! Thanks so much. I recently saw a granny square vest ala 1960’s and wanted to crochet one for my toddler granddaughter but the joining was making me hesitate. Now I can confidently make it. AND also finish that stack of granny squares I made in the 1980’s to make a blanket!
Christa, You have the patience of a saint! 🙏🏻 I really benefitted from your repetition, and am so glad to learn your technique to join the granny squares and to see your blanket close up. It has always been such a mystery to me. You explain everything you are doing so well. I’ll be watching whenever I am joining granny squares! Thank you so much! 🌼🌼🌼
Thank you Christa this was an amazing tutorial. Thank you for explaining the process so very clearly. I love the idea of joining as you go. Absolutely brilliant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love how my sunflower blanket came out. I'm going to send it to a old family friend, that I haven't seen for years. I like it so much I plan to make 2 more. My next one, I want to find a color similar to the one you used.
Dang, I just finished joining a large granny square garment ... I wish I had watched this before lol. I heard you mention this method on your last live that I watched ;) Oh well lol, I'm planning another granny garment and I'll definitely use this ... thanks so much for sharing, great detailed instruction ;) Sunshine
Thank you so much for making this tutorial! I've been making the sunflower granny squares ever since you posted the video for them so as soon as I have enough for a blanket I'll be consulting this video to join them all together 😊 I'm doing my squares solid colors...pink, purple, blue, orange, yellow and green. I think I'll join and border with white...can't wait ❤
When I joined my Sunflower squares, I joined the way you joined ,the 4 Daisy squares. I have joined other ways befor. But I liked your way the best. One way I tryed, you leave the corners open. Then come back later and join them. I got very confused. At one time I had left some corners open on the side. I was crazy, dident know what was the right side to work on. I forged a lot. Thank you for your great teaching
Hi Krista 👋 I'm new to your channel and I've watched all of your ICE yarn unboxing videos LOL I just love watching you and all the awesome yarn you show. 😀 I made my very 1st Ice yarn purchase and thanks to you I absolutely love everything I ordered and now I am going to start your 🔵 🔴 circles blanket. My 8yr old loved it as soon as she saw it so now I am going to try and make it for her. I should probably watch this video after I'm done making all the squares so that I know how to connect them when I'm done. 😆 Did I mention I'm new to crocheting, I've only been doing it for almost a year now and I'm sooo addicted. 😅 Haha! Anywho have a goodnight and thanks for all your videos, I love them and I love your vibe ☺️🩷💛💚
Hello, I would like to add a second and/or third border on my continuous blanket that I just finished. I'm so excited it's completed and took me two months to finish. Where can I find your video on Borders? Thank you!
Thank you so much for this Join as you go method! I have watched several videos of this method and yours is the only one I can understand & clearly see how to do. I do have a simple question for you , I notice that you show two different ways to connect the squares together, The one way you show is to leave the yarn on your hook after you do the three dc’s then you do a slip stitch, then you also show how to to remove your yarn from hook and grab the yarn and pull through the hole. My question is with the grab the yarn method do you do a slip stitch or you just skip the slip stitch? That part is the only thing I am sort of confused on. I am making an afghan out of different granny squares for my niece’s wedding and was going to use your join as you go method to join them together. Going to try both methods to see which one is easier for me. Thanks for the video & help!
I love making granny squares but had no clue how to join them. After seeing your tutorial I'm definitely going to start making granny squares to try this. Is there a specific size the granny squares need to be or can they be any size as long as they are the same?
I have a lot of granny squares made but using double strands of yarn. Would you recommend using 2 strands of yarn to join them? After watching this video, I find myself ready to try joining them together. Thanks for making the video!
Are all of your granny squares joined this way? I saw one of your patterns for a granny square. that it's circular in the center and double crochets it looks like all around . a more solid looking granny square. Not with spacings with three double crochet groupings. Like this granny square. I'm wondering how that circular double crocheted around granny square is joined? Do you have a video on that particular granny square The joining process? Hope this makes sense?
Hi, Marion Bartley!! Yes - I always do join as you go! The video for solid granny squares is old, but it's here: ruclips.net/video/eJkSZ-uP6F4/видео.html Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
Ok someone tell me how to get over the horror of granny squares from way back! Lol !I can’t get past how ugly they were and how they were used, yet some today are very nice and in the right colors can be very pretty

Could you do this method for a granny square cardigan bearing in mind there is a front opening and slits for the sleeves?
Am crocheting the solid granny square block..how do you put them together as you go?
Question Crysta, do you block your squares before you join?
