    Finally someone who explains how to do this in a simple manner plus how to join the corners on the second row! I’ve been trying to do this from written tutorials and it’s a hot mess so thank you!

  • @KCCAT5
    @KCCAT5 2 года назад +5

    I started this years ago from a written tutorial and got four squares joined in one row and put it down and haven't been back to it in five years lol I'm finally coming back today to finish off projects that I haven't finished that's my goal for 2022 that and to stay on my diet. And you make it so much easier than the written tutorial that I was following that I can't even find anymore. So thank you for doing this

    Thanks for sharing this wonderful tutorial!❤️😊 I can never decide on the best way to join my squares and always feel like my corner joins could (or should) be better. I like the looks of your favorite way to join best. You are correct in that it'll take more time to finish... especially for someone who's already slow (like me - lol). It does look really great your way though! ❤️ Thanks again!🙏❤️😊

    Thank you for this! I'm working on a willow square afghan, and I've been searching all over RUclips for a video tutorial of a more decorative join than the usual slip stitch, whip stitch, single crochet stuff. I've been looking for 2 days, after the tutorial I was going to use, a v stitch pattern which wasn't clear enough for me to follow because of my brain fog, and it was done one a traditional granny square, not a square with a single crochet border which I have been doing. I didn't want to have to try and fiddle with it to modify it, and finally today this came up in my reccomended. I just tried it out and it looks fantastic, just what I was hoping for. Thank You! This video popping up has really made my day. ♡ from Canada!

    Thank you for this video. I was looking for a new, different way to join squares for an afghan. I wanted something special, not just an ordinary join. I had some scrap yarn circles to squares blocks and used this join for them as a practice for the blanket I’m making for my daughter. The practice afghan turned out beautifully! It took simple blocks and made a stunning blanket. Your video explains this join so clearly, it was easy to follow. I am now working on joining the squares on the gift for my daughter. I know it will be even more beautiful! Thank you. I’ve subscribed and plan to check out all of your other videos.

    Just the tutorial I need for a solid granny join. I've been trying to learn this technique for a long time and have only recently mastered the granny cluster join which can only be applied to granny squares with a shell/chain two/shell. For my solid squares I have had to use the double crochet join for each square giving it a ridged frame but now that I have seen your tutorial, I'm going to use this for my future projects. Thank you again for this wonderful tutorial.

    Krista... I never mind hearing background noises...especially if they are made by dogs and/or kids... it’s life... Right?
    I live alone, with only my two little furbabies for company... I no longer drive, due to glaucoma.,.so I must admit that my iPad is my lifeline.., my five grandsons are all in school, or working... so hearing your kids is nice, 💜

    This is so pretty! I've done reversible knit squares (uniform colour) & cannot find a pretty way to join them. Do you think this would work for knit? Would I still have to do a single crochet around each square? The relief patterns are all different, some sides have no neat selvedge.
