The armor doesn't stop your bones from smashing. The armor pads are designed for the long grind as you slide along the asphalt.

How would this jacket be for 50-60 degree rides in the morning/evening but 80-90 degree rides during the day?
Yes, you can wear it from 50-90, but even with the vents open, it's going to be hot in the 80s. That will be the case with most any textile jacket. -DrewZilla
Are you sure that is the black and 'Olive' Colour? It looks great, I love it but it does look different to both the olive and brown colour pictures on Revzilla.com. Cheers
Yes, it is indeed the _Olive/Black_ color. The product photos on the site were provided by Speed & Strength, and we find our video to be a more accurate representation of the color. -DrewZilla

Video is not a accurate depiction of the colour at at. It's a really dark olive colour. Really deep green, almost black. Not brownish at all
concealed carry pocket? how large? could i carry my glock 19-17 or M&P m 2.0 full size in it? or my M&P shield?

Dude u can fit an m&p shield in ur front pocket , I assume itll.fit this
I wouldn't put my gun anywhere without some sort of trigger guard. Might just be me, but that seems sketchy to have it loose in there.
How does this compare to the Icon 1000 basehawk, they look quite similar in term of category.
For me, the D3O in the Icon Basehawk is superior to the 'Vault' armor that Speed & Strength uses. If you can deal with the style differences, the armor is worth it. -TeamZilla Chris
