Great video. It's nice to see what other shops look like. My local shop castle aquatics in eltham is tiny compared to this.
We have one in Swindon well I think we do not been for a while but it’s an epic place , I’d like a room at home like this with just a swivel chair in the middle ! there much more interesting than the damn tv , thanks for the walk around bro 🙏👍

Visited Madenhead aquatics in St Albans last week and it’s really run down with not many fish in aquarium. This store looks top notch
Most are now as people are actually realising that maidnehad promote fish abuse ,,, there tanks are always ridiculously overstocked, dead and diseased fish everywhere!! , if you want a good aquatics to go to ,, fuck peiraqustics he just has 10% of wharfs variety 🤟🤟 it's won awards 16 years in a row 😏
Yeah that's one of the shops I've been to, visited 18 shops so far. They are nice and friendly in this shop. Brought some drift wood, managed to get a deal.

I went in this shop a couple of weeks ago for a few non rare fish for various tanks and found them really expensive compared to everywhere else even small independent stores, when I saw standard cherry shrimp 10 quid each or two for 19 !! I walked out and spent my money elsewhere .......
I do like maidenhead aquatics although round here none of them stock tanks larger than 200 ltrs and they are quite pricey
if you can you should def visit sweet knowle aquatics in stratford upon avon. it's an amazing place

Fish all look very healthy and shop looks very clean and maintained but the the fish look very expensive, I suppose your paying for the quality and upkeep

Looks similar to my local Maidenhead , that has the same ridiculous prices. Trouble is they attract customers with it being a big chain yet smaller independents offer so much better value for money
Some of my locals are way more expensive then our Maidenhead aquatics

Got 2 goldfish from fair last month so i went to fb groups and ask for an idea, i have been told i should get at least 100 120litre tank.
Went to local pet shop to give away my fish cuz i aint got enough space to put that large fish tank,
Pet shop owner told me, these are not fancy goldfish and they wont grow that big also refused to accept my gold fish as i was trying to give away for free and offered me 25l tank.
I end up buying 25l tank and yesterday my fishes died. Wtf

Blue background looks so much better on a tank than black. Black is so overrated
Certain fish especially South American like blackwater and will just die if you do not give them the feeling of being safe
@@qualitygoldfish2198 first time I’ve ever heard this. I’ve got a black background atm but my next tank will be blue. My light is on night mode so it’s not an intense bright light.
