Coming from someone who doesnt own any Lian Li products (TBH too expensive in my country), they came in with their products and blew away giant companies with their products. This is what happens when you actually have good idea and vision to bring in good products, rather than copy-paste cash grabbing ways of other companies. Well done Lian Li, your products look amazing, and are a lot different, more fun and simply better than what other companies are doing.
I respect the heck out of Lian Li. They came into the very old game of designing cases and fans and they blew the competition out the water with every single product. They don't even have competition on the strimers.
@@Daventry85 pretty late but basically strimers are like rgb cables that are used in place of the normal connectors (since they can't really be hidden so instead just make them look nicer)

Improvements across the board and good god i can't wait to drop some of the cables lol. O11XL here with 10 fans...the cable nightmare on the back is horrible, cant wait to run it all of basically one controller.
I'm about to buy 10 of them but I am not very happy about the "round" infinity-effect being only on exhaust-side, it should be on both sides since the exhaust-side is covered by the case in many variations. In my variation 6 infinity-holes will be just covered by the case, 3 infinity-holes will be on top, so you would have to look inside the case from a minor position, only 1 hole (rear) will be visible with no problems. That's a little too little unfortunately :/
Just got these, they are absolutely amazing looking, well performing, and surprisingly quiet in my case. Only improvement i can think of is this (and i hope Lian Li reads this) they should always pack an adapter cable with the fans that goes: fan connector > pwm & unihub sync-port (for rgb) so every package bought can also be used for cpu cooling. I now had to buy a triple pack (for the uni hub) and a single fan (for the seperate cable with pwm) AND the rgb cable kit (for rgb sync from unihub)... it would be better if these cable options were included in the fan packeges somehow without having to buy both a single pack and a triple pack and a seperate cable pack.. again for the rest: the product itself is of amazing quality!
@Lian Li Why no SL-INF140? You have 63 cases in the market, my search engine says. 50 of them can be used with 140mm fans. That are nearly 80%! Thumbs up for push.
Are these the best looking fans? I mean, maybe, depending on your personal taste. I must say I am digging the aesthetics. Will these be the best performing fans or the best bang for buck fans performance / quality wise? Most likely not. If you want great performing fans you look elsewhere like at Noctua, Phanteks or Be Quiet! .

Hey, i need a controller for the sl inf fans. Im not able to buy a 3 psck reverse fan kit with the controller. Which controller do i need ? The SL V2 ? Is there a difference between the sl infinity controller ?
@@brutaldabs5829 The issue with most of the Unifans is just that they're not really 120mm Fans because the frame takes up a lot of the space for the actual blades. Corsair has the same issue with their LL and QL, which are pretty underperforming.
Damn...very nice. A perfect merger of the AL and SL style lighting. And I JUST finished outfitting my case with SL's on the bottom and top and AL's at the side and rear because I couldn't make up my mind. This fan would look great in all positions!
There is a flaw with them, the infinity mirror is only on one side of the fan. All the fans pulling air into the case you wont be able to see the infinity mirror on.
Would love to see you do a front cover for this fan with the look of the side panel (including rgb)!!! You have the o11family , where you can peek in front, it would be nice if the fan looked as good from the front as from the side.
Hey LianLi! This Fans are awesome! I bought at least 12 of them :D What I noticed: - The cables routet through the frame to the spindle are white and therefore visible when the fan rotates. Thats not soooo nice. They should be covered or at least black. - The mirror on the spindle is NICE. BUT: Not visible, if you use the fan as an intake fan. You should release another version specially for intake configuration by flipping the blades. Then the fan will be absolutely perfect!

LIAN LI please learn from your competitors, like BeQuiet and Corsair: they release at the same time the 120 and the 140 version. Not 6 months later or never, like in the AL140 case. Since your own cases support both 120 and 140 fans, people will most likely buy them when both versions are available, in order to complete their build with matching fans. And please don't write again on Reddit "yeah the 140 version in the near future", then postpone and never release them, otherwise how can we trust you anymore. We just buy a different product.
Corsair has had the same fans for like 3 years now and they definitely didn't release 140 models at the same time especially for white ql 140s. Every brand does this you probably just don't remember

I have 9 of these and wish you had a cap for the ends to cover the electrical connector, in my O11D tha end looks hideous as I have three on top and three on bottom. Perhaps add a matching infinity mirror with an extra RGB and update firmware on controller and l-connect software to support the accessory. I would definitely buy if made available. And don't forget to make a 140mm version. That would be nice for the O11 Mini Air

@@Raptor22ZMB on their official page i found out it does say that current Lian Li AIO coolers will connect to it… Near the bottom of the SL-INF120 product page it shows the hub and it’s inputs. Then it says “SM TYPE PORT. Compatible with the Galahad AIO pump ARGB cable.”
How the hell can I control the RGB like that? I have the single one and I have strix b350 f gaming motherboard… I tried armoury creat but the effect is not good… it doesn’t have the other color for side line and other color for fans
You have to control them through L-Connect. Their own software lets you change the color of the outer ring and the inside part differently. Armoury Crate only applies the same effect in every part of the fan.
@@zenjim1305 Have you tried uninstalling L-Connect and installing it again? Make sure when you apply an effect to your fans, select “Apply ALL” so it syncs the effect in ALL fans.

A applaud you for designing such connectors that cuts down on wires. I literally buy them for that alone! But the amazing design even better! You know how annoying it is to have so much wires. Just look at corsair RGB fans. 2 long wires per fan and then imagine using 9 fans! plus the commander pro which is sold separately and is not cheap.
Putting together a white themed rig with the Sonic motherboard as the core of the idea for my kid. Gonna smack that rig full of those fans! Its gonna be dope! 💥🤘
The look nice... but the software, even the latest version, with no hubs connected, STILL sucks back 10% of my CPU continually!!!!! Looking at the connector to the hub, I would not be able to run it without the hub (since it uses 1 wire, instead of a RGB and a PWM Fan)... making me take a good second look and considering a pass. Nor does Fan Control able to manage the fans as anything but a single device, and can't see the speed of each. I prefer more control from a centralized control interface!
This all was the reason why I didn't go for Thermaltake or NZXT for either of my systems, and why I did consider the original Uni Fans. The new design is definitely a step back for power users, but I guess they did the math and found those to be an insignificant minority - at least compared to increased sales from vendor locking, and positive PR from the "single wire" fanatics.

Third world country here and yeah the only problem is it's too expensive, 1 Lian Li case and 1 set of Lian Li fan cost the same as RTX 3060..

I have receive replacement fans for both the SL and AL versions. Their LEDs die after a year.

As stated you can add 4 groups of 4 fans ea. so 16 fans total with 1 controller
