Coming from someone who doesnt own any Lian Li products (TBH too expensive in my country), they came in with their products and blew away giant companies with their products.
This is what happens when you actually have good idea and vision to bring in good products, rather than copy-paste cash grabbing ways of other companies.
Well done Lian Li, your products look amazing, and are a lot different, more fun and simply better than what other companies are doing.
Third world country here and yeah the only problem is it's too expensive, 1 Lian Li case and 1 set of Lian Li fan cost the same as RTX 3060..
I love the infinity mirror effect. Dang, I just got the regular sl120 and I already want to upgrade. Pc building is an addiction
Bruh lm so addicted to PC building my wallets always empty and my diet is only eating 2minute noodles lol
@@bro_nz1178 You are literally going to die in your 30s with that diet
@@Autistic_Helicopter 42 still ticking bud
I respect the heck out of Lian Li. They came into the very old game of designing cases and fans and they blew the competition out the water with every single product. They don't even have competition on the strimers.
What are the strimers? Been trying to learn about PCs recently and would love to get into building one.
@@Daventry85 pretty late but basically strimers are like rgb cables that are used in place of the normal connectors (since they can't really be hidden so instead just make them look nicer)
@@Daventry85 its never too late, welcome!! A fun Neverending world awaits!

Now I just need to wait for the 140mm release... 😢
Same. I need the 140’s for my build
Doesn't exist
For real as soon as they release white 140s I’m swapping all my old SLs out
@@TonysTechAndCars he said he needs to wait for them to release
@@TonysTechAndCars only a matter of time bro
man lian-li are killing it with everything
No they aren't, spend 5 seconds at your microcenter return department
I have receive replacement fans for both the SL and AL versions. Their LEDs die after a year.
@@Yaxie that's an issue with all led fans though.
It looks awsome. Can't wait for Purchase it and build my 1st own PC
Glad I didn't purchase the previous model. This one looks amazing and definitely buying for my custom loop!
@@coyotetrou8362 disgusting is a not the right word, it’s more then shit
man can't wait for them to pop up in Australia, hopefully price won't be too steep.
The software and the actual connector/etc all looks like its taken into another level. Improvements across the board and good god i can't wait to drop some of the cables lol. O11XL here with 10 fans...the cable nightmare on the back is horrible, cant wait to run it all of basically one controller.
Update: sadly a bit pricey. $160AUD for x3, my O11-XL needs 10 lol.
@@ZomgZomg007 and controllers are still shit
I'm about to buy 10 of them but I am not very happy about the "round" infinity-effect being only on exhaust-side, it should be on both sides since the exhaust-side is covered by the case in many variations. In my variation 6 infinity-holes will be just covered by the case, 3 infinity-holes will be on top, so you would have to look inside the case from a minor position, only 1 hole (rear) will be visible with no problems. That's a little too little unfortunately :/
The best fan only gets better! 👍😎
Are these the best looking fans? I mean, maybe, depending on your personal taste. I must say I am digging the aesthetics.
Will these be the best performing fans or the best bang for buck fans performance / quality wise? Most likely not.
If you want great performing fans you look elsewhere like at Noctua, Phanteks or Be Quiet! .
@@TechieSunset the lian LI fans have always looked great and performed well for me, but my favorite part is how clean the cable management is with them. Only have to worry about one cable per daisy chain
Just got these, they are absolutely amazing looking, well performing, and surprisingly quiet in my case. Only improvement i can think of is this (and i hope Lian Li reads this) they should always pack an adapter cable with the fans that goes: fan connector > pwm & unihub sync-port (for rgb) so every package bought can also be used for cpu cooling. I now had to buy a triple pack (for the uni hub) and a single fan (for the seperate cable with pwm) AND the rgb cable kit (for rgb sync from unihub)... it would be better if these cable options were included in the fan packeges somehow without having to buy both a single pack and a triple pack and a seperate cable pack.. again for the rest: the product itself is of amazing quality!
Just bought 2x140, wont work on Aio without hub?
These new fans are ROCKIN' cool looking!
@Lian Li
Why no SL-INF140? You have 63 cases in the market, my search engine says. 50 of them can be used with 140mm fans. That are nearly 80%!
Thumbs up for push.
I just returned 3 3packs of AL fans I bought and hadn't opened yet to get these. Am I nuts
Hey LianLi!
This Fans are awesome! I bought at least 12 of them :D
What I noticed:
- The cables routet through the frame to the spindle are white and therefore visible when the fan rotates. Thats not soooo nice. They should be covered or at least black.
- The mirror on the spindle is NICE. BUT: Not visible, if you use the fan as an intake fan. You should release another version specially for intake configuration by flipping the blades.
Then the fan will be absolutely perfect!
Original AL are still the best looking
Damn...very nice. A perfect merger of the AL and SL style lighting. And I JUST finished outfitting my case with SL's on the bottom and top and AL's at the side and rear because I couldn't make up my mind. This fan would look great in all positions!
There is a flaw with them, the infinity mirror is only on one side of the fan. All the fans pulling air into the case you wont be able to see the infinity mirror on.
@@Rockett. yep, I noticed that before I typed my comment. 😊
@@Rockett. that could be an idea for an update of these....with infinity lighting on both sides
Jesus Christ everytime Lian Li comes out with something they legit make picking any other brand OBSELETE ...
damm these are clean no compromise now and the frame has rgb lian li dont miss hope they make some 140 variant
the compromise is performance
@@Fopserr why's that are they bad profamance wise campared to sl120
@@brutaldabs5829 The issue with most of the Unifans is just that they're not really 120mm Fans because the frame takes up a lot of the space for the actual blades. Corsair has the same issue with their LL and QL, which are pretty underperforming.
@@Fopserr i remember watching a video on that and somehow forgot this thanks man for the reminder lol ^^
Cable managing PCs with loads of fans LL makes that work so easy
I hope ARGB lian li unify SL & AL are merged, it must be really cool 🔥🔥🔥
120mm fans from LianLi became a light show and 140mm fans just don't exist anymore
I love the concept, the software is better than others and the infinity mirror! Just wonderful. one day I might be able to afford them.
I bet these would look sick with an nzxt aio, not their z series with an lcd screen I'm talking about the x series with an infinity mirror
Say less, i'll do it lmao.
@@TylerSmithOH new phone who dis
I was literally thinking this would look great with my Nzxt x58 krakens infinity mirror
I dropped this suggestion to them 3 months ago... I couldn't believe no one in the industry made dual facing fans for push/pull configurations.
ThermalTake with their Swafans. But they cost an arm and a leg, doe.
We need a galahad aio with these fans :-D
YES TO THIS
Galahad aio with these fans and a lcd
I too am patiently waiting for this.
It will be good if there is an option which enables to be use as exhaust
Will there be a 140 version?
Putting together a white themed rig with the Sonic motherboard as the core of the idea for my kid.
Gonna smack that rig full of those fans!
Its gonna be dope! 💥🤘
Wtf... none in stores that can ship to Canada without extreme shipping time and cost from aliexpress? Come on Lian-Li.
I was waiting on these fans for my new rebuild love the look, but I want 140mm so back to the drawing board I guess
what 140s did you get?
right on time, i was just looking for new fans
Would love to see you do a front cover for this fan with the look of the side panel (including rgb)!!! You have the o11family , where you can peek in front, it would be nice if the fan looked as good from the front as from the side.
LIAN LI: When will your software get a digital Signature you promise now for Years! Nothing happend.
Sad to see that Lian Li moved to a "single cable", which is marketed as an improvement but actually exists to lock people into a single manufacturer's ecosystem - same as Thermaltake, NZXT, and the like.
You can no longer connect the RGB past the hub with just a common JST-3pin adapter (actually Lian Li would recommend you getting a whole cable kit of theirs for that), you'll need a custom adapter now; you can no longer connect older "uni fans" (not that uni anymore, huh?) without that same adapter; and without said adapter, you'll need to buy the multipack for the hub and spend a SATA connector and a USB header, as well as install software just for the passthrough - even if you only want to control the fans and the motherboard via a third-party, non-vendor-locked, lightweight app.
I was actually considering adding this newer fan as an accent to the older uni fans, but unless the breakout adapter is bundled with each fan... I think I'll pass. Not worth the effort.
You can plug them in to a mono they have adapter
LIAN LI please learn from your competitors, like BeQuiet and Corsair: they release at the same time the 120 and the 140 version.
Not 6 months later or never, like in the AL140 case.
Since your own cases support both 120 and 140 fans, people will most likely buy them when both versions are available, in order to complete their build with matching fans.
And please don't write again on Reddit "yeah the 140 version in the near future", then postpone and never release them, otherwise how can we trust you anymore. We just buy a different product.
Corsair has had the same fans for like 3 years now and they definitely didn't release 140 models at the same time especially for white ql 140s. Every brand does this you probably just don't remember
Enjoying everything about these exspesally the fast connects
these look dope. best from the 2 old fan models. and improved. just hot
A applaud you for designing such connectors that cuts down on wires. I literally buy them for that alone! But the amazing design even better!
You know how annoying it is to have so much wires. Just look at corsair RGB fans. 2 long wires per fan and then imagine using 9 fans! plus the commander pro which is sold separately and is not cheap.
Original SL120 the best!
Hey, i need a controller for the sl inf fans. Im not able to buy a 3 psck reverse fan kit with the controller. Which controller do i need ? The SL V2 ? Is there a difference between the sl infinity controller ?
Hi, Lian Li. We all NEED the 140mm version of this fans.
Thank you, have a great day.
Finally, Infinity Mirror on fans. Rest of the components managed to get it, now only RAM and PSU left.
(If there are already RAM and PSU with I.M then please correct me, I didn't know. Thanks)
these look unbelievably good
The look nice... but the software, even the latest version, with no hubs connected, STILL sucks back 10% of my CPU continually!!!!! Looking at the connector to the hub, I would not be able to run it without the hub (since it uses 1 wire, instead of a RGB and a PWM Fan)... making me take a good second look and considering a pass. Nor does Fan Control able to manage the fans as anything but a single device, and can't see the speed of each. I prefer more control from a centralized control interface!
This all was the reason why I didn't go for Thermaltake or NZXT for either of my systems, and why I did consider the original Uni Fans. The new design is definitely a step back for power users, but I guess they did the math and found those to be an insignificant minority - at least compared to increased sales from vendor locking, and positive PR from the "single wire" fanatics.
Lian Li is taking over 😍
will there also be a 140mm version of the INF ?
Need to find the 140mm I thought they were releasing them but can’t find them anywhere ordered some 120s but need 140s for my radiator and to finish a new build I wanna do. I hate having two different kinds of fans in one case
which way does the air flow??? im having trouble finding which way. please help
OK i usually buy an Arctic fan as i dont see the value in the more expensive ones like Corsair/Noctua and such but THIS just by the look is worth the money , the design and aesthetic is just above top tier . Also would love to see them in 140mm .
yes please!

bro why is it upside down? LMAO i got you there @ 1:20
I literally already bought fans for my o11 air mini. Why couldn't you have come out a month sooner!!!
RAINBOW MODE ON
Just in time, I was just about to upgrade my fans lol
im still running corsairs but i love my lian li xl case
love u maybe ill get back to ya in a next build
I have 9 of these and wish you had a cap for the ends to cover the electrical connector, in my O11D tha end looks hideous as I have three on top and three on bottom. Perhaps add a matching infinity mirror with an extra RGB and update firmware on controller and l-connect software to support the accessory. I would definitely buy if made available.
And don't forget to make a 140mm version. That would be nice for the O11 Mini Air
You only need 3 connectors
Can i get new Hub and Software to work with my AL120's?
i have the AL 120 fans, but these man are beautiful AF**
take my money!
Well Done Lian Li. Well Done!
damn wish the single cable uni hub was a thing 3 weeks ago when i bought my fans
Anyone else watch Lian Li product b-rolls just for the sound track!? I want this editors play list!
the 140 man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's 4 months that I am waiting for the 140! PLSSSSSS
let me know when they are available I need to finish my build...
(I really can feel the difference with Lian Li, taiwan n1)
there are 140mm versions of these fans but sold as single pack
If they would've kept the cross like frame of the AL120's I might be buying these, but aesthetics for me just don't go well with the spiral frame.
This fan can be used as cpu fan? im planning to put this on my CM Hyper212 Evo V2 tower cooler
140. When? Or will the company ever produce one?
Already preordered mine
Poor Quality Check on SL120 Infinity. 2 faulty fan out of 3 box I brought. I have to go for RMA twice and the distributor told me that they don't have stock. When I ask them when will they have stock, they told me I need to wait quite sometimes. That is totally unacceptable since this fan ain't cheap. (EDITED: Now another fan start to make noise.. Total 3 fan now.. )
WOW! I love it
Is there one with no RGB Lighting cause I building a case with no RGB Fan but I do love the way these fan connected
The original SL series only has accent lines which won't stand out much if you turn them off.
ima grab these
When strimer plus for the rtx 40 series? Cant wait
How much of an improvement are the SL INFINITY fans compared to original SL 120 fans?
Them sure are some fancy fans
Speaking of L Connect. Will you manage to get your software to launch at start minimised or should we wait for LConnect 4? Thanks
Sl120s cost me 30$ each..how much are these puppies gonna cost?
Can I plug these infinity lights into the razer rgb controller?
why are these not available in the UK?
Why are these being released just now :( Now I'm stuck with 7 SL120's and 2 SL140's :/
those fans are compatible with gigabyte z270-ud3 board without rgb connector 🤔
These were already listed as out of stock on Newegg. Were they ever in stock to begin with?
Right I wanna pre-order!!!!
I sure hope it isn't a pre order. I want to just buy them considering we have all been waiting for them for like a year.
@@tracyfox1892 true..... has anybody pre-ordered them off of Newegg on here?
@@hashmaticmining5589 don't know yet. Been trying to find out here and Reddit. The Strimmer 2 launched at 9am Pacific time. So I am hoping the fans come back in stock at that time.
@@tracyfox1892 hopefully...... thanks for your replies!
I hate the proprietary connector you put on these. I'll stick with my SL120s. At least those you can easily splice the ARGB Wire to switch it to a standard header if you want. I'd like to purchase the mirror hubs though.
If i order the 3 pack, can i use 2 for side vent on their own, and one alone as an exhaust?> Would those cables that come included accommodate this , or would i need to buy a single for the rear as an exhaust?
you get three connectors in the box
F for Corsair QL gang.
nice!
Please release it in Korea
question do u have a cable to link the 1 back fan to the 3 fans on top & then only use 1 slot on the uni hub ???
My MoRa ist still waiting for 9x 140mm. Lian Li pls.
Would love for L-Connect to not peak my CPU and Voltage everytime I open it and make it so I can't control the fans from my motherboard.
Any chance these will be available on amazon?
make 140 fans and make reverse edition of your fans pls! some of us dont like the back side of the fans
The Cables are always black 🤔 Please Lian Li, made them white with the white Fans for a perfect Look on a white Build.
also is there 140 version? or only 120
As much as i like the way these fans look, can't go back to SL from AL after switching over from original SL120 to AL120
Temperature difference between SL and AL on my looped build is night and day different specially through 60mm rad. I'm no longer exhausting hot air through the top mounted 40mm rad since 60mm rad is actually cooling. Big fan of bi-direction plug but not a fan of single connector overall. Hopefully double connector that splits pwm and rgb is also available so that we can set custom fan curves that ties into the coolant temp
Wait.. was that a new software UI? Looks a lot nicer then the old one.
THIS keeps getting better and better. Are y'all gonna do a 200mm version too?
I would lose my mind if they did a 200mm. Imagine how beautiful it would be
@@Codyno DUUUUUUUDE!!!! That would be the day I buy a fan just to look at it.
How the hell can I control the RGB like that? I have the single one and I have strix b350 f gaming motherboard… I tried armoury creat but the effect is not good… it doesn’t have the other color for side line and other color for fans
You have to control them through L-Connect. Their own software lets you change the color of the outer ring and the inside part differently. Armoury Crate only applies the same effect in every part of the fan.
@@mysticqro950 I think my controller is broken, one of the slot sync is not working and all not detecting fan
