On kitchen nightmares customers knew it was shit during the dinner service part and Ramsay shut down places that where disgusting. This show is basically the same but he knows well beforehand about the food. The orginal UK kitchen nightmares was so much better. The US has to make everything over the top, and most great shows are copied from the UK and Japan.

This show ruined anything under 5 stars or fast food for me. I may grab a Filet-O-Fish from McDonalds a few times a year or a grilled cheese and fries from In & Out, but I refuse to eat at these random restaurants. I worked in well kept restaurants for 15 years and would never work in an environment like this. Invest in your home kitchen, especially with these mandatory gratuities and horrible dirty workers. I make the best food at home.
EBT people and minimum wagers and trailer people will not pull out the equipment after every shift and spend 2 hours cleaning. They think, dinner rush done, I'm done. We did it, it was a pain in the ass every night and a deep cleaning every Wednesday, including hood vents, but we didn't have grease caked everywhere and bugs and rotten shit in the fridge.
