NEVER CHANGE YOUR CONTENT PLEASE! YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE SUBSCRIBERS AND FANS! I play the campfire cooking playlist to help me go to sleep. Its just so satisfying and relaxing!
I am a Korean man. You have good impression and tone. I understand your language partially with automatic subtitles, but most understand it as your video. I like your video.
Discovered your channel through Joe Robinet, and love to watch this type of thing. I used to go wild camping when i was younger and plus used to attend motorcycle camping rallies. Cooking and enjoying the camping side. I wish i could still do it, but with a damaged back plus paralysed left foot, making wild camping not really possible. So watching it is the next best thing. Thx for the good videos.
Hi Matt, Thanks for coming over, Joe is the man :) sorry to hear that you can't really camp anymore, that sucks.. ill do my best to make it feel like you're there :) ATB - Andy
cooking outdoors amazing. I'm going to try some of your recipes this spring/summer. keep these cooking videos coming love them. and save on house hold bills I'm starting cooking in my garden.
haha nothing like cooking outside.. im pretty used to it from my BBQ days, spending the whole night in the garden tending my smoker :p Thanks for watching
I think this video is great! Best way to cook a pork belly hands down. I found it a little funny that you go through all that trouble splitting the wood, but in a good way, I totally get it. Made me remember the boy scouts’ survival campings whit life saving supermarket links... best in the world!
Just came home from work and watched your video, awesome job on that pork belly. Glad the wife is cooking dinner because I’m starving now. Cheers mate!
Very similar recipe and result I had last week with baby backribs on the grill, using indirect heat, and sassafras in my smoker box. Nice smoke ring also. But now I have to find a slab of pork belly, already have the basket, and I will have to improvise a tripod over my firepit. I have some seasoned applewood and some maple for the smoky flavoring. Now I'm salivating, and it is almost midnight! Catching up on your vids, one by one as time allows. As always, stay safe. BTW I've used that wish for over 30 years already for family and friends.
Just found you a couple of days ago and i love your channel....i so enjoy watching you cook on your campfire...It all looks awesome! watching you from Sugarloaf Lake, Arkansas...You may just become my all time favorite! such great videos!
Here in Texas the smoke ring is like a badge of honor. I usually have to use an enclosed smoker or grill to get it. You must have kept the temp 250 deg f or so for a while to get it. Good job. Tasty meal as usual!
Thanks Dan, I was surprised it was as pronounced as it was, gotta love it (the wet wood probably helped haha) weather is a bit better now.. ill have to get the smoker out soon.. not carrying it the woods though haha.
Sangyupsal (bbq pork belly) - the national dish of Korea, knock yourself up some homemade kimchi and + 10,000 Korean subs!!! Nice job Kent! Camp fire cook extraordinaire!
Dude I love your vids but I have been curious as to your culinary background, which it seems you must have, give us a briefing on it sometime. I would be interested. Thanks for you salivating videos.
Ha ha nice try! I'v been to loads of farms of late trying to find a small place to do some bush craft but no one has any as they are using them for shooting etc... I live in Alton with loads of fields and woods.... Seems like people don't like us kind of people asking it seems... any advice on where to go for a night or two down south? Peace
yeah, its hard going finding a good place.. have you looked around your area for any local woodland coalition type things, there seems to be a few around and might be more willing. Im not too familiar with the South Downs, I had a bible around the Surrey hills last year and though that it looked promising for a stealthy camp.. not been back since though.
Awesome! Would have liked to have seen you take a big square piece of just the pork belly for reaction before doing the bun thing. I'm going to do this next time camping. Thank you!
Thanks Andy, now I've got to go and rummage around in the fridge in an attempt to asuage my belly pork hunger !!, great vid mate thanks for sharing.. ATB Pete
haha, Thanks.. it seems sales of pork belly are up this week :p Glad to hear you're enjoying Toms vids, always good to find a channel to binge on when bored :p

Oh Andy.....that looks bloody lovely. Tasty cut the belly, I'm a fan of the BBQ sauce idea too. Honey is a bit tasty for a final glaze too if you haven't tried it....Great stuff...cheers 👍

Kent Survival - Belly Belly Belly.....Hahaha! I can’t remember what that ad was for, but those words have stayed with me!
I think it was for sports clothing... I saw it being filmed in Romford... very surreal seeing a giant belly go [past on a trolly haha
Pork belly is one of the tastiest meats around
I am a Korean man. You have good impression and tone. I understand your language partially with automatic subtitles, but most understand it as your video. I like your video.

I really like belly pork done in tinfoil until you can pull it apart with a fork. Then served with creamy buttery mashed potato and a rich gravy.

Sorry but despise dairy products...you could actually chase me down the road with a knob of butter....lol!
If this is "surviving" I need to survive with you! The Chief of the Outdoors! Bravo!

Great as ever Andy! A dollop of English mustard would have been nice too.
