20 mins in, I just realized this is a non-food, limited gear survival challenge. Very impressive. I like your style and thanks for bringing us along!🫡👍👍👍
My gentle giant always take water with you. That was a in the rough nature vid. I enjoyed you explaining about what you were eating. 😊😊 Next vid please take care of yourself, never seen you like that before.

Dear friend, what a great reward for three days of suffering. Too bad the fish was so small. Even so, thank you for a new video for bushcraft lovers. Many things are learned from seeing you. Greetings, friend.
Yes I thought of that. But tastes better this way. In a real survival scenario I would boil, drink and eat everything. But I knew fast food was coming up the next day😁
4 days of foraging, bushcrafting, filming, fishing, enduring thirst, hunger, less than ideal weather....and not ONCE did I hear him complain. 🤔🤦🏼♂️😁 Thanks for enduring another fantastic adventure my friend. I hope you indulged a good bit when you got back home 🇨🇦👍🏼
I love your videos, no talking but so much interesting. You do what I never could do. I don’t like Fast food but I think after that days it would be delicious.
HAHAHAHA! What a great ending, my friend! I was howling! Living off the land from scratch - no salt or fat for cooking/flavor - is extremely tough, even if you have knowledge of edible plants/mushrooms. Speaking of which, please tell me you did not eat all 1.3 kg of the mixed mushrooms (cantharellus tubaeformis/cibarius/?) in one sitting? That would be VERY hard on your digestive tract. LOL! And I know that tired/dizzy/head achy feeling of way too few nutrients. I would have been fishing every moment until I had half a dozen little perch! Kudos to you for an excellent and challenging adventure!
Thanks my friend! Actually I could not finish them, had some left with me back home even. They are great food... but they grow on you if you know what I mean😁
@@Swedwoods Completely understand. Been a mushroom forager for almost 30 years. They are a great flavor enhancer, but in most cases, a poor main/only course! Can't wait for the next installment, hopefully snowing, fully engulfed in nature's winter cloak! Cheers!
Best hamburger EVER??? 😂😂😂 Great outing! The TV show Alone lets you know that living off the land isn't going to happen. You might survive winter if you'd spent the entire spring and summer storing up food but even then people starved and died. Awesome video like always.
That was a bunch of chanterelles, may not have the calories but they're tasty😉 Ever heard of eating rabbit till you die?, no protein and fat is failure. It's got to be tough in that kind of forest, maybe a few berries left or some obscure root vegetable but not much else. Hunting and fishing I think is paramount for survival. Excellent video, thanks for all the work and the trip. Well done, like the burger...
"Ever eat a pine cone?" That was one of the favorite sayings of an American wild foods expert many years ago: Euell Gibbons. More realistically, I think you'd have to throw modern conservation rules out the window to stay ahead: net fish, take game or fowl anyway you could.
Another great video my friend. I always enjoy the scenery. Your forest is pristine over there. I also come away learning something new. Today I just got my Trangia stove from Amazon. I wanted it because of the simmer ring. I have a homemade fancy fiest stove . Works great for boiling. Anyway many thanks as always. Cheers from Cape Breton 👍👍
Fantastic video as usual .. Like I've said before .. I always learn something from your videos. Today it was the stick poncho / tarp hanger.. never seen that before... The ending was hilarious Thanks again for sharing
Wonderfull vid. Again. "Living off the Land" is extremely difficult. Great shot starting at 20:14, walking across the "Myr" ( swamp/bog/whatever). Captured the sense and feeling of it perfectly. That must have cost you, considering that you were hungry, with a low energy level. Respect.
What a nice tranquil trip! A very peaceful location. I could feel your hunger! Nothing replenishes the body like animal fat and protein! Excellent adventure Swedwoods 🇸🇪😎🇸🇪!!
Hello! You're awesome! It is hard to live in Nature. There are mushrooms, fish, but meat is also essential. Survive must with a lot of energy. Thank you for being here. At the end of the day, hamburgers was perfect, too!
What a miserable time and great test of character!.. in contrast to the other, really amazing meel plans and cookings.. thank you for sharing, this video was really nice inspiration of what kind of things you could do to challenge your level of woodsmanship!.. i have thought many times with curiosity on the old days when hipster equipment and comforts didn't exist, with simple tools and knowledge of nature was all you needed to travel and survive in these scandinavian forests.. awesome vid, thank you!
Great video, as always. Thank you for showing us just how quickly things can degrade mentally and physically afterfour days without adequate food and drink.
Good camps. I'd rather have fried fish as a fried brain from hunger anyday. A welcome site an auto that will start and a hot meal you didn't have to fix. All good from east Kentucky USA. Nomad Mountain Man Next time.
very cool to see you out testing your limits a little, everyone who hikes in wilderness areas and off trail should know a little about how it feels when you're running on empty, good to prepared and also i think one learns alot
What a fantastic video, thanks for sharing. This is how our ancestors used to live, just surviving on plants and berries with some fish or wild meat maybe. Great ending, you deserved it 👍

Sir, thanks for going the extra mile on this one for great content. Bravo. I bet a burger never tasted so good as the one at the end. 🍔😎

Hi @Swedwoods! After a long, hot Las Vegas summer, I'm looking forward to getting back into your peaceful videos. Hope you and yours have been well!
Thank you kindly!
A nice big double-pattie burger with all the trimmings after a long 4 day trek in the woods , Bon Appetit my good man ! ! !
Forests looks so beautiful in autumn oppose to the depressing urban environment we all associate with this time of the year.
The ending gave you energy for the next ten weeks of survival. Thank you for this tour! Best regards.
Poor guy couldn't even wait for it to finish cooking.

Thanks! Yes you have to take the different "soppar" early in the season before they get infested with worms.

Nice!! Good that you got some fish. In real survival it is better to cook them in a pot with water (make soup) to get more from the nutrients.
