Lots of good parts at least! A friend of mine killed 3 mowers in a row that way - a Briggs powered John Deere, a Honda powered LawnBoy and a Briggs powered Toro. I kept telling him to check the oil every time before he uses the mower but he would always forget. In all 3 cases he said the same thing: “I only ran them that way for a little while”. After #3 I think he finally got the idea.
I had a brand new box store edge brought in shop Saturday morning and he said it started and I used it for nearly a hour and died, can’t pull rope out ??? Never put oil in it 😂 Junk now 😢😢😢
How can you be almost a qt low on that mower and not even know it??! Capacity of that is 18- oz!!! The owner was obviously a qt low! People that cannot take care of equipment should not be allowed to own any. That's why I quit doing tune ups and such on mower, blowers, boat engines, etc. People flog the hell out of everything, and I got tired of fixng their now turned-to-junk. 'Course, ya can't fix stupid. 🙄

@@philliphall5198noooooo! Whoops
fun watching you add oil ten times
Probably should have dumped it first and filled but didn’t expect it to be empty
Excellent video for basic principles of internal function 👍
Appreciate it, and glad it was useful!
Excellent learning moment, Ray. Thanks so much! 🔧👍
I appreciate it, hope you enjoyed the video
It’s hard to fathom anyone who doesn’t check oil first before starting ANY engine! Every time!!!
Did you notice how much I put in. Checked about 10 times…

I’ve definitely seen it like you mentioned. Unfortunately missing that check cost them a lot. Thanks for commenting!
A quart is 32 ounces. If capacity is 18 ounces then maybe a pint low. Pint is 16 ounces. 😉
