Man....They were all so young then, and so was I ...The 1980's was the decade that was the very best ! The most fun...WOW. I truly feel sorry for the kids today. A lot of the music is just Shit.
I'll take the '80s easily, even the pop stuff. I miss being able to watch non-stop videos on MTV all day, especially with so much rock and hard rock in the playlist.
Me too! I remember when I was 11 or 12 and my dad came home with Ratt album. Im 27 now and I still listen to Ratt and all the bands in this genre! Thanks dad! Haha
I had this on VHS and I have no idea what happened to it. Brings back great memories. I remember it was the first time I got to hear all of there voices when it came out. Along with Motley Crue/ Uncensored. Thanks for the post . I listened to Dancing Undercover today.
They were so glammy, and such great musicians. 1985/86 looked similar, in some ways, to the Bolan/Bowie/Roxy Music/Sweet era of the early 1970s. Fantastic band.
I have this video on VHS. I watched it so many times. I wish I can find it on DVD or digital but I am so thankful I found this on RUclips. Great memories, fun band, loved their music .... they totally rocked!!
Yeah, I agree about Juan. He's just a very polite, classy guy. Robbin was the same too, very intelligent, well-spoken, thoughtful, and a really gentle soul. Off-topic, but what ethnicity is Stephen? He looks at least partly Native American.
I went to Japan as a high school exchange student in 2005. It would've been so fascinating being there in the 80s, when the high tech was mostly just in Akihabara, the night skyline was filled with neon, and the culture was still primarily Japanese. Going there later was great, but this is a true time capsule.
@Greg Hubbard so true also my time my music they never were close to best. I do like some of there songs. The eighties had so many great bands best time for music all generes period. But ratt the best no ay in hell.
I have been a fan of Ratt since the early 80s and the one thing that stood out to me of anything that I saw was the makeup!! I did not remember all the makeup before but I am sure it was there... Even today at 54 I still like to crank Ratt from my car stereo quite often thanks to an ancient technology called compact discs.
God bless these guys. They are the ultimate rock and roll heroes for millions of human beings in this planet. Thank you for your great music, thank you for the good times, thank you for just being there for us.
It’s amazing how Bobby Blotzer is just not included in a lot of these videos or any videos really. Even in their music videos he hardly ever gets any screen time. Drummer dissed again!
Warren strikes me as a quiet guy, introvert who isn't a very good speaker. I admire him more now because I'm the same way, he's a big influence on my guitar playing.
It's to bad that they couldn't get along. The first two albums were good times, it seemed. But after that, everything went to hell in a hand basket! Robin Crosby had the world in his hands! But the drugs just took over! It really is a shame, because he was such a awesome talent!
I'd have to agree --- "Out of the Cellar" and "Invasion of Your Privacy" were good 80's rock albums --- but after that it went downhill fast --- drugs and fragile egos will destroy any band
My favorite band of the era, and one of my first "favorite bands". I liked all their albums (until maybe the self-titled first reunion album), but Out Of The Cellar always stood out above them all IMO.
@lollipuddle I think you're right. Juan has always given me the impression that he is well spoken, intelligent and a great deal of fun to be around. He still does and that's why I'm a fan to this day.
Nah..great to watch...makes you appreciate how less uptight people were back then and enjoyed life unlike today where people have a stick up their asses when it comes to being offended
So I always see those dolls of RATT members in these videos. Where on earth can I find one?! Warren DeMartini is my Idol, and that would be awesome to have!
Ratt is hanging in there they have had some bad things happen and i admire them for holding the band together so please support them! And go see them live if you can. Your brother JET🦇
It doesn't take away the fact that Juan has no history of even thinking of having a boyfriend. He was a rather faithful husband to his wife, though, considering the lifestyle of 80's bands. LOL
I just figured it out, remember in the video "You Think Your Tough" there's a very quick shot of Jake in that video,I mean it's less than a second towards the end of the song.I noticed none of the video's are on Pt. 1 or Pt.2 so that's why they listed him under Special Appearence.Oh Well Whatever huh.
@EncryptedGod I got your message that you had watched it. Juan's voice is naturally high-pitched (he sang on the high harmonies on Ratt's songs and you can get the full effect of his voice on his Liquid Sunday release) but he's not swishy. He was married and has two kids (not that it means anything necessarily but from what I know of him he's straight). I've had some exchanged with him online and he really is a nice guy.
my wife puts round and round on when I can't get out of bed in the morning. Works instantly, a truly amazing song
Boy those days must feel like 10 lifetimes ago..
don't cry because its over, smile because it happened
Juan cracks me up he's so formal and proper while looking like my aunt Helena.
DEFKONSIXTYSIX Lol 😂 I'm dying
Kaydence Demers RIP ;)
You sound really gay.
I saw your comment first & then i saw Juan in the Interview & it was even more hilarious.🌟
😂😂😂
I still have this on VHS. Yes.....I am old. RATT and roll!
Hard to believe there was a time that existed when music was melodic and actually fucking rocked
Yes I was 16 in highschool in 84 when Ratt started really rollin those carefree days of youth. 55 now where does the time go 😮.
It still does. It's your ears that have betrayed you.
@@paulcosta5854 Righhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht 😂
Man....They were all so young then, and so was I ...The 1980's was the decade that was the very best ! The most fun...WOW. I truly feel sorry for the kids today. A lot of the music is just Shit.
WolfHeavyMetal
A lot of the music in the '80s was shit too.
Yeah but nothing like today.
I'll take the '80s easily, even the pop stuff. I miss being able to watch non-stop videos on MTV all day, especially with so much rock and hard rock in the playlist.
For sure brother.
LIKEWISE!
Wow, never knew this existed.
What a treat for Ratt Heads like me.
Me too! I remember when I was 11 or 12 and my dad came home with Ratt album. Im 27 now and I still listen to Ratt and all the bands in this genre! Thanks dad! Haha

Enjoy everyday and do not take anything for granted. RIP Robbin.
I was in 10th grade ......man the memories. kids today got shit
ME TOO!
I was like 17 when they came out,Round and Round was just incredible when MTV came out,Radio just died after that
ratt n roll is a way of life
Robbin 6'5" of pure hotness. He was so beautiful. Such a sad way to go. Warren was right with Robbin, but he was quiet.
Warren was tall just like Robbin, but super humble. That's cool.
+Tammy Sigmon how tall is warren
Tom Kenny
6'8"
Tom Kenny about 5" shorter than Robbin
Robbin was Ratt. He wrote all their core riffs.
I have this video on VHS. I watched it so many times. I wish I can find it on DVD or digital but I am so thankful I found this on RUclips. Great memories, fun band, loved their music .... they totally rocked!!
It's out on dvd & laser disc as well. Look on EBay & Amazon. It's well worth every penny
Yeah I bought the VHS at a Mom and Pop Video store. Still have it.......Amazing!
I have this tape at home. man the first 2 albums rocked hard af
I agree --- but "Dancing Undercover" really stunk --- and all the other albums after that
Yeah, I agree about Juan. He's just a very polite, classy guy. Robbin was the same too, very intelligent, well-spoken, thoughtful, and a really gentle soul. Off-topic, but what ethnicity is Stephen? He looks at least partly Native American.
I'm curious to know Stephen's ethnic background too. Can't find it anywhere and he sure doesn't look white.
SP is mexican. Friends called him the buck tooth mexican
Which "Steven" and this one looks like a transgender
Stephen Stephanie (split personality), Juan Juanita (same), Robbin Robyn, Bobby Roberta............Warren is just Ferris Bueller with a rocker wig
Who fucking cares ya weirdo
Warren DiMartini- Underrated guitar player.
Agreed...he was SO young
I went to Japan as a high school exchange student in 2005. thanx for uploading this!@ i love RATT my fave=) and robbin is my fave, i looovvee him ♥♥ ive looked for this for YEARS and havnt found it, so thanx!
Ratt is the best band ever. There, I said it.
back in 1984
Still stands in 2019
@Greg Hubbard so true also my time my music they never were close to best. I do like some of there songs. The eighties had so many great bands best time for music all generes period. But ratt the best no ay in hell.

Juan is such a good talker.
It’s amazing how Bobby Blotzer is just not included in a lot of these videos or any videos really. Even in their music videos he hardly ever gets any screen time. Drummer dissed again!
They were a great looking band...killer tunes, great show
Back when they were humble and liked each other.
Warren strikes me as a quiet guy, introvert who isn't a very good speaker. I admire him more now because I'm the same way, he's a big influence on my guitar playing.
I find guitarists to be shy, don't know why that is
When everyone was young AND happy. Well, at least outwardly.
It's to bad that they couldn't get along. The first two albums were good times, it seemed. But after that, everything went to hell in a hand basket! Robin Crosby had the world in his hands! But the drugs just took over! It really is a shame, because he was such a awesome talent!

Hard to watch in 2021 but in context of the time period and culture back in 85 this was BADASS
Nah..great to watch...makes you appreciate how less uptight people were back then and enjoyed life unlike today where people have a stick up their asses when it comes to being offended
Wow just got my youth back even if just for a bit
Awesome interview. Thanks for sharing.
So I always see those dolls of RATT members in these videos. Where on earth can I find one?! Warren DeMartini is my Idol, and that would be awesome to have!
They were made by their Japanese fans!
The dolls are cool for sure!
RATT was a crash and burn band. A perfect band for the 80s.
RATTNROLL 4 ever
RATT N ROLL IS HOW TO ROCK
Crosby was a big dude. That was a crazy vending machine thing he used
Warren 😍😍🤩🤩🥺🥺
This era of Ratt rules, in our opinion!
xoxo
The Clarences
Absolutely, Craig!
***** Awesome, Craig! xoxo The Clarences (Robert, Erin & Leslie)
Warren DeMartini was really the ideal hot band guy.
Agreed!! Hes the axe slinger!
Ben Stiller in Zoolander is just like Juan in this interview
anyone have a link for part 1 ?
Looking for that myself
Judging by their replies, that must've been a fun tour
I'm only 17 but I love old time rock culture n their styles, don't hate me for that
Can't find part 1 here on youtube...
3:00 What happened to clothes with any colour at all? God the 90s and beyond ...
warren is a dream
Their makeup is so perfect
1:47 "Warren DeMartini" got more handsome by age .-)
Agreed...he was so young
Where is the first part?
thats what im wondering
Ratt is hanging in there they have had some bad things happen and i admire them for holding the band together so please support them! And go see them live if you can. Your brother JET🦇
3:00 How I'd like to have shirts like the one Bobby has there. Now it's all black all the time. I think Blotzer had the best taste in clothes.
It doesn't take away the fact that Juan has no history of even thinking of having a boyfriend. He was a rather faithful husband to his wife, though, considering the lifestyle of 80's bands. LOL
It refers to the "You Think You're Tough" video. Isn't he in it?
Got to see them in speaking rock El Paso Texas last year were are getting old but they still rock
ratt cd have been one of the biggest rock bands ever.partying and infighting messed it up
Crosby. Nuff said.
I had this VHS tape
Juan has, to me, always seemed to be the most business oriented...
Atleast the video for Lay It Down was already done..
1000th like from this Ratt Gang..
Part 1 Link Anybody?
Rip Frankie Banali from Quiet Riot
So sad Robin Crosby passed.
Fun and simplistic in a way
AWESOME!!
I thought that was pretty cheeky when Stephen went to go kiss the cardboard cutouts by the Famicom poster, lmao.
If you can please reupload part1
Where are all the other parts?
Gold.
Bobby Flotzer with his metal version of Miami Vice outfit. Lol
Bobby Flotzer!! I believe there's a "B" somewhere in his last name!
@@bryanfauber3920 Bobby Flotzerb? :D
Juan is a great bandmate!
Best decade for rock was the 80s...a total blast haha
Part 1 ?
I just figured it out, remember in the video "You Think Your Tough" there's a very quick shot of Jake in that video,I mean it's less than a second towards the end of the song.I noticed none of the video's are on Pt. 1 or Pt.2 so that's why they listed him under Special Appearence.Oh Well Whatever huh.
So their songs are instrumentals with lyrics and vocals?
epocas de oro
RIP King
where is part 1? I had this video on vhs and someone stole it at a party
Part 1? I just read Stephens boot
@DARRINCONNOR1 yes i know all that but in part 1 of this video it says in the text that jake e lee is in the video,,,hes not in the video
Robin: "Alright...that outta do it". Pulling a huge king can of draft from a vending machine. Maybe that's why they called him King. I know, bad joke.
@EncryptedGod I got your message that you had watched it. something sad about Robin and that giant beer.
where is part 1??
fuck yeah ratt kicks ass. enough said
I wanna be that cardboard cut out
6:05 Stephen looked kinda Milli Vanilli/Terence D'Arby before they were around.
+StartabandRoxy Hahaha...Yeah, Stephen and RATT kinda had this " Pirate look thing" going on back then ! ARRR - Matey !
WolfHeavyMetal Not just pirate, just compare that look to D'arby and Vanilli.
Warren is the only one not wearing makeup off stage.
First heard round and round on vinyl
i miss robin
@rattmaster86 what's the deal with this special?
当時日本に来たとき見に行きました。。。。。
@EncryptedGod I see what you mean, but I think it's more that he's just a really lovely person :)
Something strange in the water in L.A. I think
Stephen looks off he's face😁
That one second counts. As do Carmine Appice and Herman Rarebell's seconds. Legally, they cannot not mention them.
@earlyblue MY BAD DUDE ,YOU'RE RIGHT THERE IS DEFINITELY NO "SPECIAL APPEARENCE" BY JAKE.I EVEN WATCHED VID AGAIN JUst to make sure.
