Best of West Maui things to do (Ka'anapali to Kapalua) will be published next week! Here is your FREE Maui Travel Guide: thehawaiivacationguide.com/maui-travel-guide/
I was just there a few days ago and stayed in Kihei! You guys have been invaluable in helping me plan a short vacation after a work trip in Oahu - I watched all of your videos. Went snorkeling in Molokini and turtle town, whale watching from Kihei boar ramp in a small raft, and did all the things you featured here except for the lava walk. Kihei has so many food trucks I couldn't try them all. I would spent sunset walking along the boardwalks and beach parks. The best part was kayaking on Oluwalu and having a very close encounter with the whales - it's the latest vid I uploaded on my YT. Thanks for all the information you shared here, it made the 4 days I spent in Maui pretty special.
Thanks again Jordan and Erica, was there in December 2023 and went to some of those places. Wished we had known earlier, but that’s for next time in Maui 🤙🏼
Just wanted to let you know your videos to Oahu were awesome and helpful. We look forward to using your videos to plan our trip to Maui and the Big Island. Thanx for all your awesome videos. You guys rock.
Ha! I am literally in Kihei right now, and Google suggested this to me. We spent most of our time exploring other parts of Maui (road to Hana, Aio, Paia, Upcountry) but have enjoyed the beaches and food here, including the same shave ice place. Get some great, healthy food at Hawaiian Moons, then walk across the road to sit at a picnic bench in the park and scan the water for whale spouts!
Sugar Beach Bakery is amazing!! Their Coconut Creme Pie is the best on the island for me!!! I would also recommend for Shave Ice in South Maui, Peace, Love and Shave Ice, its right around the corner from the food truck spot (the Argentinan truck is amazing) at the Maui Gardens.....
I too wanted to thank Jordan and Erica again, for making our trip to Maui this past November so enjoyable. We stayed in Kihei, and had such an incredible time. We visited Iao Valley, Haleakala, the road to Hana, and so many other amazing places. Some of our personal favorite places to eat were Maui Brewing Company, Huli Huli Chicken, Thai Mee Up, Gus The Bus/Ululani Shave Ice, Monkeypod- great happy hour deals, Nalus, Three's Bar, Kraken Coffee/Akamai coffee. So many great places to get food on Maui!
There are TWO Places you MUST visit in MAui...Hawaii Sea and Spirits ( Ocean Vodka) and Maui WIne!!!!! Both are MUST Stops and you will NOT be Sorry!! Great Hospitality and Views GALORE!!!
Those are great upcountry recommendations! Thanks for sharing. We have our favorite Upcountry things to do here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/things-to-do-upcountry-maui/
Do you mind if I ask how old your daughter was when she was on the sailing canoe tour? Going to Maui with our 2yo and this looks so fun but feel like she might be too little!
How old was your daughter in this video? We are going to South Maui in October with a 20 month old and wondering if the snorkeling tour is something she can come on with us (obviously not to snorkel, but to hang out)
Unless you are a large family, I'd recommend a hotel for your first trip. But you be the judge, see if any of these vacation rentals in Kihei look right for you: thehawaiivacationguide.com/best-vacation-rentals-kihei/
We stay in a different spot every time to check out new locations. We have reviews here on where we stay: thehawaiivacationguide.com/stay/ Enjoy the island hop!
Do they provide life vests for kids on the Maui Sailing Canoe? Also are kids 3 and under free (the website says it’s for 2+ but the kids’ pricing starts at 4)? I tried calling/emailing them but can’t get anyone to answer! Thanks!
Aloha Katherine, kids aged 3 and under are free. We share that discrepancy on our website, it is confusing! thehawaiivacationguide.com/activities/hawaiian-sailing-canoe/
Our baby was 2, 3 and under are free. Learn more and book directly with them here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/activities/hawaiian-sailing-canoe/ Thanks for subcribing Fanny!

Thanks for sharing! You definitely had a wonderful trip to Maui with all those things. February is the best in whale season!

More to do next time! Thanks for watching!
I'm flying in to Maui tomorrow. Can't wait.
Be in Kihei most of the time.
That’s great to hear! Enjoy your vacation. We appreciate how long you’ve watched and commented on our channel.
Lived in Maui with family for 5 years. Upcountry Kula. Beautiful place. Moved to Las Vegas back last August when maui was on 🔥. Crazy
This is timed perfectly. We'll be there next week! We're putting your guide to good use too. Thank you!
Enjoy the trip next week! Thanks for grabbing our itinerary!
Good stuff y’all🤙🏾
Kihei was so much fun. For me the snorkeling was my favorite hands down. But then again i love all of it. Kinda hard to tell. 😊
Kihei is a lot of fun. It has a lot of good snorkel spots along that coast. Underrated.

We’re glad you had a good trip to O’ahu and that our videos helped! Enjoy the trip planning for Maui and the Big Island. ❤️
Well done.
I liked and shared this video 📹 out your welcome Hawaii Vacation Guide ❤😊
Thanks so much! We love the support.

haha, I love that algorithm. Thanks for sharing your trip. You are doing it right! Thanks for the tip on Hawaiian Moons.
Hawaii ❤ I was on Kauai in November 2023. Thus is an amazing place.
Nalus is a must and from my experience they have the best Mac salad on the island. I tried it in a lot of places while in Maui and Nalus is #1.
Thanks for calling that out! Nalus is a great place and great for brunch. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing the tips!
We just returned. it was windy and cool the whole week. Same deal forecast for this west too.
The end of winter has been having some weather! I hope you still had a good trip!

Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you enjoyed Maui in November. We will have to check out Gus the Bus as I haven't been there.
We had our surf lessons with Maui Wave Riders and agree totally!
Professional And Fun.
It is great to hear you enjoyed the lesson!

I can't believe the Kihei Cafe didn't even get a mention! Best breakfast on Maui!
Yup. Great family run spot for breakfast and brunch and hands down the best cup of coffee on Maui. Cinnamon buns and veggie scramble die for.
Missing Maui so much!!!
We are renting a car next month, april 11, when we arrive via cruise ship.
Looking to visit South Maui and hopefully the free hula will be there.
Enjoy your cruise! The South Maui Garden Hula Show is $100 per adult. They have free hula shows at the Shops at Wailea at times.
Can you do an update on the Kaanapali area? Please
we have our Things to Do in West Maui next week but we always keep this updated: thehawaiivacationguide.com/lahaina-maui-fire-update/
Do you mind if I ask how old your daughter was when she was on the sailing canoe tour? Going to Maui with our 2yo and this looks so fun but feel like she might be too little!
She was two years old on the tour. She enjoyed it!
Not a lot going on around here.....sounds perfect to me.
How old was your daughter in this video? We are going to South Maui in October with a 20 month old and wondering if the snorkeling tour is something she can come on with us (obviously not to snorkel, but to hang out)
She was 24 months old. If you think your 20 month old can do it, then you know best!
Would you recommend for first time to Maui a airbnd or a hotel ?

Wasn't your house destroyed in the fire? How are you?
The family condo was burned down but we had moved out earlier. We are doing well and going back to Hawaii often.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide so happy you're safe, you can always rebuild.
Sad that maui burned in 2023 but I heard there re building it and we're ging this 2024 summer(maui is also my childs fav island
The town of Lahaina was lost but the rest of the island is open and welcoming visitors
How are the beaches in South Maui now? I believe a storm washed away the majority of sand on most of them.
It’s called winter swells, yeah this year is worse than others but there are still sand beaches in south Maui…
The sand is coming back quickly. Live cams show sand is there to walk the beach.

Noooo go to love peace shave ice
