As a broker I charge shippers $2,419.35 per square foot / $220.20 per cubic feet for Commodity - 8.5% to the drivers flat rate. I have to watch your video to get the specs again big bro. I got you. It is hard to charge for mile as a broker. You have to charge by the size. Now permits I do total weight of truck (25k) trailer (20k) and any over 40 tons I charge $0.04 per ton x mileage x pilot cars required

What happened to the other 13 axle trailer and is this Schnabel trailer landstars or urs!?
These brokers been posting loads and hoping a sucker jump on it and 9 times out of 10 they have someone hooked on their fish line.
The $33,000 load you still have to factor in the cost fof deadheading to pick the load up. There's been a few times the broker expected me to deadhead across the country for free. I bought my first Kozad from Blackwell in Dangerfield Texas.

How does somebody get into heavy haul?
With all the knowledge and hands on experience you have can you explain why you choose to run under Landstar’s authority vs getting your own? I’m sure Landstar is keeping at least 10% of your line-haul. I’m thinking you stick with them for the connects but by now I would think you would have enough of your direct shippers plus you’d be more willing to work the load boards as well.
