THANKS FOR WATCHING - Развлечения
Once you get used to loading excavators, you can use the inside of the track and use the boards on your trailer as a guide
The guys there told me that after the fact I started getting the hang of it to the end even switch to using my hands instead of my feet
Rule of thumb when loading equipment use the lowest power setting and always use the hand controls .
Load or unload everything at a idle. We ain’t in no hurry.
Congrats to you, pops and your lady on this new level you have unlocked.
Thank you 🙏🏾
Man you don’t even know how amazing this is to watch!! I started as a Non CDL Hotshot, have jumped up to a Ram 4500 with a 30K trailer with air ride. Then next step in about 2 years, a nice used truck so I can run a 6 axle RGN setup to haul heavy machinery, autoclave tanks, etc. and then bump up to a 9 axle a few years after that. I hope I can fulfill my journey, and watching your videos helps!
I’m so proud of y’all as a team fam! Truly a definition of what true growth is out here in this trucking world. I’ve been following you along the journey from hotshots to heavy hauling and bro y’all have been learning and killing it 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏾
Your story is very inspirational. Thank you for taking us along and showing it can be done! Best wishes and stay safe!
Thank you !
Happy Father's Day bro I'm glad to see another brother out here doing something positive. Keep on trucking :)
Hell yeah Bennii!!! So amazing seeing you guys grow in the trucking business and giving us so much inspiration to keep chasing our own dreams. Much love and respect 🙏🏼 🫡
Thank you
Yes sir, doing big things. I think other people mentioned some of these tips already but just for the hell of it, I'll throw em out. I haul these machines pretty much weekly(this exact machine actually). Easiest way to load is line up your inside track on the 2 board, won't even have to worry about the passenger side. And you'll start to learn the same thing on various machines. It'll take some practice but once you get the hang of what you're looking at, it's much easier only looking at one side. Also, try to get used to using ONE hand on the controls for loading. Inside palm for right side and thumb for left side. Much, much smoother transitions rather than using both hands on controls. Keep an eye on overhang measurements on your permits. Our permits usually allow for 13'6" of overhang but yours could be different. Also on these long reach machines, our DOT up here in PA likes to see two chains over the stick. One close to the bucket like you have, and another somewhere over the axles on the trailer. The main boom and stick are very heavy and throwing a second chain eliminates any bouncing and ultimately wear and tear on your trailer. We all started somewhere! Be safe and vigilant!
Yessssirrrr been hear since the hotshot days. It’s blessing to see you and your family grow like this very proud of you and your family. From none cdl to heavy hauling
Well we never did non CDL always had a CDL . But yea the growth has been real
This has been a wonderful journey for me watching you and your father continue to grow through the years this a a great success story
Not quite there yet but it definitely has been a journey so far ! Thanks for the support over the years
Big Congrats Homie🎉🎉🎉 Definitely Motivation For Us in the Industry Keep That Grind Going 🫡🫡💯
I will
Congrats on dreaming big and showing that it can be done with the good the bad and the in-between. Thanks for showing it can be done.
No problem !!
Yeah bruh your correct, the trailer brake has to be released in order to supply air for operation. When on an incline or decline it would be good to have some heavy duty chock blocks to chock the wheels of the trailer while allowing the trailer time to reach maximum air operating capacity. Big ups to you for challenging yourself to learn all you can in this industry. It will prepare you for unforseen scenarios and give you an advantage over others that have one dimensional expirence. You did a good job for your first time loading heavy track equipment. Stay safe and keep your head & eyes on swivel.
I’m proud of you and pops bro stay safe ✊🏾
Will do you too !
Proud of y'all Bro .I've been watching since the beginning ,so I know where you started! Much ❤ keep going up!
That’s real !! 🔥🤙🏾
Hard work pays off bro! I run reefers, but plan on diving into deck real soon.
I heard reefer was good to though
Congratulations, Bro!! Keep pushing!!
My guy congrats your def growing, learning an doing ya thing! Keep at it ✊🏾
Much respect to your hustle bro! It still amazes me how many guys out here don’t know how to do anything except drive though 🤦🏽♂️. You doing way better than me so I can’t even hate, is what it is
This dope bro! I’m back motivated 💪🏾
Yep usevtge inside of tracks to center it on trailer then put unit in the middle of trailer useing the light just like centering a flatbed load I was leased to bennett motor heavy haul did alot of those an other stuff stretch trailers alot of laws have changed from back then
You already know this big dawg just a reminder, these loads have to pay right 24/7 allot of responsibility and work to do it right, never feel rushed or in people’s way, stay safe💪💪🙏
Yes sir happy for you my guy keep striving for greatness and the blessings will keep coming all love my guy💪🏾💪🏾
Facts !! Thank you !!
Watching this is pure motivation 💯
much love buddy i think you and your pops doing great trying to start my own hotshot and love this channel. great shit looking forward to the next one!
Appreciate it !! And I hope you get up and running soon
Congratulations guys power 🆙 is the 🔑
Yessir
From hot shot to heavy hauling 👊🏼salute!
Facts !!
I always use the boards on the trailer for guides on the insides of the tracks , you will never have to get out.
Good job Benni, I think I saw you at Loves in Salisbury NC this morning on my way out, didn't get a chance to say hi. Keep the Vlogs coming. We need the motivation.
That was me
Crazy you pick that heavy haul load up from Belmont nc I was just in that area
😬😬😬😬
Hot shot you done dam good shifting the old pete she sounds good good job on everything be safe out there everything changes now when hauling big stuff you got a good set up go make that bag
Thank you !! I’m going to do more driving povs did you enjoy that ?
@@truckingwithbennii you have come a long way keep doing your thing
I feel you. I had to learn the same way.
Good ass job Benni definitely did your thing 🎉
Appreciate
Keep doing ya thang you gonna master it God got ya back
Definitely 👍🏾 thank you 🔥💪🏾
So happy for you Beni, my dad and I just finished building a 09 386 with a 3406 cat engine and a 13 spd and I bought a 35ton dd. im starting next week! CANT WAIT!
and ive also only had my cdl since may '22 13 months now!
Go crazy then !! What made you go DD ?
Alright Benni, I see ya! Cant wait to get me ah truck.
What’s going on bro congratulations and welcome to the HEAVY HAUL side. Just a little FYI even though you're under 80,000 the axles still have to be legal weight. just remember when your over 34,000 on the trailer you need the third axle down to scale out the 34,000 and the center of your well is your turn signal. I’m out of Atlanta as well, maybe one day I get to link up with you on the road.💪🏾
Why would he need the 3rd flip down ? Each of those axle he can get 20k on. So with just the 2 axle would be rated for 40k and he scaled at 34k @teddygardner3282
A few tips if you will.
1.trailer had no air until you release the trailer brakes. Otherwise it would be leaking when you are bobtailing.
2 you need a sock for the exhaust on equipment. It turns the turbo otherwise without oil which damages it.
3 signs and lights others have commented on.
4 overhang is only meant to be if trailer is out of room. I understand the weight on the axle thing though. You did not mention what your axle weights were. Or I missed it.
Steers 11240
Tandems 48520
Tri 53300
MAy the Spirit of God continue to keep you focus and remember you are God blessed!
Man y’all boys moving fast… congrats big time !!!!!🎉🎉
Really slow
@@truckingwithbennii either way y’all getting to the real money 💰
Motivation !!! 💯💪🏾
Lights could be something simple like your plug not fitting nice and snug or a lose wire behind the female hook up.. when a fuse goes out lights usually just go completely out no flickering.. good luck out driver been following you and your pops for a while now 💯
you got me hype for you with this new trailer ive been waiting for this vid
Did you enjoy it ?
@HotShot Bennii great video....your realness shines through as always thats what I like most.
If your going to haul heavy a height pole is definitely smart investment safe travels ✌🏾
Facts
Sure looks Exciting bro !
It does
That's dope Bennii
🔥🔥😎
On the big ones if you get the middle of the tracks on the edge it should be straight every time
Yes sir!! Good for you!$$🎉🎉 big boi!
Another great video bro! Yeah I seen you at your delivery of this forklift, maybe i will holla at you next time you’re there 💪🏽
Aww shit you were in the other rgn ?
@@truckingwithbennii no Sir not yet 😂 I was in the grey box truck….. I rode right past you when you were disconnecting the trailer, you were actually getting out of your truck 😂 I wasn’t trying to stare (no homo) 😂 but I was like thats my guy Hot shot Bennii! Sorry for the delay in response I just got out of Church 😂
Use the insides of the tracks as a guide. If the left inside is one wood between left inside track and center left beam then the right inside track should be the same.
One more thing man…I see you usin some bungees with your red flags.
They sell some flags with some heavy duty magnets that work a lot better in my opinion. Both are useful for sure though for different situations. Check out other loads at the truck stop on how they tie down loads. I learned a lot by asking questions from other drivers and checking out their loads. Again love what y’all are doin.
Damn you gotta load it yourself! That’s crazy
Not really if you've ever hauled heavy equipment, load or unload at remote spots, o.d. or some dry & liquid bulk materials, there may not always be personnel from the shipper and or consignee on location.
love watching your videos man top notch to you. shout out from Trinidad and Tobago
Appreciate that 🔥
@@truckingwithbennii np bro i love heavy haul stuff that truck is going to need a 4th axle soon lol
Hey, congratulations on the trailer not to be negative but you might wanna redesign the ramps because if you ever pull another trailer and have to slide forward, they’re gonna catch the frame rail of your trailer again, congratulations
AWESOME VIDEO WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST !! ✊✊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Thank you !!
You guys are making it happen. May Jesus be with you out here.
May he
Bro I just saw you heading north on 85 around exit 43 with this excavator around 6:30 Sunday 💪🏾 I hollered at you on the CB!
Damn I didn’t hear it !! 🔥🔥🔥my dad behind me
@@truckingwithbennii made my damn day bro!!! One of these days I hope to get to meet you and Pops. We got some weak CB’s in these TMC trucks but I noticed the excavator and then saw the logo on the side of the truck 💪🏾
Man i Been waiting on this video since i seen the clip on the gram 💪🏾💪🏾💯
Lmao how did you like the video?
I loved it man 💯💯 you know on a trailer like that you have outriggers that you can put boards on if you feel like you're sticking out too far. Just something to remember for future reference
Imagine hauling almost that weight in fuel. God Bless you brother
You have more confidence using the hand controls when loading heavy equipment.
Yea I realized that towards the end the hand controls were much smoother
Congratulations. Keep rolling.
Yessir
Could you have spun the boom around to the front and put the weight more on the trailer axles? Or not enough room? That would get the weight of the counterweight off the neck.
For future loads when ur chaining down the bucket I wouldn’t chain around the hydraulic cylinder but ur doin awesome just found ur videos loving the content so far gotta play catch up tho lol be safe out there from one driver to another
Thanks for the tip
Make some pov trucking videos if u can that camera angle was dope same with a mirror cam if u can
also great video btw enjoyed it
Bet !!
Great video My Guy💯
Glad you enjoyed it
You doing great bro keep going the first few loads always the hardest then you find your grove.
Be safe and make money doing blessing
Facts thank you 🙏🏾 🔥🔥🤙🏾
Can’t you adjust you’re leveling bags too give you some more height on your airbags? Maybe more clearance for how low the trailer was sitting?
Keep hauling bro
I was put in one of those and just given the keys too before lol
LMFAO MAN IT WAS WILD !!!
Great job fella
Appreciate that
Awesome job👍👍
Bro put a couple morning chains on the back because them tracks are sketchy and you need enough securement to cover the weight of the machine(50%)
I have 4 binders that are directly hooked 2 in front 2 in back
Then I have 2 extra chains in the back
And 1 chain holding the bucket
I’m covering 44,000 with the binders alone
@@truckingwithbennii hooking the binders or chains to the Machine is considered a Direct Tie Down which DOT cuts the rating of the securement in 1/2.....I've been doing this Heavy Haul since 2008 Bro, trust me if DOT inspects u its gonna be an OOS.....but u can do what you want
Direct tie down for a binder you get the full wLL which I have 15,000 binders . Even if you cut that binder in half bro with what your saying that’s 7500 x 4 which is 30000 plus the two chains in the back I have with the binder plus the chain over the bucket . I think I’m good
Keep going big dawg
Will do
Did you have to change the coverage on your insurance when you switched to the rgn?
show us some driving and shifting
#Nice keep doing your thing 💪🏿
I will appreciate the motivation
Another tip line up the boards and always use your hands for track controls when going on or off the trailer
Okay !! I did that towards the end and it did make it easier I just didn’t know if I was damaging my trailer with the way it sounded once I was on the front end
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Salute Bro
🔥💪🏾💪🏾
Iron mike sharp has a lot of securement videos on his page he halls, heavy haul two out of North Carolina
Bet
I just saw you brother with that big load on your back keep it safe out there
You need to install some caution lights yellow lights on your tractor by law if you're going to do heavy haul
Probably your marker light relay happened to me the other day
That’s what it was !
Run it up paid is every day,,, let goooo super happy for u
Appreciate that 🔥🤙🏾
Talk about the bread
I had a surprise like this one day went from Syracuse ny to Maryland MD talk about a long ride and I was 133,000 lbs permits suck as they bring you down the absolute roughest roads ever
only look where you want to go, dont be distracted concentrate on it. when loading equipment .
Let’s Go!!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
🔥🔥🔥🤙🏾
Sometimes the app shorts or times out you got to exit the app and reload it.
Okay bet because it was giving me issues that day
Good stuff big guy
Appreciate it
You need flashing lights on the tractor and trailer
I have both
Your in my state sirrr. I'm looking into getting into End dumping with a 6 axle do you think it's to much with 6 axles or I'm golden 🤔
Really debating on getting a truck. Well not on getting a truck. I’m getting one. Just don’t know if ima buy a cash truck or lease one
Steel rgn has a way of catching wires is that a trail king?! If u feel that trailer behind u empty I’d assume you have 3.36’s for rearends
3.70 gears ⚙️
Hey try to put more weight on the truck when you can. Start all the way forward and adjust it back if you need to
You mean most of the weight on the tri axles
@@truckingwithbennii I mean start out with the weight towards the truck. If you’re over on the drives, move it back. You would rather have the weight be more towards the truck if you can. Overall drives better, brakes better and keeps the truck from getting/feeling light.
Also, props for the jump! Been watching you since your hot shot days and dealing with the coffee County scales lol
What’s the fuel mileage like Beni?
You’ve came a long way since the time you tried to fix a flat tire on your hotshot with silicone 😝
😂😂MAN I WAS DESPERATE SHEESH LET IT GO
@@truckingwithbennii 🤣all in fun my man. Love your channel and what y’all are doing.
Oh god now the rates for heavy haul are going to go down
They actually been down . Rates everywhere suck man
Luv it!!!
Loving it
Im at the loves 2 times a week
💪🏾💪🏾
How you get into this type of work. And could this be a local job?
Good job.
Thank you
