Since you were so excited about the 2003 Peterbuilt and the price is probably less expensive---that would probably be your best choice, but you need to have your mechanic check it out and the mileage is also very important.and the cosmetic appearance is key---at the end of the day, you gotta like what you drive----you spend the majority of your life in that truck---GOOD LUCK---hope your choice is going to treat you right!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@edwardtye4119 explanation to why it's a "she" is because a boat and now truck is because people are inside the ship/boat or truck. So it's like a mother and you are in the womb. It takes care of you til your destination. Hence why it's a "she". No clue on why cars are called "he". Could be from France or Spain how the vocabulary affected English. Or no other reason than people just calling it for as a "he".

being able to touch all states makes sense for a small biz, you will not be self limiting yourself. I would make a decision on the horsepower, and rear ends, since you run open deck 336 342 is a good range, 500hp or better. longer wheelbase is always better but you can change that with no effort if its too short... NO ELECTRICAL ISSUES!!! that will drive you crazy especially with an older truck. I prefer W900l, but a Pete is just classic and you can't go wrong. "Drive On Driver" I'll see you out there...Q

Get the blue one get a oil sample on it to see if there any metal in the oil let it idle for about an hour pull the dipstick and see if you got the blowback and see if it's pushing water if not that's the one to go with

I know exactly where you were at soon as I saw the intro. Hopefully one day I get to ship with them. On another note… Go with the white 03’ Pete. It fit you first off, and secondly, @HotshotHaven recommended it in your comments. And if anybody know Pete’s, it’s Mr Jonathan Butler, aka The Hotshot Haven. Get the 03’. Damn California!😂

New to channel. Bro, Both of those tractors are pimping ! I loved the interior of the White tractor. Get the glass replaced and BAM ! Plus ....MORE ROOM ! But than you have a newer tractor with D.E.F.'s. Which is an extra expenses. Would you be getting better rates with that extra expense ? How often do you plan on hitting the West Coast ? If rates fall...would you still run West or stay closer to home, with that extra un-need expense? Bigger Bunk vs better fuel and D.E.F. expense on a new tractor.
Man, Buy the White tractor and take United Airlines to the West Coast and relax on a beach.

Mechanics point of view the 2003 Just due to the less wiring and sensors and easier to work on but if your going to California I understand we’re the 2013 could be beneficial.

I thought I wanted a long hood Pete with that awesome sound... but for the price you are paying for all that extra noise in the cab - small cab at that, you could do much better. I bought a 2010 387 with a 13 speed, ISX and 3.55 gears. Just installed a Green APU yesterday and after a full in-frame, I'll still have less invested than either of those trucks. And a 387 will likely get better MPG. My cab at the doors is only 4" narrower than the sleeper. Talk about a roomy cab! Yeah, I sure wanted a 379 or W900, but at the end of the day, this is a business. Please drive some aero trucks and see what you think about them. My 2010 isn't going to Commiefornia so I'm not worried about that aspect of it. I want nothing to do with anything that uses DEF!!!
