The best investment one can do right now is investing on real estate though stocks are good but ever since I swapped to real estate, I've seen so much difference.
Great video; only thing I would add is to value your time. If you planned on doing something then get it done, and don't let other less important things get in the way.
I only eat out for lunch when I am alone and promise myself to buy lunch and talk real estate to the person behind me. Sometimes they will eat with you. Nothing better than bonding with food. haha This led to 2 listings and 1 buy last year. #worthit to me at least
Okay sounds good and all but how do you just talk real estate with the person next to you This comes easier to some then others. Im not afraid to talk to strangers its more how do you get into a real estate discussion out of nowhere..this is a skill I need help in 😁
I have msde friends with and studied our top producers. Much to my shock they do NO social media except post a listing, they do not use RUclips, they don't door knock (ever) and they often have new agents do their open houses. Yes, they mostly handle listings but it seems our top producers have built a business that runs on referrals and repeat customers so I have found them too be a great help in processes and procedures but they don't have to do start a real estate business in 2017 so they use (or will advise) what worked for them... 10-15 years ago with the best of intentions but the internet is pretty much ignored. Not what I expected,
Great video and good advice about having a mentor. I think having a mentor is good no matter what business you are in. A good mentor can help you reach success more quickly.
Awesome video. It’s very true .. when you surround yourself with people that have goals, it really motivates you to keep your goals and get them done. I cannot tell you how many times I had to turn off my phone or put phone on silence to get things done.
Love this video and your page! I will definitely refer people to you if they're looking that way. I moved from Southern California to Portland 3 years ago, so I'd love any Oregon referrals in return! ☺ Thank you!
Hi Loida! Thanks for sharing your tips for us rookie agents. Every bit of knowledge nugget you give is gold! I’ll reach out to your email to discuss some business opportunities in Austin, TX. Thanks again, keep up the good work!!
I agree with all of these except not networking with other agents. Sure limit your time off but rubbing elbows with other agents can help in the sense of if you ever do a deal with them knowing them will be beneficial. It can be isolating to not ever hang out with other agents. I’ve learned so many tips by having lunch with successful agents once and a while. But I hear you all in moderation.
Loida, not sure if anyone has mentioned this to you, but your link for Coaching does not work. Other than that I am happy I have subscribed to your channel, lots of great advice and support to those on the same journey in Real Estate! Thank You!
Hi Loida, can you recommend a mentor or who can be a mentor? Thank you so much for all your videos, I am a new agent and your videos are very helpful. Keep it up 👍🏼
I'm actually about to watch your other video about being a finder, I could use some advice on how to start a business page and load the property on there to show buyers or sellers from a online point of view, I'm just experiencing a set back and really want to get ahead and I believe this is something to get into?
Hi Loida! I’m from Houston, TX My real estate exam is scheduled for tomorrow, I’m extremely excited. There is one thing though that makes me nervous, I am 25 years old but I look very young for my age. I’m told that I look like I’m 17-18. I wonder if that would affect me when I go door to door or when people meet me since I look so young. Majority of the real estate agents I meet in Houston are over 35. Do you have any tips on how I can be taken seriously once I’m out there?
Just practice and master your scripts/objection handlers sooo good that you come off like an expert and they don't even question you about your age. People that "look young" believe they'll be questioned how old they are and not be taken serious.. and in reality all people care about is that you can get the job done and they can trust you.
Check your MLS or simply look for yard signs if you are not already an agent. Another way is to check Zillow. Type find an agent and many of the top producers will be premier agents.
I am still working on it but on hold right now. Need to file a FD just to make I can continue with my classes. any suggestion or advice is welcome. thank you and great video
Regarding a mentor, would that always have to be another agent in person, or can it also be another successful agent that you can only communicate with through social media/emails etc...??
Great tips! Is setting an appointment and becoming a home owners agent more difficult than selling their home? I am drawing interest in maybe doing this but would only know how to go out for tacos at this point. Thanks!
Good question. Most stats show very very little. I made hardly anything. But do not let that discourage you. You can make a lot if you do the right things. It is all about learning the skills.
Do you recommend that your mentor is in the same brokerage as you? I just started and I know someone who could be my mentor but is in another brokerage.
I’m in process of getting my license for Fl. Do I have to be GQ model beautiful perfect or can I be awesome on the inside too? (P.s. I won’t be in Miami area)
Hi Loida, do you or Bryan have any videos that speak over the contracts... I'm kinda nervous on how to handle them. BTW, Im going for my test in December 1!!
Great video! Great content! Thank you so much for all the valuable tips! I’m currently waiting for my license to come in. I’m in Las Vegas. How would you recommend we find the top agents in our market. I don’t have a mentor or know of anyone in real estate. So I appreciate your videos
I’m a 21 year old wanting to get into the real estate business. I met with a broker/real estate agency & they said I needed to save money to invest & Incase I don’t sell anything for a while. I’ll use the money I have saved for bills/expenses. How much money do you think I should have saved? I’m so scared of quitting my job to be able to do this and me fail because of my lack of income, please if anyone knows how much I should atleast have saved or what I can do to have income while waiting for a house to sell please help me out, thanks I’m advance 🙏🏻

Very true! So many people waste time daily.

What do you think about hiring a marketing agency for my business (real estate agent)
If you are new I would say no. If you already are doing a ton of business and can afford the expense then it may be worth it.

Do you recommend that your mentor is in the same brokerage as you? I just started and I know someone who could be my mentor but is in another brokerage.

Me as a realtor is it ethical to give people referral fees? And how much should that be?

Try working with rentals.
When I first started I worked in rentals first. Faster way to make income in most cases. Also, I feel like saving 6 months of expenses is a good idea.
Thank you so much for the information y’all!
@@ithzel7928 how is it going now? I’m in the same boat as you!
I just quit my full-time job last week to go full-time as a realtor. I saved 8 months.
