the rise, dawn and war of the planet of the apes (the reboot movies)
😇
@@King.Cinephile spam bot
How could you put kingdom ahead of rise
The best one is rise in my opinion then war then kingdom then dawn
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes to me is my personal favorite out of all of em!
Agreed!
I rewatched them all leading up to kingdom and after watching
DAWN. I was like damn that one is really a whole masterpiece lol
Definitely. Caesar in his prime and Koba the best villain of the franchise. That scene where the Apes attack the human stronghold in the city is absolutely nuts.
agree
1968’s ‘Planet of the Apes.’ 😁
‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes.’ 🙂
‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.’ 😄
‘War for the Planet of the Apes.’ 😏
‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.’ 🙂
My top 5 most favorite movies in the whole ‘Planet of the Apes’ franchise…
Dawn is better than Rise
This is undeniably the true ranking
@@jmurdock8303 I strongly disagree. Rise and War are better
@@Pedroramossss Much better action, story , Villain
@@jmurdock8303 Matt Reeves did an awesome job on them
War, Rise, Dawn and Kingdom. I don't think another Ape movie can top War but we shall see...
Dawn, Rise, and the original were better than War.
War is the Best of the newest trilogy
Dawn, Rise, War, Kingdom*
@@PedroramossssI found Dawn better than War.
@@johnathanholmes1297 but you are wrong
My ranking:
1) War
2) Original
3) Rise
4) Dawn
5) Escape
6) Kingdom
7) Conquest
8) Beneath
9) 2001 Remake
10) Battle
You put Dawn wayyy too low
war should've been called 'vengeance' as there really was no real war and all about caesars final revenge journey.
@@D0NTREPLYyeah; such a misleading title. Also, at the end of Dawn, Caesar said to the human: “the war has already begun”. I was expecting some epic final battle between the Apes and Humans but instead we got…something else. I thought it was a bit anti-climatic and while it handled Caesar’s character so well, the movie didn’t do much with any of the other characters unlike Dawn.
Still going strong since 1968! Awesome sci-fi franchise!
I'm still impressed by those 2001 practical ape effects. A dying art since cgi took over instead of just being used where necessary
We finally got this!!!
The original 1968 motion picture will always be my number one favorite.
😊
Agree, not only a favorite POTA film I love but also one of my favorite Charlton Heston film along with Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur.
I just watched Kingdom, and it very good. I had my doubts, but it did surpass my expectations, which I did not see that coming.
Proximus Caesar's men introduction was such an intense and scary scene to watch. It felt like it came straight out of a horror movie like The Wolfman 2010
I love War,Dawn,Escape,Kingdom and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. All are my Top Five favorites. But I still got to include the very first film (1968) who started it all.
Who?
@@gaki8844 the very first movie back in 1968! Planet of the Apes.
I like the planet of the apes TV series from the early 70s. It didn't last long but it's a super underrated show.
Agree absolutely loved it. Obscenely criminally underrated and was very bummed out when it got cancelled.
I love Conquest. It's very easily the best of the original sequels.
And the ending of the original is the single greatest ending in film history.
Until beneath ruined it by continuing right after the ending.
Isn't there only 10 planet of the ape films as of now?
Thought there were only 3 or 4
@@furkanbozdag8198 the og 1968 planet of the apes has 5 films. there was a 2001 remake with mark Wahlberg. Than another remake in 2011 rise of the planet of the apes which got 2 sequels than recently a sequel to war came out kingdom of the planet of the apes
There are 4 in the newest reboot series. There are 5 in the original series and one reboot before the newest reboot. It gets confusing.
@@theaveragegamer7952they are all considered to be in different universes right
The Tim Burton film is a separate continuity. The current series are a reboot that will lead to the events of the original movie, but they do play with the continuity a bit.
My top five are Original, Rise, Kingdom, Dawn, & War. I even do have a soft spot for the Tim Burton one. Funny that before Ted & Transformers, Mark Walhberg was dealing with metamorphic Apes.
Awesome 🤩very entertaining 😅
awesome job about Planet of the Apes Movies from Top 10
You Should Do An "All Middle-Earth Movies Ranked", a ranking of the LOTR and Hobbit Movies.
the hobbit trilogy sucked, the end
@@MrDarthryan Hmm... I think they were good.
@@MrDarthryan You should watch The Rings Of Power lmaooo maybe you'll like them more
@@MrDarthryan They didn't suck. They just weren't LOTR quality, which btw, are some of the greatest films of all time. Given the limited timeline, PJ did great with the Hobbit. Y'all such ingrates lmao, nothing can really top LOTR. Just appreciate what y'all getting.
I’m glad you guys liked Conquest bc it’s my favorite of the original sequels to Planet of the Apes
After ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, they decided to make 5 more movies in the future.
They already have nine planed films including kingdom so meaning we’re going to get a third trilogy after the current one
@@kevingame3198 True
You guys said the same things two different ways lmao
I mean they can easily take this to the point of remaking the original as part of the new series and beyond if they remove the whole planet buster thing :P
Kingdom was cool but around 20 minutes too long.
Escape hit you in the feels.
1. Dawn
2. War
3. Rise
4. Kingdom
5. OG
6. Escape
7. Conquest
8. Remake
9. Battle
10. Beneath
It's a pretty solid list!!!!!! 100% Agree
No shit!? Rod Sterling helped write the original planet of the apes!? I'm a huge twilight zone fan!!
Only seen the latest 4:
War > Rise > Kingdom > Dawn
Haveing war at 3 is a crime
Planet of The Apes 2001 will always be my favorite. Especially with Thad(e?) interacting with his family. lol or the side characters doing stuff.
“How many times do I have to tell you to wear gloves when handling the humans?!”
“Don’t start! We are off duty and I’m starving!”
I could go on and on about this movie! Yes I do love Rise, Dawn, War and Kingdom. I never saw the original trilogy so I have no idea if I like them or not
I always kept switching between the OG, Rise, and Dawn. But after rewatching the franchise, Dawn is definitely my favorite of the franchise.
IMO the original is considered the best because of nostalgia. The new series surpasses it in every way.
100% this list was awful
😮RM - and IMO, the newer series is only considered better to younger people because they're "modern". The 1968 original (and 70s sequels) surpasses the new ones in every way.
@@MeanMrMayo I don’t think recency bias has nearly the sway of nostalgia. No one in claiming the Star Wars sequels or Rings of Power show are the best in their respective franchises.
@@RM618h True here with APES too, as your original point was specifically aimed at the 1968 original film, which a large majority of younger rankers still rightly place at the Top, while also being willing to place other '70s movies lower. The original series still set the template, and many ideas - and dialogue - and characters - are taken from that first series (such as RISE and DAWN).
Culture impact. Nothing in the newer films is as iconic as the original ending or the chase scene or stinkin paws scene
Your top 5 is my top five. Though, I might have flipped four and five.
Have to say the 2010 reboot triology was such a good step in the right direction
I know I should say the original is the best, but I think I prefer Dawn and War more (War being my favourite) and while I did like Kingdom, I still think Rise is better. The rest I pretty much agree with, though I would probably put Battle ahead of the Burton remake.
Preferring War over Dawn is crazy to me. Each to their own I guess
1) War
2) Original 1968
3) Dawn
4) Rise
5) Kingdom
6) Beneath
7) Escape
8) Conquest
9) Battle
Agree with the list although I'd have War at number 2 but that's a personal preference.
I was PRAYING for Dawn to be number 1, Cuz it's my personal favourite movie of all time. But I was kind of expecting the first movie to be number 1, cuz it's kind of typical at this point
The 2010s Planet Of The Apes movies were my introduction to the franchise
The 2011 Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes was a staple of my childhood
And rewatching Dawn and War made me appreciate those two movies more
Kingdom was also pretty good
All Hail Caesar!!
Watch mojo: Do you agree with our list?
Me: NOO!!
The original movie and the all of the movies released since 2011 are by far the best ones in the franchise.
I really love the new quad-rilogy and i feel that Noa will be a great new protagonist😊
My personal ranking (I haven’t seen Kingdom yet)
1. Dawn
2. War
3. Rise
4. 1968 original
5. Escape
6. Conquest
7.2001 remake
8. Beneath
9. Battle
The recent trilogy needs to be top 3
My Planet of the Apes Franchise Ranking:
1. War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) 10/10
2. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) 10/10
3. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) 10/10
4. Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) 10/10

5. Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) 10/10
7. Conquest for the Planet of the Apes (1972) 7/10
8. Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) 6/10
9. Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973) 1/10
10. Planet of the Apes (2001) 1/10

1. The Original
2. War
3. Dawn
4. Rise
5. Kingdom
6. Escape
7. Conquest
8. Beneath
9. Battle
10. Remake
I think Dawn is the best out of these movies
The original Planet Of The Apes and Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes are the best.
Dawn, War and Kingdom were very good. And Escape and Conquest were ok.
And don’t get me started on the Tim Burton version.
You forgot about Beneath and Battle.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is awesome
“Spaceballs! There goes the neighborhood.”
1. War (great)
2. Dawn (incredible)
3. Rise (amazing)
4. Kingdom (amazing)
From watching the apes wearing armor in the 2001 film makes me wonder they would do Game of Thrones.
I love Tim Burton, but his Planet of the Apes was just hard to bear. I don't even think it deserves to be on the list. Personally, the original Planet of the Apes will always be my favorite over all of them. I was so childishly in love with Linda Harrison's Nova! 😄
The classic movie of the planet of the apes number one totally agree that long time ago the first movie planet of the apes.
Me after watching the video: It’s a madhouse! A MADHOUSE!!
War is so underated lot of people didn't like that movie
Dawn is the best of them all. Followed by War. Then the original.
1) Dawn
2) War
3) Original 1968
4) Rise
5) Kingdom
6) Conquest
7) Battle
8) Beneath
9) Escape
10) Burton

Original has to go at 4 for me and Kingdom at 5, the Caesar trilogy is just elite
Personally i feel the 2011 rise of the planet of the apes is the best of the lot. So many rewatchable moments.
I already have the first 9 planet of the apes movies on dvd for the first 5 plus the documentary and mostly on blu ray and the last trilogy on 4k in a much larger 9 film set celebrating 50 years of the movies.
Here's my ranking:
10. Beneath the Planet of the Apes
9. Battle for the Planet of the Apes
8. Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes
7. Escape from the Planet of the Apes
6. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
5. Conquest of the Planet of the Apes
4. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
3. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
2. War for the Planet of the Apes
1. Planet of the Apes (1968)
the more i think about it planet of the apes is one of the first franchises that started without a plan, like sure the planet was earth was a great twist but after that the sequels became dumber and dumber until the reboot film, or how i call them "the caesar timeline" actually have a plan and for better or worse it still have quality in each entry and they still can make good movies from it if they know the endgame for this.
I haven’t watched this yet, but I’m confused by the title. There are only 10 Planet of the Apes movies, so…
There’s also the Fairly Odd Parents Planet of the Apes
Planet of the Apes [1968] is a legend movie.
The fact they put kingdom over rise is just insulting
1.Dawn
2.kingdom
3.rise
4.war
My ranking.
Dawn of the Planet of the Ape
Planet of the Ape
War of the Planet of the Ape
Rise of the Planet of the Ape
Beneath the Planet of the Ape
I will watch the rest when I can.
12:15 Called it!
My top five:
5. Kingdom
4. War
3. Rise
2. OG
1. Dawn
The modern are good but ill always rock with the classic pota
The Andy serkis trilogy is my favorite planet of the apes
I also have the first 5 planet of the apes movies on vhs tapes but unfortunately I can't play them because my vhs tape player broke
It was thought provoking to say the least.
Here’s how you should’ve ranked the movies…
1. War for the Planet of the Apes (Best Of All Time)
2. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (Best Of All Time)
3. Planet of the Apes (1968) (Awesome)
4. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (Awesome)
5. Rise of the Planet of the Apes (Great)
6. Escape from the Planet of the Apes (Okay)
7. Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (Meh)
8. Beneath the Planet of the Apes (Bad)
9. Planet of the Apes (2001) (Awful)
10. Battle for the Planet of the Apes (Awful)
Terrible list.
@@MeanMrMayo Back Off!
My Top 5:
1- War
2- Dawn
3- 1968
4- planet of apes 2001
5- Rise
I feel like not having dawn as first is criminal
Caesar:"For Charlton Heston!!!"😠
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is my favorite overall and of the reboot series
Conquest of the Planet of the Apes is my favorite of the original series
Beneath The Planet of The Apes is way too underrated. I can’t believe it’s that low of this ranking.
Planet of the Apes Trilogy is inspired in The Dark Knight Trilogy
I like Beneath and Conquest better than Escape. Those two contained more violence and horror, while much of Escape was melodrama.
And yet, I still haven't watched any of these movies.
1 war
2 kingdom
3 rise
4 dawn
5 PotA (1968)
6 escape
7 conquest
8 PotA (2001)
9 beneath
10 battle

Og Planet of the apes. 🎉
dawn to me is the best apes movie of all time and I love the original but dawn is a masterpiece and also I think conquest is the best sequel out of the originals
Wait, there's 10+ of these movies?!?! How and why is that possible?
Bro imagine i just rewatch it
Aren’t there only 10 other Laney of the apes films?
There are only 10 films in the series, title can be misleading, should clarify it's a ranking.
I'm a big fans of planet Ape's
I would have put Kingdom below Rise
For me, Rise is better than Kingdom simply because I care more about the characters and story. There is just a lot more emotional depth and stakes feel higher. Kingdom was still great
The fact that there's 10...
I'm definitely in the minority but I love Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
