    This isn't a top, but my favorite moments are:
    1) The San Francisco rampage.
    2) Caesar and Koba's final battle
    3) Caesar returning to his former bedroom.
    4) Nova giving hope to Caesar's clan.
    5) The original human hunt secuence.
    6) Caesar accepting that apes can be as destructive as humans.
    7) All the scenes involving Proximus Caesar and Dr. Zaius respectively.
    8) And of course the ending of the original 1968 film.

    Sadly, even with social media being young in 2001, I had the ending of the og planet of the apes spoiled for me. No one told me it, no. The series is so damn proud of the famous ending that it was plastered on the DVD boxset my dad bought. It was on the dvd cover, on the dvd itself and on the freaking dvd menu! I get being proud of what made it famous, but it ruined the opportunity for 9 year old me to experience it properly. And that upsets me to this day.

    Something I've always wondered. Between the ending of the original 1968 film and the start of of the 1970 sequel, how much time has passed. The shocking discovery of the remnants of The Statue of Liberty at the end of the 1st film leaves Taylor as an emotional trainwreck, as one would expect
    BUT...... at the start of the 2nd film he is fully recomposed and relatively calm. Perhaps it's a few days later?
    Ley me know what you think.

    • @ProfDanielVargas
      @ProfDanielVargas 8 месяцев назад

      Probably, though it is heavily implied that the movie picked up right after the ending of the first one, maybe hours or even minutes after the first one ended, but as you say, it really wouldn't make much sense. It really makes more sense for it to be days later.
