Great message.. i want to hear your thoughts.. do you feel this will have to be grass roots? Also how do you see a cultural shift... when we are so entrenched in our current beliefs?
There are as many grassroots as there are streets, avenues, and boulevards on which we live. So, the area of our political power must begin from our shoulders to the tip of our fingers. In other words, it must be within reach. In the past, we have always reached beyond what is reachable. The two political parties are cases in point. We have been servants of their agenda, not ours. We could never set the agenda for 'their' parties; we could never lead in the past or today. Pragmatic political action by us in our neighborhoods is the very shift we need to intervene and overturn our current beliefs...which are what? The results of our own political action will give rise to new beliefs. It will give rise to our ability to be finally self-determinate.
