Oh wow! I guess that's one of the best places to be during a hurricane, not the best circumstances though. It's been a while since I've been through a hurricane, but I rode out 3 of them withing two months back in 2004. The worst one was Charley. I hope all is well now. Thanks for watching!
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview the thing was Advent Hospital wanted me to leave the day after her surgery when the hurricane was coming we had a hell of a time getting to stay there we rode all those out in 2004 in April of that year I had a quadruple bypass and we couldn't find a room
I have my Savage B17FS sighted in at 100 yards using a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9 X 40 optic. Thinking about replacing the Vortex with a 6-24 x 50 el cheapo scope from Amazon. I bought one as a test to see if it was worth having and have been really pleased with it, so I might have to get another one for the .17HMR. The rifle is just so much fun to shoot!
I should have realized that what I got at the golf ball, was the same thing I got at the paper target. I was high and to the right on both. I'll have to adjust it a bit.
Good to hear someone mention that the near zero is around 45 yards if zeroed at 100 yds and slightly high at 50. Great video 😊
Thanks 👍
I sighted mine at 100. Thanks for another great video.
Right on. Thanks for watching!
Very well explained and I concur. 100 yards is the sweet spot for 17 hmr.
Thank you! It's such a fun round!
It's good to get back seeing regular videos my wife had her spleen removed October 8th we rolled out the hurricane in a Daytona Beach Hospital

Well that wasn't very nice of them!
@SmallCaliberArmsRevi they were insisting I was leaving and I was insistent I wasn't and I stayed
Glad to see you are doing ok. Been a bit since you last posted a video.
I've just been really busy with lots of other projects. Thanks for watching!

I was pretty impressed with the CVLIFE Bear Swift, I'll pick up another one in the near future. I agree, .17HMR is a lot of fun. Thanks for watching!
Good video Richard
Thanks Red!
Thanks for another great video!
Thank you for taking the time to watch them!
Bought one right after they first came out and have always sighted mine in at 100 yards.
That's perfect in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
Aqui no Brasil eu ainda não tenho o 17hmr, mas abato lébre com o 22lr a curta distançía.
.17 es una ronda realmente divertida para cazar alimañas. ¡Gracias por mirar!
There are only two things I don't like about .17 loads. Price and availability!
I haven't had any problems finding .17hmr, the price though... Thanks for watching!
1/4 inch high at 25 yrds puts you on at 100 yrds
The trajectory chart I'm looking at shows a 17gr V-Max @2550fps, .48" low at 25yds. Thanks for watching!
I'd start at 10 yards and then back up a few feet at a time.
Sometimes, I start at 50 yards. Thanks for watching!
Well, no wonder I can't hit that groundhog at 300 yards.
You have to aim really high and hope for no wind. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, I'd say 100 yards; 125 yards max.
