We do believe what we say though. We tried them all, from every single suspension brand out there, we and think the Solow NXT Pus is the best Volkswagen Transporter, T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 suspension there is. This is the perfect balanced or performance, handling, lowering and importantly cost. Everyone knows we like a really low van here at Transporter HQ. The fact is, that just doesn't suit everyone. In fact, it doesn't suit most people. Many of you will just want to lower of around 50-60mm for practicality, but want the performance and handling benefits you get with going that bit lower. Reduced sway and body roll, massively improved ride and dampening, with comfort at speed on motorways as well as on a cobbled street.
After doing this job for so many years, we didn't think the market needed another suspension product. Now we've created the Solow NXT Plus, we can't understand why we don't do it soon. It makes perfect sense to have the rear dampening adjustable.

great video as usual👍, a couple of months ago I purchased the solow low suspension and navis 20" domes, the suspension is wound all the way down, I could not be any happier with the setup and it is an awesome ride considering how low the van is now, these look great for the heavier VW, THQ customer service amazing as well, (and no I do not work THQ just being honest🤙)

The market is flooded with too many options, every model is a game changer till the next model comes out.
I went with the Eibach coil-overs that Vw list, I think they are perfect! Purchased from THQ.
This platform has been out for over 20 years now. Suspension technology evolves over time. If people are happy with their current ride, there is no need to change. These are a great option for people with a fresh start though. Thanks for buying from THQ ☺️

@@colinlee5429 there just isn't the market to justify the cast mould costs. They can be custom made in 1 piece forged for less than £2000 though.

The ride on my T6 is shocking! 😂 You can feel every pothole. How does this kit compare to standard suspension, ride and feel?

@@THQAutomotivewhat size are they 275? 265? and profile cos i see 15mm spacers? I’m just thinking thats all for myself as i am running 275/40/20 but think i need to widen the stance. Was going to either drop to a 35 profile or even a 255/35 from the 275?
@@leekemp1180 275/40 is a terrible size tyre. Far too hard and will rub. 15mm spacers on Dan Van because the Rotiform STL is a narrower wheel and not the perfect offset. With Solow NXT Plus, 265/40 is the perfect size tyre.

They are custom made by Simply Surf Bus. They don't sell them though. They are only for the vans they build.
Recently got some SoLows. Best suspension ive had on a t5/t6! My one big problem with them is the front adjustment. The silver threaded sleeve just spins when trying to adjust the height collar. I cant see that theres anyway to counter hold it? Ive read others in comments sections with the same issue but never seen a resolution. Am I being stupid or is this just a design whoopsy?

Are these better than the H&R Koni kit. I’ve had my kit on from new 2023 van with 6k miles after a week it started knocking 10k miles on the H&R kit it’s banging about now and I’ve checked drop links they were hit with the gun and tight! Other than top mounts I’m unsure.
@@xxnickthegreekxx I've tried that H&R koni kit and thought it was nothing more than average. The knocking is more likely to be an installation error. Speak to one of the Solow approved installers. They'll take a look and diagnose for you. solowsuspension.com/solow-installer-network/
I live in my LWB T5 and looking to upgrade from Bluebird trashed coils which are slammed, these look low enough and just what I'm after, does that mean the real low so lows are not the best for loaded up campers? Ill check out local intallers for Hampshire.
Lows can work for a camper yes. If you want the ultimate in comfort though, you want a longer travel damper. The NXT Plus would be better if you are happy with the drop these vans have.

20's with 265/40/20 tyres
Would this be more comfortable that the nsl I find mine runs awful really bumpy may be because I’m on 20’s
@@stevenmassey3369 it depends how low the NSL's are set and the weight of the vehicle. Tyre size is of course key too. The NXT Plus is a totally different ride. A lot more planted.

@@stevenmassey3369 275/40 is an awful tyre. Over load rated and really hard. It annoys me so much wheel companies supply this tyre sizes. It's just lazy.
