i love these videos, i cant understand why my wife thinks me spending 35 minutes watching a video on installing a stereo i won't buy in a van i don't own is a waste of time. women are silly things.
About to fit one of these units, can you tell me the connection on the back of the head unit that is for the microphone in. Doesn't seem that clear from the instructions and you didn't cover it in your video. Thanks
Do you want to fit a Kenwood unit to your T6.1? If the answer is no, why the hell did you watch 10 minutes! 🤯 If the answer is yes, it's a boring and methodical video, but if you watch it and follow along, you'll be grateful 😉
So expensive for what is basically a iPad without any of the integrated functionalities. When will someone make a replacement for the discovery media unit with virtual cockpit that’s not a goofy (out of dash) fitment. The media Pro is what t6.1 owners want.
Good content, but the camera work is atrocious, so out of focus at times, with all the wobbly zoom in zoom out movements it is enough to give somebody a seizure. The last couple of videos were also out of focus, I can't seem to watch your videos to the end.
To be fair mate they aren’t RUclipsrs this is a product installation and a little review on someone else’s product. They are a company that sells products not RUclipsrs.
I don't like this Kenwood unit, the bezels are massive, the depth of the unit is a pain in the ass to install and it sticks out too far from the dash and it's expensive. I would seriously consider Android units instead for half the price and oem fit.

Haha, love that!!
Is pulling all the lower part of the dash out just for the microphone?
Hi, does this work with the cumpus direction arrow and dynamic sign display please?

Found it . . . .don't think my eyes are what they used to be!
Great video but that confirms ill never be fitting one in my van 🤯 😅
Good video, as always with plenty of content👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌 I don’t know why there is so much negativity
Can't please everyone Peter. Thanks for your positive vibes 😊
Why have you chosen the Kenwood over the Alpine halo 11 any info would help a lot of guys wondering.
Alpine are great but they have major stocking issues. The Kenwood is also the only ones thats VW approved and has the SOS retention
Does it sound better than the factory unit or do you have to upgrade the speakers for that?
Yes it does but speaker upgrades will of course improve it further.
Is this compatible with the T6.1 alpine system you installed a while back?
As in the speaker upgrade kit? If so then yes.
Yes speakers and sub.
fell asleep 10 minutes in. Gives me Man Eng apprentice vibes.

There has been a lot put in to the VW integration and SOS retention. These are a must for VW approval
Price supply and fit pls
We don't install here sorry. The price are in our website
Interesting that the gubbins behind the Halos are single DIN like the OEM radio yet this is double DIN - a lot of hacking at the dash to fit this 🤪
There is a double din style option too from Kenwood if you don't want the larger screen.
I’m getting dizzy 😅
You been drinking? 🤨 🍹
Looks a pain in the arse
I mean it's not for everyone. You need to be ok with all the details, but the end result is worth it..... or pay someone else to do it 😂
@THQAutomotive d be paying for fitting mate I'd balls it up

Apologies, this was actually filmed a few months back. We've recently invested in some new gear to improve this. Please sick with us.

Jesus Colin it’s not the BBC.
These guys are just trying to help people that are interested in installing the headset
@@denty32 Thank you :)

Each to their own. I do really like it, especially its integration with the EOM services.
Camera operator making me feel motion sick… like it’s been filmed by Michael J Fox
Big fan of MJ though. I hear they're making a back to the future 4. Can't wait for that.
