- With the T6.1 soon to finish production, our shift needs to move to developing for the New VW Transporter T7. My demo van has had everything thrown at it over the years. Its featured in lots of videos, had so many parts developed on it and for it. It really is something pretty special. The trouble is, we can't keep them all. Its sits in the yard and never gets used now so its time someone got to enjoy it as much as I have.
I've owned this van for 2 and a half years now and its only cover 12000 miles. Its the best van I've ever had, but it just sits there, looking incredible, but going to waste :(
Before it goes, it's only right we show you around.. It's been featured a lot on RUclips, but never in full, so here it is....
Don't worry, we've not given up on the T6.1. In fact we're still developing for the VW T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1. While we're waiting for the arrival for the new Transporter T7, we want to focus on my dream build T5 pre-face. Those videos will be coming thick and fast soon.

Try buying any new or new-ish vehicle at the minute, it’s a fortune no matter what you try to buy not just VW modified stuff. The days of picking up a 2003 T4 888 Special kombi for £3995 are but a dream…… You’ll need to get your Delorian out of the barn and get her up to 88 mph to get back to those good old days……..

I’ve just picked up a Caddy as a daily and looking at converting it into a day van, I know you guys are specific to Transporters, would you happen to know anyone who does something similar for the Caddy?

Loving the updated rear badge, so much less chrome. Do you know if it will fit the recess of the t5.1 tailgate?
Not sure. The are a mission to fit though. The badge needs re shaping at the back.

I don't think they can no. We don't do window tint sorry.
Can i ask what power bank is in the back please, that you said trickle charges from engine, as mine is not a camper just my every day van but power would be handy.

This is an eco flow. We installed an ignition live in the rear though so its always charging when the ignition is on.

Please please please tell me you will produce the side panels for the wingbacks! It's the worst part about having them fitted!
We can 3D print them, they need work though to finish this. Sanding and trimming etc. We just don't have time to finish them to get them to a saleable product really.

It's a premium suede effect product. It's used in premium manufacturers vehicles, Porsche, Ranger Rover, rolls royce seats and headlining etc.
Shame you couldn’t raffle it through Aspire Competitions or something similar, sure it would do well and give a fan a chance to own it 🎉🎉🎉
I've tried reaching out to them before but had no response. I'd happily raffle it though.
They have a lot of T6.1 campers on there but none are as nice as your van

Good idea…..although I probably spent what this van is worth on tickets trying to win one of those campers before I bought my own one!! 😢

Can you do a short on how to properly remove those seats? 😁 I’ve got rear triple singles and I cannot work out how to remove the middle one now it’s in 🤣 the others are a pig but I can just about manage those! 😅

What goes in to fitting the rear badge on a t6
It's a mission, I wouldn't bother. You have the shave and shape the back of the badge.

I've not worked it out yet. It's a lot of van with very low miles, so won't be cheap. Also depends if it comes with these wheels or cast wheels.
Are the rear lights the smoked red or clear red version?
These are what we call red/clear. They are the most OEM looking which I like.

I'm 6 foot. (Well 5'11 and three quarters 🤫)
Lovely van but I cannot ever see or understand the point of something that will take me into the countryside on rough roads & in Scotland gravel tracks. There’s your million pound spoiler gone etc etc. no for me . Standard shocks all day long because I want to take it everywhere.
But this lifts to standard height at the touch of a button. Plus it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable than standard suspension. Oh and at the touch of a button, I can lower it to get it in lower car parks.

Over priced and over rated! I live in the SW of England and these things are everywhere. Sheep buy them and sheep follow sheep! A decent Transit custom is so much better, much more affordable and I think they look better. VW just silly silly overpriced.

I leased a Transit Custom for 3 years. Terrible uncomfortable van. Lots of things went wrong. Glad when it went back. Now own a T6.1 LWB Sportline in Pure Grey. Fantastic van and great to drive. I’m a mod on the T5 & T6 forum so maybe biased 😂
@@Vwfan greedy, they are great vans. We have a 204dsg 4motion we've Caravelled. We'll always keep hold of that. I have to say, I am impressed with the new Transit though. I'd never driven the old one.
@@THQAutomotive love the look of the new Custom. When my Van is 3 years old I’ll retire it and lease either the new VW or Custom as being a builder I wouldn’t want to ruin the VW. Two years old and 7500miles on it!
Transporters have the reputation and following for a reason. Best looking vans ever made
