Enjoying this series! Don't know how I heard about Creed, but I have two of their albums but have never seen any of their videos.
This song means something different to everyone very deep song he did have bipolar issues the singer he ended up getting help and the band is back together and touring in 24

I think you should listen to more Keaton Henson especially his songs; 'Prayer' and 'Ambulance' as well as 'Thesis'. All incredibly amazing songs.
People gave Creed a lot of hell back when they came out with their 2nd album and onto the 3rd...which I never understood...they are one of my all time favorite bands ever and they were all over at the time on all awards shows and late night shows but people kept saying they were Pearl Jam knock offs and a Christian band and how they hated the singer and blah blah...just total BS...it's a real shame that the singer Scott ended up down a road of addiction and alcohol that ultimately led to the bands seperation..😔😔
Creed was definitly the first Christian Rock band that didnt come across as "religious " music. So much room to let your own thoughts bloom and helps you contemplate your own thoughts and existence.
The term "Christian Band" is not fair, they've already said it before so many times that is not true. The fact is that some lyrics are inspired by Scott religious, but you may count it with one hand.
Creed is not a Christian band. Scott Stapp has explained this in his book, and in many interviews.
