    Pearl Jam is my favorite band of all time, and in some ways Creed is a ripoff, but it's become very fashionable to hate on Creed and regard them as a complete joke, but I have to admit that they made some damn catchy music, and dare I say, even inspiring music.

I don’t have the money at the time to become a patreon, but hopefully one day soon I will because I would love for you to react to one of my favorite bands out of Tampa Florida. The band is Savatage and I honestly think you would love the majority of their stuff, such a great mixture of different types of metal. If you do per chance get to see this comment, I would love for you to start out the Savatage journey with their song “Hall of the Mountain King” Hopefully one day I will see it on here, if not, not a problem I understand. Fun fact, the core members of the band went on with their producer Paul O’Neil to form the ever popular Trans Siberian Orchestra

    Creed is one of those bands that was always solid but had a few tracks that got very overplayed. If you dig into the other tracks, you can find some great songs. Their first album, My Own Prison, had a much better sound. Human Clay and Weathered had some good tracks (Faceless Man is a great song) but moved to a more commercial sound. Their newest album, Full Circle (2009), was a nice throw back but pales compared with Alter Bridge and Tremonti, although I would recommend A Thousand Faces from that album. Great reaction as always David!

    Longest guitar riff ever? I think it might be. It's nice as well, one of Creed's better songs. At their peak, they were much, much bigger than Alter Bridge has ever been. Definitely a more commercial sound though so that makes sense.

    • @RB-oc7ti
      @RB-oc7ti Год назад

      True. But their style of music is simpler radio friendly music than the excellent, more musically interesting (and generally much harder hitting) AlterBridge. Also, the rock/metal music industry changed alot since then. Rock/metal used to be pushed hard by radio and the music industry in general; conversely, since AlterBridge began, hip hop, rap, and pop are the ones getting all the hype. I have no doubt that AlterBridge would have been massive in the public eye had they formed in the 80’s/90’s. Excellent band!

    It probably sounds familiar because it seems like you almost played at arms wide open thing that you were talking about right through the middle of one last breath thing and it would almost run together… I still gotta say power and strength of this band plus the way Scott steps voice is presented real compressed, and in your face it just drives so it has a lot going for it but it's almost like the same song over and over again maybe that's why you feel like you've heard it before it's a good song and I think 6.7 definitely right on the money I've scored higher, because I like creat, but I totally respect what you wrote for a score

    Yeah, there's no doubt Scott Stapp is Trippin for real however, he's a real strong lead singer and I don't know what he does to get himself together to focus and pull shit like this off but it's got to be some combination cocktail of some serious NyQuil nighttime cold relief with freaking Ex-Lax the shit out all the other crap that he's had an M and I don't know man maybe electroshock therapy on the side. He is tripping balls constantly, I just saw some thing with him where he was discussing his come back and his recovery from being addicted and this guy's freaking wigged out of his mind I mean still a complete freak. He has a song that he just released. I guess it's not justice maybe two years ago called purpose for pain it's super good on its own right but there again like you said it's generic. He has the energy in the pump and the focus, but who knows how he gets that he's just an absolute train wreck.
