Very nice review, it’s a lot more compact in the hand than the pictures portray. I like the camera switch and the interface is similar to the Nitecore hammer that I own. 6500 lumens and a beautiful beam. It’s on sale now, definitely buying one. 👍
Paul Truesdale 1 second ago I agree but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m going on seven years with some of my lights and batteries, so at around $30 bucks a year I should get my money’s worth. Thanks for the reply
Interesting review, thanks. I have a question though that's not about this light: please tell me who plays this wonderful guitar music starting at 7:24?
It starts to drop very gradually after about a minute 30 seconds, as it's temp controlled it can also increase up in output depends how cold it is, in really cold conditions you'll get longer in Turbo
Nitecore... you need to fix the following: 1. Proprietary charger to USB-C... how could you miss this? 2. Sealed batteries... seriously? We need to change batteries. 3. Strange mode spacing 4. Needs more throw, less spill 5. Lights now should almost always have a side and rear switch/button (2x side and a rear even better) 6. Given the side/rear power, it should also tail stand. Always... 7. Make the UI programmable. It's 2020. Heck provide an app that lets us customize it to our liking. This ensures the light works for tactical and EDC/outdoors. 8. Needs the LCD of the TM series 9. Include red and infrared 10. Always include a really low lumen like .1 or .5 for micro lighting 11. Bicycles exist... there should always be a bike adapter. Always... 12. Deep-carry pocket clips... and the option to remove them. Always... If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. :-D
Interesting ideals the range on this isn't bad for this type of light Most of these light makers don't seem to listen much to feedback, but hey it's worth a try
2. Sealed batteries... seriously? We need to change batteries. They want you to buy another one when the battery goes dead. Hey guess what? Just like an iPhone.
It depends what you are after, hence the end of the review I list out my thoughts +/- for the torch, so it should help you decide what might suit you best. There are good and bad points to each product this has drawbacks and some potential uses such as longer run times at normal power levels (due to more cells)

Nice review Mr Baz! I like the outdoor beam shots in the woods, trails ect. Keep up the good work!
Thanks I try to do my best showing the products and beam shots outside it take some time but helps people see how it performs. Appreciate the comment

It's a nice output, some might not like the body shape, I find it quite comfortable. But if a shame access to battery isn't easy

Title is Birds In Flight it's on the RUclips music library don't know the artist isn't specified in the file
Thanks!
Interesting review and interesting scene happening in the opposite loo.
Thanks for watching
How long did it take for the temp control to drop the output when using Turbo?

What is the future? Multiple 18650 in a flashlight or just 1 or 2 21700?
I think they will use more 21700 larger capacity able to take a higher drain
mate can this be used as a bike light? I am searching for a bit powerful light, with rechargeable and batt replaceable solution. Cheers.
Mounting it is a problem most mounts will work with the smaller 18650 lights might be better off looking at those

Is it worth buying this nitecore flashlight?

Was pretty excited for this, but the $200 price tag, Nitecore’s single button ui, and weird mode spacing killed it for me.
$120 now in gearbest
Спасибо за подробный обзор и тест!

Err that proprietary cable kills any interest on any light.
Unless it's Olight
I personally don't care, would be a pain to replace if it got lost though
Overall I am not taken with it. Not being able to swap batteries is a negative but the price for what I saw is a show stopper.
At least it will never roll on the table. XD
The square shape works quite well, though it's an interesting torch I would have gone a different route myself in a few areas.
With this torch you will burn bigfoots eyes out his sockets!
It's pretty powerful, quite a good range on it too
Terribly user unfriendly. Lost interest.
Nitecore's UI isn't the best at times I don't disagree
