#BrightestFlashlight
I've never commented within RUclips but this is by far the most informative review I've watched and enjoyed. Thankyou and well done.
You actually tested the torches with a light meter!!!! It's amazing how many people are reviewing torches with an iPhone only and saying 'wow that's really bright' and 'you'll have to take my word for it, but that's crazy bright'
Keep it up chap. 👍🏼
Hayeso1, Thanks for the kind words :) Your comment was my inspiration for this video BTW.

9:02 I'm sure the guys up in the space station were wondering what the heck was going on down there. Lol.
Thanks Buddy. Great job!
And well worth the wait.
I really love my X45. I can't imagine being without it, anymore.
I never thought I'd enjoy watching a flashlight review. Dang, I did! Thanks!
*BRAVO... love the no nonsense, short & sweet prevention style... ‘A breath of fresh air’ on ‘YT’..!*
Haha I'm genuinely impressed by how enthusiastic you are about led flashlight... cool stuff :)
Your videos are very informative for a new flashlight geek like myself... and funny!
Very good video, really like the creativity that you put into them. Btw to all who are repeatedly telling him he missed the DX80, im very sure he knows all about it, but he may not have had access to one to make this video. I think my favorite on the list is the Astrolux, great value for the output.
Acebeam x80 svjetiljka je svjetlo nešto najbliže suncu. Tehnički, vrhunsko savršenstvo, kraj.
Good to see you back! My fridays were 'dull' without my favourite flashlight videos!
Do more please, thank you very much. Get my fix watching these vids.
WOW!!!! That is simply amazing.
That light bar was insane!
I like how this video shows the weakness of the multi XHP70 lights. You get so much spill thrown in front of your feet, that you're basically blinded. Especially the Meteoer channels the light into a nice big hotspot, I like that. Lumens isn't everything.

Loved the little jig you did at the tree... C-U-T-E
Nice concise review and the blaster jig you made at the end !!!
You funny. You should have a spot on comedy Central
Hi Matt.
I have both the mf01 and the new one,ie the mf01s.Because the new switch is better,is it possible to change the old to a new one?
I haven't seen any of those in person, but they look very thick. Almost seem more like a spotlight, due to size and the multiple LEDs in them. Not something I could see myself carrying regularly, and I use lights daily at my job, but I am sure they are useful for some people.
Hello from Germany!!! I have the K75 for throw, would you recomend the x 80 gt or x45 II? For flood /med throw? Danke schon!!!!
Awesome video especially the combined light.
la thrinute tn 42 cw est elle un bon projecteur longue distance ?
What do you recommend for a police officer? Something that’s extremely bright, water proof, durable, small, and rechargeable?
👏👏 I know I'm later but maybe later this year we can get a "Top hot rod " flashlight video on the top single cell pocket lights? Excited about the Imalent MS03 looks interesting!
Matt can you upload another one of these for 2021? I'm looking to replace my TN36
You are one of the best youtubers i ever seen, great quality video, i want to buy astrolux mf02, is a good lamp? Thank you.
Great Video 👍 I really like the Acebeam X80 it is a great Soda can size light...just wish it had Beacon Special Mode!! Can’t wait for the BLF GT!!!
If you could only choose one favourite flashlight what would it be ?
Hi Andrew, what test meter do you use for the lumens test? make and model please
Where do you get the DX 80 where can I buy that from
Great review man! Very fun and very informative!
Thank you.
I clicked like, please do more, lol. Have a happy thanksgiving for you and family!
this video is so awesome and manly i grew hair on my chest and the palms of my hands
wacthed few dozens of youre videos, just subscribed cause of humor only.lol...
Time for the 2019 video Matt.......;))
9:04 That's my edc...
...for when I want to take down helicopters.
Matt you're the best 👍🏆👍
My X80 has a different switch funtion. If i go from off to holding the button it goes to ultralow then red. If i keep holding it down after red it starts flashing red and blue like a police light :S to cycle through the other colours i have to let go of the switch after red and then press and hold to go throug the other colours. Can anyone confir if it is supposed to flash red and blue?
Sazan if I press and hold from OFF with mine I get moon light. If I continue to keep the button pressed after it comes on to moon, I get a double flash and then when I let go of the button it turns off and is locked out. To unlock it I press and hold again.
How to order that 25,000 lumen... And how much does it cost
why Thrunite TN36 is in the list? since the lumens is so low.
Hello!
Your channel is to be congratulated! I'm from Brazil and I'm watching your videos. Very good!
In your opinion, is the Astrolux MF01 12000LM flashlight in what quality position among the 5 lanterns? Bad, Medium or Excellent? Is it a good buy?
Thank you!
The physical build quality of the MF01 seems very good to me. The acebeams I think are slightly better. The only thing I didn't like about MF01 is I thought the output after the turbo timer went off was a little low, only 1800 lumens. The others all got between 3000-4000.
Thank you!
2:24 it’s not acebeam x45 its x80
Hi, I’d reflow my noctigon to all XPL HI LEDs, I love the UI very much, can u consider to show us how to boost the nocti driver? Love u.
I recently watched the video you used a flashlight to start a fire. That got me thinking. Do you have any type of
eye damage warning on your flashlights? I bet one could be " Blinded By the Light " get it!
where can you buy the Astrolux MF01 for $80?
Hi, Sorry about that, it was on sale. I will see if BG will either put it back on sale or offer a discount code... Will get back with you as soon as I speak with them.
if i want to buy a led flash light that is BRIGHT and not cost more then 50 - 80 $ what should i buy ?
I have looked at the Utorch UT02 Cree Large Flashlight - BLACK 3D 5000K from Gearbest: www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_555780.html?wid=1433363
But i dont know if i can get better and stronger (and newer?) for lover price or better light for the same amount ? (46$)
Any advises ?
Hi Brian, The BLF Q8 is in that price range, and is rated at 5000 lumens.
''It's A good day 2 be flashlight-aholic !'' lol I think you said flash aholic. 3rd & 4th with colors seems better.
What about the DX80
PICKLE 700
i have 2 astrolulx mf01's i paid $79 for each of them and then bought the expensive samsung batteries and balancer charger for another $70. This light is a monster. The cons are its heavy, gets hot when super bright, and the anti roll body is useless with the perfectly round lens head. Its by far the best budget in all the lights in review and many others.
where is the olight marauder ? nitecore?
Also do you have a suggestion for a lux test meter or are they one and the same as the lumen test meter. Thanks again
I use this meter to test lumens in my lumen tube and lux/range/distance for lights like the GT.
www.ebay.com/sch/items/?_nkw=LX1330B+light+meter&_sacat=&_ex_kw=&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_sop=12&_fpos=&_fspt=1&_sadis=&LH_CAds=&rmvSB=true
Will you do a review on the Astrolux MF-04? And if so when is it out?
I think the Imalent DX80 may be the brightest at 32000lm
yeah, but they are built like shit and fall apart, and blow up...so whats the use ?
Yeah well im pretty sure the current Olight X7R Marauder is built like shit as it has production fault with the charge port which isnt even water resistant but claims to be water-proof
And then there is the X7 which i have and rarely use and the switch is fucked for no reason never been dropped never been wet batteries are always charged
the TN36 is nice, but i switched to TN35 bcause of the better beam, the ring controls and as flooder i got the M43 with XP-Gs
The TN35 is obsolete. The TN36 Limited blows it out of the water @ 11000 Lumens. I also have a TN40S which is a a really great thrower w/flood.
K Danagger in m opinion the NTN35 is still a nice allrounder.
K Danagger and the throw is still better on a TN35, thats also a reason its my main light when i need much light for a long time, next to the fact you can use it at max output without getting hot. TN36 doesnt have the thermal capacity and area to spread the heat for a long time, like my M43 Meteor... nice flooder, awesome to impress friends with 7000Lm Turbo... but only useful when you need under 2000Lm constant, because it cant get rid of the heat.
But thats why i like the M43... one button press for momentary „daylight“, small can design, and awesome runtime with 4x18650, so i have to charge the batteries like once, sometimes twice in a month, where i have to charge my small 100mAh LiPo, 550-800mAh 16340s and so at least once in a week.
Luckily, my NiMh AA/AAA Lights are used so „often“ that they stay like full for a year or so.
Can you teach how to order
This question is for the owner of the RUclips channel. How do you like the MF-01 in the Cree XPG3 tint? How would you describe the tint, the color temperature in kelvin and the CRI?
Hi SK, Normally I'm not a fan of XPG3, but in this case it works. The color is a slight step back from the far end of cool I'd guess it to be 5700k ish. CRI is ok, but just ok. Not bad just nothing special hard to guess that but I'd say 75ish. The thing that stands out to me is that the optic removes most of the nasty two color rings that you get with most XPG3 lights. Normally you get an bright pink center with orange edges, and it makes me gag. That light belonged to a friend so I don't have it here to re-study it on the wall, but IIRC that really wasn't the case with this light.
Cool! Thanks for the info! I purchased a CW version and I'm still waiting on it. I think i'll be happy if it's in the 5700K temp. I think that is my preferred color temperature anyways. 75 CRI i guess isn't all that bad. It's not great but it's doable. I did pick up a NW version of the Olight X7 Marauder from a guy on the BLF forums and while I do Like the NW tint, It seems a bit more on the 4500K side making it a little too yellow for my liking. The color index though makes everything a bit more natural. How would you compare the MF-01 to the x7? Thanks btw for answering my question! All your reviews are pretty good with a little bit of humor thrown in. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing more reviews!
I actually recently purchased the Astrolux mf01 astrolux c8 some orings and the Astrolux k1 all together it came out too 116 bucks couldn't pass up the flashsale
The Acebeam X80 should be at the number one spot 😜
Can you do an update to this vid Matt!? Or at least list a new list we can review for ourselves....! Thanks. I have the nightstalker 90.2 and acebeam k75. Lights I wish I had the $ for; acebeam x65 mini, k65gt, k45!? And other brands, high five here!
.......let there be light. May the light be with you.

53,000lm
No DX80?!?!?!?, I bet there's 15 lights brighter than the M43 nowadays.
Arc torch
Markie Dunn its not real they're fake
Markie Dunn eBay is bad at advertising
FLASHAHOLICS Poopoo
There's a video on RUclips about a Navy Seal saying that he would use a high powered flashlight as a self defense weapon. I wonder if it's good enough to blind a gunman.
Your opinion for some of the brightest FL for the price ? Thanks
I would say Emisar D4, BLF Q8, Astrolux MF01 are all several thousand lumens and pretty reasonable price. Convoy brand as a whole has a very high quality to dollar ratio.
Yeah the heaviest light these day's is the "Imalent DX80" with 32.000Lumens...with active cooling and is not so big...uhh..great revieuw btw... :)

very good review love it .which camera u have use for this video ?
Hi Parag,
In this video the primary camera I use is a Canon 5DII.
Where do you buy these top 5 flashlights
Hi Jeffery, there are links in the description.
I enjoyed your video review of these lights!!! 2 of them especially tn36 2017 and Acebeam x80. Trying to decide which to buy for my next light. Word of advice: when doing beam shots, if you could do side by side shots and not move around with the lights so much. Was hard to get a good idea of the differences... just a thought. Thanks for the review and keep it up :)
I will certainly keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback.
And here is great music on the background .. Damn it. Please tell me what track?)
Awesome review 🤣🤣 👍
Now they are talking about 100,000 lumen light.
Can these dudes work on thermal management. Hahaha
Bagaimana Cara kluw kta mau beli.
Bravo 💖💖💖💖💖💝💝💝💝👍👍👍👍
Crazzzzy Great Video !
Fun az Fuk to watch !
Whats the throw on these lights
Rudy Smith bad bad bad bad and bad because they and are all flood lights and mostly hot rods
Can I have that flashlight bar for my jeep? I think they're better than my KC's! LOL
To many special clicks for me and I want an adjustable beam.
No.1 is Acebeam X80, not X45 I supposed.
Good
people there is a differences between listed lumens and actual lumens i only believe certified companies
I want to purchase this product !
Acebeam releasing 40k version soon (x70)... Rip sun.
I like a big butiful head !!!!,
Epic end :D :D running with this :O :O
Çok güzel
7:42 -- 7:45. I liked it. lol
So far I found "KXN Super Bright Tactical LED Flashlights, 50000LM 3 Modes, Rechargeable" by supwildfire (sold by xinxin99) on amazon. It's 50$. It claims to have 15xcree with each led being a "CREE XML-T6 LED" type. You might think of the Acebeam x80, but it has 12 xhp50.2 cree leds.. those Leds might not be much better than each T6 led. I'm thinking that the 3 extra T6 leds might make up for its lower quality. I know supwildfire is probably lying about their lumens. I'm expecting the flashlight to actually have 25k lumens instead of 50k... but that Acebeam is 25k lumens but an extra 200$... So I was wondering what you think. Ever Cree Led gives off its lumens based on how much energy it gets pushed into it by flashlight drivers but every LED has different capabilities and durabilities. So Im Wondering this flashlight would interest you. I'm just trying to get a good deal and looking for future flashlights for defensive purposes. Especially in a different country where I'd want my family to protect themselves. Btw, I was born in America o.o
No imalent?
Too big for this video, X45 was really pushing it. Perhaps I need to do a vid with a group in the next size bracket up :)
Film Police department
Now, it's time to buy new flashlights even cheaper and better...
no Q8? Q8 with spring bypass can reach 6000, not that bright but the UI is just really really great. good video though
Yeah. Why no Q8?
then what about olight x7r? bright, good looking and reasonable price/lumen ratio....
I know...i just don't understand the standers of the list....
The Q8 was all about getting power, functionality and quality of a super mod to the masses. We wanted the price to be at the sane level and not sacrificing quality, with a taste of retro - bringing back the SRK and made the way it should be, and with style of course... (he he). I'm flattered though hearing all the good bout the Q8.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
wooooooooooooooow
Where's the IMALENT? 32,000 lumens!!
it fell apart, then melted into a pile of lava....pure junk imalent
doubleu dee Ouch.
👍
DO NOT BUY FROM battleflashlight.com/. THE ITEM WILL NOT ARRIVE AND THEN THEY WILL CHARGE YOU INSURANCE TO YOUR CREDIT CARD WHETHER YOU REQUIRE IT OR NOT
@ 9:03, Breakfast Club!
👏👏👏👏👏😁👍👍👍
WTF... You said Acebeam K70 wuz the brightest some months ago... WTF and I bought that on your recommendation. So wassup??? WTF (Big angry, growley face)
PS: WTF = Well That's Fine :-),
bpanther - The k70 is not a bright light at all. It is designed to be a very long distance light and has 2,600 lumen.
multi LED approach for ultimate lumens is just inelegant.
You're good at reading i guess.
i cant afford none of them
