I use the Decadence line and use the One Condition as a leave in on my 4C hair, love B’leave-in, Melt into Moisture as my deep condition.

Hi ladies. I had fun last night on the live feed. I am just getting around to watching this video. I am so glad you are reviewing this product. I probably should have waited, but I ordered it a few days ago. I have no intention of buying the wash day wonder because like you say between a good co-washing cleanser and conditioner, my hair will be detangled. Based on your results, (which from my end look pretty good), but when I finally use this new leave-in I am going to use some supercream and B-Leave In. I have been using the B-Leave in place of their gel and my results are good if not better. I find all DevaCurl gels are a little drying and to combat that I always seal my hair with a little jojoba oil...works like a charm. I am not trying to knock DevaCurl, I am a believer, but they are in business to make money, since the decadence one conditioner works excellent as a leave-in, from a consumer standpoint, this new leave-in was probably not necessary. I use both melt into moisture and deep sea repair, but definitely not together......I use a protein deep conditioner once every two or three weeks. Sorry to be so long winded. I Love how fluffy your results are lol it’s the look I strive for! I have fine low density hair so heavier things give me ramen noodle hair. Your so right that we all strive for different things. I need the moisture from decadence but needed a lighter product. I think I will love the new leave in and can’t wait to try

CoCoPopx we just keepin’ it 💯 we love Deva Curl but this was just not for our hair. It had zero slip and no moisture. Their One Condition is everything! That’s all. 🤓🦁💕➰

I used the leave in from deva curl decadence a few weeks ago and I totally agree with you. Too light and used with the light gel my hair frizzed by the end of the day. You were right with everything you said in this video about the products you showed.

M.A.D.CURLS actually, i prefer to use the one condition decadence as my leave in as well, i was so excited when the leave in came out but i have the 32oz of the one condition and i’m not in the hurry lol

I used it with my normal "deva" routine using a little each of b'leave in, supercream and light gel, came out great, then refreshed the next day by itself with a little more gel and loved it even more. I think it's meant as a light base. Love you guys!!

I love love devacurl decadence I use in order...i just leave the conditioner in my hair, then the be-leave in, a little of the coconut super cream, then scrunch in the arc Angel. Love it I can get about 5 days with this line. I also use both new masks.

Great video loves!!! Always love how honest you both are and that’s one of the things I love about this channel. I’m sooo glad I watched this before I went out and purchased this leave in...being the product junkie I am, not that I needed it I was going to purchase it to go with the cleanser and conditioner. I, like yal, love devacurl I have sooo many of their products (Decadence cleanser and conditioner, Deep Sea Repair mask, Heaven in Hair mask, Melt into Moisture mask, Buildup Buster, B’Leave In, Supercream, Light Defining Gel, Set it Free Finishing Spray and three Devatowels) so it was just a given that I was going to get it but again soooo glad I watched this first! I am sooo glad I am not the only one that questioned mixing the two masks together 🤔🤣xoxo

I love the honesty ladies, all of my other fave influencers love it. My hair needs heavy products or it will not curl or be moisturized. Typically products seem to work great for you and others, so it's honestly refreshing when you say something is a no! Probably not buying

I like the DevaCurl Decadence line, but I find that if I use it too many wash days in a row that I get build up. I solve this problem by shampooing my hair on the next wash day with a sulfate free shampoo or a clarifying shampoo. The build up, for me, happens most when I leave in a little of the Decadence conditioner. I find that I get less build up when I rinse the Decadence conditioner out of my hair completely. So the light Decadence leave-in might work for me. That said, I'll wait to purchase it, because I already have several great leave-ins in my stash that I need to use up first.🤗👍🏽💙

I tried the leave-in last night, but used the Supercream as the styler and the combo is amazing. The leave-in is not a meant to be the styler
Selina Isis No. we understand on this channel the Leave in is not meant to be a styler. We just didn’t care for it as a leave in, its intended purpose. We prefer using their One Condition. But to each their own. Do you use this Leave in? 🤓🦁💕➰

Usually I don't look for hold in a leave-in because I always put a cream and a gel on top of it... I only look for moisture in a leave-in. Thank you for the review and love your videos!!!

Since I started my journey I tried deva spent so much money on their products , maybe because of the weather in Florida but I didn’t have no luck , my hair was a ball of frizz... tried the conditioner as a leave in , as well the supercream and then the ultra gel, plus other products from them . even applying the products I was able to see my hair getting frizz.... I wont spend a penny on them .. love how you review products even thoughts my hair texture is different than you guys... but your honesty keep me in love with this channel....can you please review the morrocanoil products ?

I got the deva deal from curlbox to go with my decadence no poo and one condition. I will continue to use my one condition as my leave in as that bottle is too small for the price. I may pick it up on their Black Friday sale
It's too lightweight for my hair and has no slip. I love one condition decadence and the supercream but the lightweight leave in #issano glad I'm not the only one

I used this leave in with the shea moisture curl smoothie and yes it still felt wet but I've never been more impressed. Mind you I only had the sample product of decadence. Not sure about the price though.
I am very disappointed when the video first started I read the comments and was shook like I was very excited to buy this I didn’t even care about the price because I love the decadence conditioner so I thought the leave in would of course be the conditioner on steroids this is sad but thanks for the amazing review!!!! Janelle Jay I told y’all I was gonna save my coins and sit out in the sun to get my “home grown” highlights. I think it’s working. I put some coconut oil on my hair to draw the sun to it, I was told. Buuut than I saw this which answers my question lol so nevermind 😂 I did just recently get a devacut and she told me to be careful of how often I use the decadence line since it has protein in it...I'm also glad I'm not the only one on my feelings about this new leave in..#itsanoforme

I’ve been using the Decadence line for a while and I’m not sure if it’s working for my hair. I prefer the fragrance of the original curly line. Can’t see getting this new leave in. Just ordered some curly products from Amika. Have you heard of this brand? My hair takes hours to dry and it’s thick and curly. So maybe I need protein. Thanks for your honest opinions 💞

I’m about to sell most of my DevaCurl products. I like DC (especially One Condition Decadence and Buildup Buster) but they just don’t produce the quality wash and gos that I got with my As I Am products. I’m left with more frizz than I would like. I purchased most of the Camille Rose line, so I’m excited to try that out next week!
Elizabeth Curry I feel the EXACT same way. Once you are used to using brands that really cater to ethnic hair then you can see the difference. Deva is a good brand but, honestly, now that I know better, I prefer the more moisturizing lines as you mentioned. It’s just personal preference 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne
M.A.D.CURLS so I used Camille Rose for the first time last night and WOOOOW does it knock those DevaCurl wash and gos out of the park! I also used the twisting butter and curl maker like y’all suggested a few months ago and my curls look GOOD! Thanks for that tip!!

Tried Devacurl once in my transition days. Don't remember if it was the One Conditioner or the B'Leave in. It didn't wow me at the time. One of my besties loves the line.
Kristy Payne Deva Curl has its place in the natural community, no doubt about that. And as we all know by now everything doesn’t work for us all. It’s a great solid line. We love a lot of their products but this one is just a NO! For us. 🤷🏽♀️🤓🦁💕➰

I concur, and think that this would best be suited for the delight line. Bc I am type three also, and I can tell by the consistency that this would never work for me. Have you lovely ladies tried the super cream yet? I wonder if you added the super cream to this routine would the results be better. nvrnakednails1 Yes! We agree with that. This would be more suited for the Delight line. We own the Super cream but I wouldn’t think of layering Deva products to make this work. They made this so lightweight so why would I layer with a thick super cream? I’m not pressed to make this work. I Know what works. It’s their One Condition and their gel. 🤓💕➰-LoriAnne

Tash Velez Yes! We both tried both products. B-leave in is for adding volume and it definitely works. Arc Angel is a stronger hold gel. If you are looking for a stronger Gel a from this line this will do it. I believe their is one more gel with an even stronger hold called “Ultra defining” or something like that. Deva makes great products. They’ve been around forever, we love just about everything but we’re disappointed with this leave in. 🤓🦁💕➰

I'm the opposite of most customers. It's expensive but the best product after 33yrs of never finding products that work. It's worth the investment. I wont try the decadence bc the original works for me .love you&your mom's relationship btw

I agree with you Taylor I like the original line when I first went natural that was my go to I ordered the leave in and I was taken back at the price $26 for a 8 oz bottle is kind of steep

I have the decadence line, I like one condition better as for cleansing, and the leave in does work and moisturized my hair as a base before my styler, but not for 26.00.... so I barely use it because of the price.... I use Shea Moisture JBCO Restore and Grow leave in... I think it works better and you get a lot for you money, however.... I was able to get the new Stretch Curl Cream out of shear jealousy of Lpriannes result.... lol

I happen to live less than a mile from Lorraine Massey’s first/original Devachan salon on Broome Street (which I live on) I got my first haircut there about 15 years ago by her right wing man, Carlos. He eventually went solo and started his own hair care line. He did give me a nice cut, BUT not worth over $100. The original line was wonderful, and smelled AMAZING. I think everything is about marketing these days. Keep in mind that the “Curly” hair industry has become extremely competitive. Curly hair is getting the attention it should’ve received many moons ago. I still like your results....See you tonight at 8.

I just got his leave in from Influenster and while I’m excited to try it, i was also confused by it since i feel like everyone knows to use the one condition as a leave in. Curious to see how it works for my hair since my hair is finer and does get weighed down easily.

M.A.D.CURLS so it actually worked well for me with the light defining gel! But I don’t see myself paying full price for it anyways because I have plenty of leave in conditioners that are more affordable. I agree with you that it doesn’t belong in the decadence line

I love my wash n gos with DevaCurl products. For myself personally, I notice that the shine from day 1 hair doesn’t last. By day 2 or 3 my hair is dull. Did either of y’all have that problem?

The second last video i did was on this new leave in and it was an EPIC fail for me. I had to wash it out. It was horrific. Everyone kept telling me that my hair wasn't wet enough. I just can't. I love DevaCurl but this was a no.

Hi Ladies! When curlBOX did the Platinum Box on this line, the DevaCurl representative from the Soho DevaChan encouraged everyone to mix the Deep Sea Repair with the matcha tea conditioner, so that’s probably where that’s coming from.

Personally I’ve noticed only type 3’s (like 3a and 3b) like this leave in but it’s called decadence so it should be more thick and heavier than the one conditioner decadence.
I think they either have to rebrand the bottle and just call it a leave in for curly hair or change the formula to be thicker. And the fact that it’s smaller and more expensive than the one conditioner makes zero sense. Just a miss product.

I do prefer the original line because decadence has a lot of protein in it. I can’t do too much protein.

I have the same issues with the price and protein. After using it for a few weeks, my hair became very dry and my strands coated with protein. Knowing this, I currently been loving Ouidad. It provides me with a good balance of moisture and very little protein that my hair is loving. Don’t sleep on Ouidad but it’s pricey but worth it! My opinion.
I still have yet to try anything Deva. I want to so bad!

Personally, I love deva curl they give me consistent results everytime. However, I do prefer using the original line. I feel like the one condition is much more moisturizing in my hair than the decadence
