- We were so excited to get our hands on Curl Junkie’s latest additions to their vast collection of Conditioners, Hair Treatments, and Stylers. We were delighted to introduce you guys to their new Curl Queen formula and a brand new Curl Queen Leave-in that was formulated as a Moisturizing light-weight conditioner that adds some control and a very light hold. The alternative option will be in this video, as a comparison product, Curl Junkie’s Spiral Lotion, launched around 6 months ago will offer a former hold when used under the new Curl Queen Gel. In this video we showcase the 2 new products as we do a tutorial to show you what these products are all about. We also explain the other options and the types of hold you can achieve by switching the leave-in conditioners and perhaps the gels. The pink, purple and black is such a cute combination. 💜 I just wanted to tell you that you’ve made my wash day so much more enjoyable. I’ve learned that a leave in and a good gel is all I need! My styling time used to take well over an hour. 😩 I’ve learned so much just by watching you.

Yes the aesthetics are giving me 90s vibes lol I think we all went through a grunge phase in high school. I just did another hot oil treatment today in conjunction with my deep conditioner. I also did a kombucha rinse, which is my version of an ACV rinse. With all three treatments, my hair gets super shine and moisture.
Curl Junkie was one of the first brands I discovered when I went natural-made me feel like I can do this! They are pricey so I only get the Curl Rehab (and used to get the Pusha for a glycerin-free summer gel). Love love the aesthetic of this video and TaylorAnne I’m not sure whether it’s your make up or just you but you were glowing in this video...So pretty.
I LOVE Curl Junkie. It's just so hard to find in stores and is a bit pricey. But I looooove their products. Definitely some of the best products I've ever used.

Then one day she started looking crazy. Polka dots, checks and stripes all at once. Heavy eyeliner and that horrible gothic look. And then she realized she had a middle finger and oh MY GOSH! I bought curl junkie smoothing lotion and daily fix for Black Friday but haven't used them yet trying to get through other products. I am buying some new products this weekend called hydro quench systems. Has anyone tried them before. They are super cheap.

Thanks for this. Been wanting a review on these new products. First heard about CJ from you guys and pattern pusha is epic. Just as a note CJ isn’t all Cg friendly. The cocoa creme product has dimethicone. But many of the products are Cg. Can you post day 2 and 3 hair? Also can you post a review with the spiral lotion and the new gel?
Also smoothing lotion does have vegetable glycerin. :(
I’ve seen Curl Junkie on the ground at a beauty supply downtown brooklyn. But i didn’t buy it cause the products looked questionable. They had dust on them and they looked like they had been sitting there for a while. Hi guys, my hair is dry!!! Sorry I did a few framing highlights as this really dries out my hair. Is my hair high porosity from using hair color? It’s coarse and thick and definitely has frizz. Thanks. I’m tired of buying products and getting disappointed. 💜

I believe the old version has more hold. This new version is more of a softer hold but still an amazing gel.
It’s in the Leave In they claim, the Leave In we used gave it an even lighter hold but if you use a more substantial Leave in it could change the hold of the style
