At night it literally is pitch black and will leave you with a few bruises on the hips from not knowing what to brace for. The Beast has a feeling of being out of control and lost in the woods. Incredible ride

My favorite thing about The Ultimate is that they broke the record at the time for longest roller coaster by complete accident. They didn't find out until someone pointed it out over halfway through construction!
The Ultimate truly is an ultimate experience. While the first part is actually really smooth, the second half slams you from left to right and from right to left, doing these banked turns in the woods. This ride really feels like a long journey, and is pretty unique. And there is a chance you hit some pheasants running around the tracks - which is really odd.
I remember riding it with the over head restraints as a kid and wow the second half killed you. If the train never broke down on the lift hill while riding youve not had the ultimate experience lol
I have been watching this and I’ve ridden both the Voyage and The Beast. The moment you mentioned that riding The Beast at night is worth it. I absolutely agree. I had the opportunity to in 2017, and I will never ride The Beast any other way, it’s perfect to not have it at as a night time ride.
Even though Fury325 is the longest steel coaster in America, it is literally only 7 feet longer than Millennium Force and you’re not gonna notice that at ALL when you ride either one of them.
I live not far from The Ultimate and tend to visit it often. The lap bars still rarely leave me with pain in the knees but honestly I cannot stop riding it. Definitely recommend it at least once
Through your videos I'm able to see coasters I'll never get to see in person. I also love learning from you. In the 60s there was a wooden coaster at Virginia Beach amusement park. Do you know its history and is it still there? Thank you!
I currently live in Japan and this year I have been fortunate enough to visit Nagashima Spa Land and Fuji Q Highland. Both parks have the most epic rides I have ever ridden. The best moments of Steel Dragon would be the seemingly endless bunny hills the finish the ride. Steel Dragon is incredible without a doubt but unfortunately now gets outshined by Hakugei. Hakugei for me in one of the best rollercoasters on earth. My top 3 are in Japan. They are Hakugei, Eejanaika and Dododonpa.
