- Police served a second search warrant on Gilgo Beach killings suspect Rex Heuermann's home Monday morning and the medical examiner joined investigators on site in the afternoon. NewsNation's Laura Ingle reports large evidence bags have been carried from the home during the search.

Thank goodness for that one witness that came forward with the description that matched one of this trucks...Crazy how a random good samaritan broke this case wide open. And good on the PD for actually following up. Great stuff all around.
He wasn't random... he was one of the girl's "managers" and he told them about the truck and gave his ogre description 10+ years ago.

@@3_up_moon Just for people’s information all drivers are not pimps. Some girls do work as independents and pay a driver to hang around while they are with a “date”. I don’t know what the actual circumstances were in THIS case but drivers are a real thing. “Manager” does sound like a pimp though.

The medical examiner was called to Rex’s storage unit as well. Later in press conferences it was said that they had found no human remains

@@candice-hw7nb You are taking the comment to literally. Officials were all through the house and property. It was captures and shared by several media sources. They had to have found enough reasonable suspicion to expand the original warrant.
