It's funny because it's almost the exact opposite of the intent of the founders. It's supposed to be your local Representative or your governor who worries about national politics while you live your life, but we don't really have "representative" Representatives anymore when each one "represents" almost a million people each. There was even a constitutional amendment in the 18th century that would've set a standard of 50,000 constituents per Representative max (so today it would be ~7000 people in the House). Because they're meant to represent a local community. Imagine if your Representative in congress was someone you could know personally, watch like a hawk, speak with regularly and easily rally to remove. In the age of the internet, they wouldn't even need to leave the neighborhood, why does everyone need to be in DC in the 21st century?

Usually it was regarding no bid projects or materials purchases a village or township made. One was for copies of my recordings of meetings because a village had not kept the ones she made the minutes from and the auditor didn't believe the meetings could be so long and yet the minutes were only a quarter pages.
