A Premiere Steakhouse in Midtown! - Morton’s with Jenn Trepeck

Somedays for lunch, you grab a quick salad and go back to your desk. Other days, you're looking for an experience...ambience and delicious food.
In partnership with Flavors of New York, I visited Morton’s, a premiere steakhouse in midtown Manhattan. Not only is Morton’s one of my favorite steakhouses, their lunch is second to none! It’s also the perfect venue for special occasions, business meetings, date night, and hosting clients!
Morton’s opened in 1993 and has some of the best USDA prime steak that you can get around NYC. Laura Bray (@lauragramnyc ) joined me and we seriously dug into some amazing food!
As a limited time promotion, Morton’s offered an unbelievable lunch prefix for only $89 a person! This included a starter, choice of steak or seafood, choice of a side, and dessert.
We enjoyed the Caesar salad (with homemade dressing and homemade croutons), the bacon wrapped sea scallops, the 6 oz filet, wedge salad, lobster mac and cheese, and the LEGENDARY hot chocolate cake! And I can’t forget about the onion loaf (that is the size of your face!) served with whipped butter on the side. Everything was cooked to perfection and so fresh.
Of course I had to wash everything down with a drink, right?! Morton’s offers an incredible cocktail and wine list, and I tried their famous old-fashioned! This old-fashioned is special because they smoke it right in front of your eyes! It was absolutely delicious.
If you’re looking for a new lunch spot in midtown, you can’t go wrong at Morton’s!
