@@ThePasinishave you found anything authentic in Nashville? I’ve been so disappointed with the lack of good Italian in Nashville. Maggiano’s and Coco’s just aren’t cutting it 😂. If you have any recommendations help a girl out please! I have been all over middle TN looking for authentic Italian and have been severely disappointed. My great grandmother immigrated from Campania and I can’t find anything close to what I get from my family.
Wow … you almost brought me to tears. I grew up in the Bronx in late 1950s. My mom used to drag me to the Italian stores. Salami hanging from ceiling. Sawdust on the floor. Amazing aromas. Ravioli and pasta. A million memories. Arthur Ave is pretty much what is left. So happy you 2 got to enjoy it !!!! God Bless you both.

@@gkennedy2998 Close. Maybe 5-10 blocks away. I believe that the neighborhood is called Dyker Heights. 14th Ave & 75th St. Pretty much that whole section of Brooklyn, from Bay Ridge, to beyond where my grandparents lived on 63rd St. was Italian in the 60s & 70s, with fantastic restaurants, bakeries and salumerias. I know he does the same for you too being open minded with the American culture and foods ❤❤ you guys are the sweetest. Thank you for sharing your trips with us 😊
Allesio looks so peaceful like he has been transported home, and Jesse looks so happy for him and to be included on the trip home with him. I’m so glad you both know where to go now when Allesio gets a little homesick for the foods of his homeland!
Ok, my wife are headed to NYC next week (from Nashville) and after watching this, I have changed our plans completely. This is the most amazing people and community I've seen and HAVE to experience it. Thank you two SO much for the insight ! This was an incredible video that gave the true feel of Arthur Ave.
Yes! This is what America should be about all these communities and cultures thriving together. Gosh imagine the amazing foods and experiences we could all have and enjoy if instead of drowning it out with chain restaurants and groceries.
My Grandfather was born 6 months after his mom arrived in America. (Southwestern Italian Coast) Spent his whole life in New York. He always swore to me that the old world people never ate in Manhattan's Little Italy. it was all in the Bronx. Looks like many years later it still holds true.
Yes.. Manhattans Little Italy is way to Far from being authentic !... Its a Tourist trap & an Americanized Versiin of Italian Cuisine ...We will Finally Visit Arthur Ave. After seeing this this video
Wow! That's interesting. When you think about it, look at manhattans version and how it's being swallowed up by Chinatown. Authenticity lasts and manhattans Authenticity was about the mob and when that went away with Giuliani little italy started dying. Now I'll be taking a visit to Arthur Ave this week.
My heart is happy just watching you two enjoy Arthur Ave. ❤ It is not only the real Italian NYC but one of the few real old school ‘neighborhoods’ left in the boroughs. I know Manhattan is more fun, but you’ll never get a better group of people looking out for you than the Bronx.
I'm a South Carolinian who lived in Westchester County and worked daily in NYC for 15 years. Lots of places in the Tri State area will have their little enclaves of Italian American shops and restaurants but Arthur Ave is a world unto itself. You can find things here that you cannot find anywhere else - a paradise for cooks and food lovers and admirers of all things Italian. It is especially wonderful during the holidays and on warm summer evenings when you can stroll from shop to shop, having a gelato and hearing lots of Italian being spoken. On a warm, sunny day get a nice bottle of wine, some sparkling water, olives and roasted peppers, good bread , some really good cheeses and a blanket and flop on the grass somewhere in a nice park and relax, eat, take a nap. The best Little Italy, period. I miss it!
Yup, Brazil has Italians too! An estimated 32 million descendants in Brazil, making them the largest number of people with Italian ancestry outside Italy (they also have the most people with Japanese ancestry outside Japan)! With the most populous city with Italian ancestry being São Paulo. Arthur Ave in The Bronx really is a wholesome area with its charm, though I don't take an Uber there but rather the Metro-North Railroad to Fordham and then walk. Trains are the preferred mode of transport in the NY metro, and taking Metro-North gives me an excuse to take in the beauty of Grand Central Terminal (and soon, the Long Island Railroad will open in Grand Central too). That "IIIIT'S JOHNNY!" picture on the door at 3:15 is the chef's kiss.
Take the train if you're in Manhattan, definitely. I live in the Bronx not too far from Arthur Avenue (I'm near University Ave & Burnside Ave) so the bus is much more convenient for me. 😁👍 Only I'm of Puerto Rican desent so I tend to stick to the more Latin American/Hispanic areas of the Bronx when I do go anywhere (which isn't often admittedly). I'm going to have to swing by Arthur Avenue sometime soon though (when I'm not broke) at least to get some bread and possibly some cheese, lol. I'm suddenly craving good pasta too. 😅 Maybe swing I'll by China Town too one day. It's amazing how you tend to forget about other countries foods when you get too immersed in your own, or too lazy to care what you eat. 😉
@@ThePasinis The "D" train goes there, too. You can get there by subway (D to Fordham Road), commuter rail (Metro North to Fordham station), express bus or city bus. Probably the D would have been faster than driving in an Uber. Next time!
I am an Italian-American and LOVED this video. It was all about the love of life and genuine kindness Italians have for their fellow man. We're "people persons," if that makes sense. We live life robustly which involves food, family, friends, our church, neighborhood - and extending ourselves and energies into making sure the people in our world are eating well, happy, and know we care.
I laughed when Alessio said he was going to cry. Alessio reminds me of my Italian parents who were also immigrants. They had similar experiences when finding authentic Italian food in Canada. Happy you found a peace of home. Looking forward to visiting this area next time I visit New York.
Thank you for this amazing journey through Arthur Avenue! These are the kind of stores I want to visit and the kind of people I want to encounter! It brings me back to a special time in my life with my parents while growing up in our little Italian neighbourhood... The beautiful language and generosity touches the heart - and all this before you even taste the amazing food they so proudly offer! Grazie for bringing this to us vicariously through your excellent video! Your journey is our journey...
Came across your channel by destiny like Alessio says in this video and have watched so many videos in the past hours but this one is one of my favorites. His happiness while experiencing Little Italy in the Bronx is so genuine, coming from another country and culture, I genuinely share his emotions and this video made me so happy for him, having the chance to eat and taste his Italian flavors and finding people so friendly and welcoming who not only chatted with him the way he desired but also made him feel as if he was home, made me wanna go to all these places! Blessing to you and hope to see watching suck great content you guys produce! Ur new Dominican fan!!!
Seeing Alessio in this video says that he feels so much like home country that he would never leave ...... I hope that both of you enjoy your time in NYC
I absolutely love the fact that he got to experience authentic Italian food here in America!!!!!!!!! It looked amazing and the people were so friendly !!!!!!
I’m a New Yorker from Brooklyn my parents from Puerto Rico, and I must say this is a wonderful video showcasing the beautiful people in Arthur Ave which is one of my favorite places in NYC hands down the best Cuisine in the world beautiful folks too, love it! along with authentic Puerto Rican foods
I used to live three blocks down from Arthur Avenue and always visited the Retail Market for fresh vegetables and fruits. Awesome Italian place, the food was good and you could hear actual Italian being spoken which is such a different experience than other former Italian neighborhoods in NYC.
I'm Greek and love our food, but I also love Italian food. I am so jealous that you can go to an area like Arthur Ave, I could eat my way though the store with all the salami's.
I love watching you drink the espresso and delight in the coffee cup. I am Welsh and live in Slovakia and we have great coffee here and always have espresso cups which are not so popular in the UK (although they have become more so in recent years I think). I just love buying cute little presso cups and I always feel so sophisticated using them. On my first trip to the Czech Republic when I fell in love with Central Europe grappa was the first drink I had and I learnt about great coffee here and he is so right about grinding the beans - once you start it is life changing. Thanks for another great joyful video - a bit of sheer joy in tricky times.
First, I want to let you know that I absolutely adore you both!!! This video transported me back in time to my Italian heritage rooted in NYC, specifically Brooklyn. I moved to Colorado when I was 19 and each time I visited NY, there were fewer and fewer authentic Italian markets and restaurants. Now I know where to go next time I make a trip back. Grazie mille!!!
I’m so happy for you that people who saw the last video recommended that you go to Arthur Street where you found a true, little Italy!!! Your video makes me want to go visit Arthur St & I most definitely will!!! My mouth is watering after watching you guys enjoy so many delicious & authentic things!! Yumm…😋😋😋 This is the BEST video yet!! 🤩 ❤️❤️❤️

The italians are all so kind and welcoming! For this alone I would lke to learn Italian to talk to these passionate food lovers! I love these video's where you visit all kind of restaurants and café's. Now i only need an Italian man with whom I can share this love for food like you can Jessi! You are so lucky with Alessio 💞Much love from a food lover from The Netherlands 🌷🌷

It's great to see you guys out and about sharing the day with us it was a great trip threw little Italy love all the shops you stopped in looking to see you in an authentic Italian sandwich shop once again thank you keep up the amazing work

I am an avid fan of yours from TikTok but these videos really do you two justice! I practically grew up on Arthur Avenue and still love it there. I hope you will continue to share your content, views on food, and your great sense of humor! Thank you!
I am delighted to read Arthur Ave is the real little Italy. I went to Fordham U and enjoyed many Italian delights sold from vendors from this street. Loved my weekend routine that allowed me to enjoy the ambiance of Arthur Avenue.
@@ThePasinis I live in Canada so I appreciate the trip to sites unseen!!! My city has wonderful Italians, many who immigrated here to work in a steel mill from Italy. As a result, most of our good restaurants are Italian and we have the most pizzerias per capita lol
I worked with man named Carmine who grew up on Arthur Ave. The stories he told of the old neighborhood. He even taught us how to make fresh mozzarella!! Thank you for doing this. I go to NYC every couple years. Next time I'm headed to the Bronx.
Great video! Thank you so much for sharing this. I’ve never heard of Little Italy in the Bronx! I must visit now! I visited Italy once as a teenager and have been dreaming of real authentic Italian food and coffee for 20 years now!
My mum emigrated from Hungary. I grew up in Canada where we had access to many European items. I moved to the US and it is terrible how hard it is to find the things that I am used to using. I would be travelling to these stores every couple of weeks if I lived in Manhattan. I generally travel to NYC 3 or 4 times a year and will carve out time to travel there on future trips
I've been to New York once for a short 24 hour trip. I definitely would like to visit again and have a better plan. This is on my bucket list for sure. Thanks for sharing 👍 this is why I love America. Our country is so diverse no matter what state, city, county etc. U visit u will always discover the different cultures in that area. Literally almost any culture u can discover in America 🇺🇸
Thank you for filming this. We have plans to visit NYC for Christmas and our teen daughter insisted that we visit Arthur Ave. my maternal great grandparents came to the US from the Abruzzo region of Italy. They passed away years before I was born but I still feel a connection with them through the stories my mom use to share with us.
Thank you for this video. I have lived in NYC for eight years and have looked for descent Italian food. I have been to Arther Ave already but I did not know of Enzo’s (I ate at another place and had a disappointing, Italian American experience.). But, I know the markets there are like what you see in Italy (I am not Italian nor Italian American-I am French, Polish, PR, Swiss German American third generation from FL but visited Italy for ten days in 2007 and loved the food and markets there). Little Italy sadly has changed because of inflation and gentrification and COVID hurt that part of town because of Chinatown having Chinese immigrants so that explains why. However, the West Village and Nolita had Italian immigrants so there are traditional Italian places spotted here and there. Little Italy still has good shops but the food is more Italian American which is ok but at the same time I crave real deal Italian food too. Once again, thanks and I hope you enjoyed your trip to NYC. I love it in NYC-great place.
Jessi risked her life by even mentioning ketchup at that restaurant, surrounded by Italians from Italy. Had she been it Italy, Alessio would be a widower now!
This experience hands down beats the other Little Italy experience. It was so satisfying to watch you, the people, and the markets. I enjoyed it so much! I hope you can go back again and again.
First off, I LOVE all of your videos! You guys are so charming and so endearing and I always learn a few things! Today, you have made me yearn to visit NY again. I'm from Georgia (your video from Nashville with the biscuits made this Southern heart sing) and I consider Arthur Ave one of the great wonders of the world. I've had the pleasure of dining at Enzo's and it was DIVINE. I first learned of it through a show called Extra Virgin with Gabriele Corcos and Debi Mazar and now, here is another favorite couple I love to follow, strolling down Arthur Ave and taking me to some wonderful memories of time I spent there. Thanks so much for the joy you spread.
So delighted that you made the journey to the Bronx. I'm a third generation Bronx guy--my whole family lived in the Bronx from the 1920's so we went way back. Sicilian, Mio nonno vincenzo era un uomo d'affari proprietario di 5 barbieri: era molto conosciuto e rispettato nella comunità siciliana del Bronx. We grew up with the Bronx. I worked as a public-school teacher in Bronx high schools for 20 years, in fact just up the block from Arthur Avenue. I know the neighborhood well., and yes, it's the real "Little Italy". There are some neighborhoods in Brooklyn like Carrol Gardens, Bay Ridge and Williamsburg which have some real Italian shops and great restaurants, but honestly, I think Arthur Ave. is the best. Plus, there is the Bronx Zoo and Botanical Gardens not far from there and "must see" NY sights.
So sweet, love the hospitality! I also loved the insights on the how the neighborhood had changed and yes, the Albanian spots look amazing. Next time, you can make a day of it and go to nearby Botanical gardens, they have wonderful exhibitions there
Oh my gosh the more I watch the more I fall in love with Italian Culture . So friendly and heart warming people. I could so go to Italy and eat my way through it.
E' stupendo! e ci hanno detto che stanno cercando in tutti i modi di salvarlo! perché' le grandi compagnie arrivano e comprobò appartamenti per cambiarlo ma stanno resistendo
Such a warm beautiful video I just love my Italian heritage your videos bring happy memories for me it’s very special to have the close families and the authentic Italian food I grew up on and it’s heaven walking into a real Italian store the smell brings me back to my grandparents in Italy !! Thank you for showing this special video on little Italy
This was great. I can think of several famous ethnic neighborhoods where the original one turns into a tourist attraction while the people in question actually have another more real, down-to-earth neighborhood that’s not so tourist famous. San Francisco’s Chinatown and Chicago’s first Greektown immediately come to mind, where normal folks live and interact. And how satisfying to find the flavors that match your memories from home, instead of Americanized versions. That grocery story reminded me of going into a normal Greek or Turkish grocery with none of the kitsch. It’s something I didn’t expect with a population that is so long-established in the US. But NY is always a gateway city, that’s what makes it so special. Next time I’m in NY I’ll definitely check out Arthur Ave.!
Thank you for this video it brought great memories and tears too my eyes. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in Mt. Vernon N.Y. There were some incredible little Italian restaurants in town but our go to spot for holiday provisions and great food was Arthur Ave. At the time "Dominics" was our favorite restaurant there. Family style seating which meant you sat at long tables with strangers. No menu, waiter would come and ask what you want and as long as they had fresh ingredients for that dish then the chef made it. I now am retired and live in Puerto Rico, got here after living in Mexico, Hawaii, and Virgin Islands. And never in all the places I've lived have I ate as good Italian food as Arthur Ave.
As a Fordham University graduate, I can say that I expected that all Italian restaurants would be as good as the homestyle eateries in Belmont. Was I ever wrong! Outside of Italy, you can't find better food than Arthur Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood of The Bronx.
I grew up in Mt. Vernon as well. I'm an Italian-American. My Italian neighborhood everyone knew each other, couldn't get away with anything. By the time I would get home my family would already know from one of the old ladies dressed in black sitting on the stoop.
Amazing and so informative! I’ve been to New York so many times and never been really in the Bronx. I am a true foodie and my mother created great dishes authentic and I’m never satisfied when I go out to eat. This video makes me wanna go to the Bronx Arthur Avenue and check out Enzos and this fantastic café. Thank you so much for sharing this experience.
Alessio: Okay Amore, we are in- Driver: (honks) Jessi: Every time! Driver: *AND I'LL HYUCKING DO IT AGAIN!* If you go across the Hudson River to Jersey City, they have something NYC doesn't have but Rome has....a LIGHT RAIL/TRAM! I think you two should go to Orlando and stay at Universal's Portofino Bay resort. As the name suggests, it's a replica of Portofino in Genoa, and it's supposed to be Universal Orlando's best resort
I’ve only seen a couple of videos and I just love you guys and how open you both are to each other’s culture and Jessi’s pronunciation of the Italian words sounds so natural. Such as sweet couple
Man, my Dad (an immigrant) would react the same way when we first started seeing markets and areas that had items from his home country appearing here in the US. This is a nice way to share that novelty.
Such a heartwarming video. The friendly people who greeted you and welcomed you with open hearts was just so beautiful! Wonderful - so glad you had this experience.
OMG I’ve dreamed of waking up in a cantina like that!! Don’t forget Brovade and Muset!! We eat it at all of our special occasions. Oh! And by the way, my nonna said that when she came here and they tried feeding her rapini and she said that was cow food back home LOL 😂 you guys always make my heart a little bit warmer when I watch your videos!! 💕
@@ThePasinis the pleasure is all mine! The only thing that would be even better if Alessio would speak in Furlan 💕👍 my relatives still speak it here in Canada but I hear that the dialect is disappearing in Italy! I took Italian class in school but I got all the answers wrong because I answered in Furlan 😆 “no signorina, it’s gatto not gjat” 😆 Ps. My daughter’s middle name is Alessia 😎
Thank you so much for this video and your channel over all! You are both helping me learn my most loved language - Italiano! Loved this video so much. The food, the markets and the cafe all looked incredible and delicious. The people were so friendly and generous. It's like I was sharing the experience with you. Thanks guys 🤗🥰
I think by far this was one of your best videos to date! Well done! What a fantastic, authentic, informative and simply lovable video. Please make more vids like this. I’m sure there are more incredible Italian areas that no one has heard of that you would never expect authentic Italian cuisine that you could investigate? maybe some different areas that we wouldn’t expect like somewhere in SE Asia like, Seoul, Japan, the Philippines & Hong Kong, strange places to have Italian I know but believe me they’re there you just have to search. I live in Dubai, UAE and we have a lot of great Italian restaurants here (according to me 😂) so why not come and try. Definitely next time I’m in NY I’m going to The Bronx to Arthur Ave to try try out some of your suggestions. Keep up the great work guys. Love from UAE xx
Can you guys write out a list of all the dishes and coffees you tried?? Would love to try every one of them, hopefully, one day! ❤️❤️ If I never make it out to Italy, i will be satisfied with this. THANK YOU!! What an amazingly kind and generous gesture by that man at the end! ❤️❤️❤️

4:57 those are leeks, you can find them in Asian supermarkets too (if you have them in the South lol), the smaller ones you're used to seeing are green/spring onions, they might look similar but have slightly different tastes.
I grew upon the Bronx. My grandparents were born in Italy and Sicily. My dad’s family shopped on Arthur Ave. Terranova breads, Madonnia’s etc. We ate in restaurants there. We had a favorite which closed . That is a wonderful Place to shop. I went to the Market years ago with my grandmother who lived on Crotona Ave which is a few blocks from Arthur Ave.

Cool story. But nobody needed to know this
My heart is happy just watching you two enjoy Arthur Ave. ❤ It is not only the real Italian NYC but one of the few real old school ‘neighborhoods’ left in the boroughs. I know Manhattan is more fun, but you’ll never get a better group of people looking out for you than the Bronx.
I co-sign this!
The bronx also has little Dominican Republic with how many are in it.
I miss it!
Perfect capture of Arthur Ave!! Everyone there is so welcoming and generous, no matter where you are from!
esatto! un esperienza magnifica
he was literally like a "kid in a sweet shop"... It was nice to see him reminiscing about every item he saw.
Next time we have to go by metro then! Thank you for sharing this!
Next trip; Brazil! 😃
Next time!
Yes it' perfect from Grand Central. You can also go to the Botanical Gardens from there and it has it's own stop.
Italians are so warm and friendly. Beautiful people. Beautiful hearts. Delicious food.
This is by far your best video. Seeing Alessio is happy and at his most comfortable is a joy.
So glad you enjoyed it!! ❤
Generosity is one of humanity’s best qualities. You guys make me wanna move to Italy!
Find me an Italian hubby, Jessie & Alessio! I’m ready. 😍🥰😘
I laughed when Alessio said he was going to cry. Alessio reminds me of my Italian parents who were also immigrants. They had similar experiences when finding authentic Italian food in Canada. Happy you found a peace of home. Looking forward to visiting this area next time I visit New York.
I love seeing people enjoy themselves. Especially when they have this kid on Christmas look on their faces. It's just amazing to see.
🥰 grazie mille!
The look of her eyes when she tried the pasta dish at enzos was awesome
Thank you for this amazing journey through Arthur Avenue! These are the kind of stores I want to visit and the kind of people I want to encounter! It brings me back to a special time in my life with my parents while growing up in our little Italian neighbourhood... The beautiful language and generosity touches the heart - and all this before you even taste the amazing food they so proudly offer! Grazie for bringing this to us vicariously through your excellent video! Your journey is our journey...
I could see how happy you all were finding home. Almost made me cry 💜
It was truly a wonderful experience ❤
It really felt like home for him. Very special experience 🥰
I love Jessi's expression as well. I can see the joy in her eyes and am going to try everything they ordered in my trip to NYC.
@@ThePasinis you 2 should move here
I absolutely love the fact that he got to experience authentic Italian food here in America!!!!!!!!! It looked amazing and the people were so friendly !!!!!!
Ah I love this video! Allesio is so happy to find other Italians and authentic Italian stores / restaurants!
He was in Heaven!!
Such beautiful stores. So much to choose from. The bakery, the meats, the cheese. I'm in love and my mouth is watering. God bless the Italians.
They were all SO good! We could’ve spent days there!
The coffee and the salami both have me salivating.
I used to live three blocks down from Arthur Avenue and always visited the Retail Market for fresh vegetables and fruits. Awesome Italian place, the food was good and you could hear actual Italian being spoken which is such a different experience than other former Italian neighborhoods in NYC.
It's so precious to see Alessio so joyous and feeling like home 😍
Yumm…😋😋😋
This is the BEST video yet!! 🤩
❤️❤️❤️
Wauwww I love the generosity of the Italians on Arthur Ave! Thank you for sharing these lovely restaurants and lovely Italians!
Y'all are the sweetest couple ever God bless you! I'm so happy y'all found the real deal Italy in America... the best of both worlds for Alessio he can be with his love, Jessi & have little Italy too, how awesome!!😊
Thank you so much ❤
@@ThePasinis You're so welcome! 💜
I am so glad you read my comment and others who commented on you both needing to go to Arthur Avenue! Next visit, make sure you pack a carry-on with cold packs, just to bring home all of the goodies you buy. Many of us do that!
It's great to see you guys out and about sharing the day with us it was a great trip threw little Italy love all the shops you stopped in looking to see you in an authentic Italian sandwich shop once again thank you keep up the amazing work
OMG Harry you are so nice! riempi il nostro cuore di gioia!
I lived in the Bronx all my life and can tell you that Arthur Ave in the Bronx is a must go to. So glad you did this video there, love my hometown ❤
Loved this video and just love both of you! Thank you for bringing us along on your trip! I’m so happy that you had that wonderful experience and welcoming on Arthur Avenue! ❤️
Thank YOU! So glad you enjoyed it!
I am an avid fan of yours from TikTok but these videos really do you two justice! I practically grew up on Arthur Avenue and still love it there. I hope you will continue to share your content, views on food, and your great sense of humor! Thank you!
Seriously the polenta eating scene… Tears rolling down. Pure happiness and love.
I Love your videos. You show us, how easy and beautiful life can bei. A great couple in Love. Thats Dolche vita.
Greetings from Germany.
Arthur Avenue is definitely on my bucket list of places I want to go. If only you could have shipped your goodies home. That would have been amazing!
We easily couldn’t bought out the stores! 😅 hope you get to Arthur Ave someday soon!
try to make it. you'll have a great day up there.
I am delighted to read Arthur Ave is the real little Italy. I went to Fordham U and enjoyed many Italian delights sold from vendors from this street. Loved my weekend routine that allowed me to enjoy the ambiance of Arthur Avenue.
Lovely to see Alessio so happy he found a piece of home🥰 brought tears to my eyes when he gave you the gift!
The kindest people! It was truly special!
Thank you! It seems like a lot of people have never heard of Arthur Ave. hopefully this video helps spread the world about this special place!
The NY Botanical Garden is also close by so it's great to go there before or after Little Italy.
You're true enjoyment of the people and the food makes me want to go to Arthur Avenue and I'm going to start planning a trip there right now!
So happy y’all found things he was missing from Italy 🇮🇹
That grocery store was a dangerous place. 😅 we could’ve bought them out!
@@ThePasinis 😂
@@ThePasinisjust bring it back to your hotel and ship it back to your home. I do.
Your reactions to what you experienced is so, so genuine and enthusiastic. I really enjoyed your experience along with you. Siete simpaticissimi!!!!
Next time, you can make a day of it and go to nearby Botanical gardens, they have wonderful exhibitions there
...after the B Garden cross the street and enjoy the Bronx Zoo (early in the day is best while the animals are most active).
We would love that! We need to come back in the Spring when the botanical gardens are in full bloom!
Let me know, I'll be your Bronx guide...
There's also Orchard Beach on the Long Island Sound...
Don't forget the Bronx Zoo too!!
Oh my gosh the more I watch the more I fall in love with Italian Culture . So friendly and heart warming people. I could so go to Italy and eat my way through it.
Fantastico vedere posti italiani così autentici all'estero. Complimenti
Omggg yeeeey!! new video from my favorite couple here on youtube 💖
oooooh ❤️ Grazie milleee
Amazing and so informative! I’ve been to New York so many times and never been really in the Bronx. I am a true foodie and my mother created great dishes authentic and I’m never satisfied when I go out to eat. This video makes me wanna go to the Bronx Arthur Avenue and check out Enzos and this fantastic café. Thank you so much for sharing this experience.
Alessio: Okay Amore, we are in-
Driver: (honks)
Jessi: Every time!

If you go across the Hudson River to Jersey City, they have something NYC doesn't have but Rome has....a LIGHT RAIL/TRAM! I think you two should go to Orlando and stay at Universal's Portofino Bay resort. As the name suggests, it's a replica of Portofino in Genoa, and it's supposed to be Universal Orlando's best resort
Delicious 😋 love it and people beautiful touch my ❤
😂 we’re still not used to the honking haha. So many great recs! Thank you!!
I’ve only seen a couple of videos and I just love you guys and how open you both are to each other’s culture and Jessi’s pronunciation of the Italian words sounds so natural.
Such as sweet couple
Jessi is becoming more and more Italian. She now is talking with her hands!
This was so lovely to watch after a rough few days. So so joyful!
He was so happy. Like to the core. Made me tear up just watching the joy on his face.
I’m so glad I happened across this video. Thank you. My grandfathers family lived in the Bronx. Nice to see the neighborhood still going strong
😂 thank you so so much!
@@ThePasinis the pleasure is all mine!
The only thing that would be even better if Alessio would speak in Furlan 💕👍 my relatives still speak it here in Canada but I hear that the dialect is disappearing in Italy! We have a place by my house called Famee Furlane and we used to go all the time for events :) I love the language! I took Italian class in school but I got all the answers wrong because I answered in Furlan 😆 “no signorina, it’s gatto not gjat” 😆
Ps. My daughter’s middle name is Alessia 😎
Thank you so much for this video and your channel over all! You are both helping me learn my most loved language - Italiano! I find that I pick up words and phrases faster by listening and reading subtitles than I do with any language app. ❤❤❤ beautiful culture, beautiful food! Sending love from upstate NY! 😚😚
Loved this video so much. The food, the markets and the cafe all looked incredible and delicious. The people were so friendly and generous. It's like I was sharing the experience with you. Thanks guys 🤗🥰

❤ thank you so much!!
Man, I love Italian food and it’s so cool to see how you enjoy everything you tasted 😃
yes could you guys give details about it. will be much appreciated
Yes, and everything that you bought to take home in your suitcases…we would LOVE to know. Please and thank you for showing there’s a little bit of authentic Italy here in the USA. Grazie mille!!!
That is a wonderful
Place to shop. I went to the
