I never skip this guys videos
no information in this was correct. You don’t need 8k to have a “crop mode” very full frame camera can do aps-c mode. It’s not a full 4k when your in aps-c because you are cropping and limiting your sensor.
Came here for this comment
This dude genuinely seems to know nothing about videography or photography, he spews so much B.S
exactly. My sigma fp has a crop mode .... works great
You became my favorite creator for photography in such a short time. Informative and funny in equal portions!
Crop mode has nothing to do with the resolution though.... don't know any fullframe camera (doesn't mean they don't exist...) that doesn't have crop modes for video... S35 is the most popular video format... would be kinda crazy for them not to let you shoot it
Yeah exactly
A7SIII don't have a crop mode as far as I know.
So can i use this on my canon eos R that already has 4k cropped in at 1.4X?
The R5 and R5 C is still a beast of a camera though paired with Atomos display recorder than you have backup recording
Is there a difference in result between using a crop mode in full frame camera or just using a crop sensor camera??
Couldn’t you also apply the digital stabilization? Or would that not crop in enough?
I believe it would just be enough. Perhaps a slight bit of vignetting.
If I’m getting one of these lenses for my m43 Lumix, which one should I get? I do a lot of creative work, some interviews, occasionally cinematic short films
Cool lens
But I think we can still use that vignette in a different way like fun music videos
Can’t you just shoot in 8k and zoom past the dark places in post? Wouldn’t you still be able to save it at like 6k?
ILY Anthony
I'm confused, were you telling me about the lens or your camera???
Is the lens not communicating with the camera? Saw that F00
I don't think it has contacts on the mount. A lot of cheaper cine lenses don't.
Are these lenses designed for vlogging or are they great for stills?
Cine lenses designed for video work. No AF so wouldn’t suit a vlogging style set up.
Bro said surey 💀💀
First one here!! Can i get pinned plz😢
Si-ru-ee. Not suray
It's more than time to stop using those "cropped" and "full-frame" terms.
They are actually different types of sensor sizes, that's all !
Where is your so-called "full-frame" when those named "medium-size" are larger... uh ?
So... there are 8x13, 24x36, 16x24, etc. all dimensions being stated in millimeters of course. If we think right... we explain right, we understand right, we communicate right, we do things right.
For instance, each lens produce an image circle, as a result of its engineering, number of lens elements, combination in groups, distances, diameters, etc. and THAT is a crucial information, much more than any "cropping".
Those who learnt and understood photography by using films know how important it is to have fundamental knowledge of all the basics in imagery.
I strongly encourage everyone willing to progress to begin with those basics, instead of spending hours on wondering about sensor sizes.
