Great song from a great band!! Now is a good time to try Master of Puppets which is very hard. Also Screaming Suicide from their new album is really good and carries a very important message about suicide from Hetfield. I know your channel is about making people smile and that is not the intent of screaming suicide, but it is so important as they are really trying to impact people. Hetfield discusses the importance of being able to talk about suicide openly which few people do and I believe it is a message that should be heard as many people including myself are sadly touched by it and never got to have the conversation with that person or understand how to comfort a loved one.

When you listen to Metallica songs from their first couple records you have to remember and be amazed that they're only 18 to 25 years old! The sum of their parts makes them the greatest. Even without Cliff Burton being there anymore. So thankful to see them 3 times between 1989 and 1992!
Still cant wait for when y'all finally get around to MASTER OF PUPPETS. That one has got to be their magnum opus in my opinion. It's a longer song but totally worth it, just like with all of their music, every note is exactly where it needs to be and it takes you on a journey from start to finish. Plus it has the absolute most savage sounding guitar riffs of all time. 🤘😎
I've been a fan since 1986 when I was 18 years old and got to meet the band twice. Even my 77 year old mother likes this entire album. My stepfather, . . . not so much. His loss.
For some of us its all about the first albums. My friends and I were watching bootleg videos of Metallica before the first album came out in 83 so when Kill Em All came out, it was revolutionary. The first album will always be my favorite. Give me Hit The Lights and Seek And Destroy and I'm good. 😇
I love how, when hearing an amazing metal riff, it is a universal reaction to give the "stank face". Like, no matter who you are, it's gonna happen! :)
I'm a huge Metallica fan since 93, my best friend introduced them to me and been hooked ever since. People will talk smack about their music now compared to back then but I like them all! I love watching reactions of their music on people that don't normally hear them then become fans after because they are the real deal! Listen to the Frayed ends of sanity, you will not be disappointed! I'm a fan of your channel now, welcome to the Metallican family!
I absolutely love and appreciate y’all reacting to music I’ve loved since I was just a kid Metallica, Iron Maiden, Ozzy and Slayer these are the bands I listened to in the mid 80’s around 10 years old
I was the kid, in highschool, with the jean jacket and Metallica bandanna sewn on the back. I love the "chunky" guitar of old Metallica...the kind of metal that has the same energy as throwing a rock through a window🤘
This song is so underrated. Love it! If you haven’t done creeping death from this album it’s a must. Try to find a lyric one. I think you’ll like the lyrics.
Speaking of "feeling trapped", there's another song on that album called "Trapped Under Ice" y'all need to check out. This was the album that introduced me to Metallica back in '84 or '85, can't totally remember 😂
Boy, do I remember buying this record. I want to say October of '86 (I was in SF-no seasons there.) After that first record, nobody could wait for the second one and man, it did not disappoint. Nothing but hits on that record.
Great song from probably my favorite Metallica album! This song in context - followed by listening to blistering thrash opener Fight Fire With Fire - sounds 1000% better than by itself, imo. Then comes For Whom the Bell Tolls, and Fade To Black exists side one of that album. This album needs to be listened to from beginning to end.
Early Metallica is the best!!!!! Remember, they are only 20-21 years old here!!!!! Crazy that they sound so good!!!!! Probably my favorite album from them…. Metal masters for sure!!!!!!!
This was Cliff Burton era btw Guitar work. When I was younger, I learned to play this song from beginning to end. It is a tough cookie, can’t imagine writing it, what a masterpiece 🎉
This one's for Amber. It is drum related. And I mean so extraordinary that it kicks Lars in the butt due to incredible drum playing. The band is composed of super extraordinary musicians from Berkeley school of music and it is considered a Super Band. So, check out the band DREAM THEATER. The track: AS I AM. And prepare to be floored. Especislly Amber. Focus on the mind-blowing drums.
I bought this album at at my local record store in the last three bins after z bin. That’s where you would find unknown metal bands. You never knew what you got until you got home and dropped the needle, it was a gamble, and look at the album appeal, band name, their logo, what the band members look like, and song titles. Ride the lightening was a great find, it was two more years until Master of Puppets came out in 1986. I turned a lot of heads with this album. The only radio station that played heavy metal, was an alternative radio station KRCL, Tooele Utah, that picked up and ran KNAC Rock station out of Los Angeles every Saturday night.
During the Black Album tour I saw them in conert and got to be in the middle of the arrowhead stage. At one point James played drums and Lars played guitar. It was awesome! You haven't lived until you've had Metallica shake their sweat on you Lol!
Ok, now you're getting into classic Metallica....the albums that made them the legends that they are.❤️🤘🤘🤘

It's a longer song but totally worth it, just like with all of their music, every note is exactly where it needs to be and it takes you on a journey from start to finish. Plus it has the absolute most savage sounding guitar riffs of all time. 🤘😎
Check out Metallica - Bleeding Me. Different than their earlier stuff but under appreciated I feel.
I've been a fan since 1986 when I was 18 years old and got to meet the band twice. Even my 77 year old mother likes this entire album. My stepfather, . . . not so much. His loss.
Your mom kicks ass man!! 👍👍🤟🤟
All need more Halestorm in your life! Lzzy hale is such a fantastic singer and Guitarist it amazing what she can do!
I absolutely love and appreciate y’all reacting to music I’ve loved since I was just a kid Metallica, Iron Maiden, Ozzy and Slayer these are the bands I listened to in the mid 80’s around 10 years old
This old Metallica is what i grew up on. I was a HUGE metal gal over the big hair bands. Mean and badass!! Love it!
I was the kid, in highschool, with the jean jacket and Metallica bandanna sewn on the back. I love the "chunky" guitar of old Metallica...the kind of metal that has the same energy as throwing a rock through a window🤘
This song takes you to your limits then changes to take you to different limits and so on perfection ❤
This song is so underrated. Love it! If you haven’t done creeping death from this album it’s a must. Try to find a lyric one. I think you’ll like the lyrics.
I love metallica. They have so many good songs.
Ride the Lightening is my all time favorite album of any band and genre. Call of ktulu is my favorite song
Speaking of "feeling trapped", there's another song on that album called "Trapped Under Ice" y'all need to check out. This was the album that introduced me to Metallica back in '84 or '85, can't totally remember 😂
Ooooook. Bold statement coming,,,, literally the best reaction to this song ever. Hands down
Ahahaha you predicted that drum fill before the pre solo riff so well, you was feeling it!
Boy, do I remember buying this record. I want to say October of '86 (I was in SF-no seasons there.) After that first record, nobody could wait for the second one and man, it did not disappoint. Nothing but hits on that record.
I remember when I heard No life till leather and Hit the lights.
That really blew me away at that time and then my love for Metallica began! 👍🤘❤️
You are absolutely right.
I remember listening to that every morning on the way you school. It really does get stuck in your head!
Early Metallica is the best!!!!! Remember, they are only 20-21 years old here!!!!! Crazy that they sound so good!!!!! Probably my favorite album from them…. Metal masters for sure!!!!!!!
....And Justice for all is a trip!!! A master piece!!! You're gonna love it!!
This was Cliff Burton era btw
Guitar work.
The Younger, Raw Talented, and Angrier Metallica, is by far The Best Metallica!!
Metallica is THE best heavy metal band EVER!
Those first four albums are phenomenal. For Whom The Bell Tolls will always be my favorite Metallica song.
THIS! Cranked to 11 cruising in my 66 Mustang on Friday and Saturday night. So freaking good❤
Ya'll need to do "Harvester of Sorrow" & ".....And Justice for All". Both are badass. 🤘
I bought this album at at my local record store in the last three bins after z bin. That’s where you would find unknown metal bands. You never knew what you got until you got home and dropped the needle, it was a gamble, and look at the album appeal,
band name, their logo, what the band members look like, and song titles.
