I seriously didn’t realize it was this easy mainly because I never looked, I’ll change out throttle body’s , sparkplugs, coil packs , valve gaskets but never wanted to do my own oil changes lol… I’ve been paying a ridiculous cost for oil changes . Appreciate your content. Ive got to replace my Dem/Fmr and cas unit which was the original removal videos I was searching for. Then I saw your shock absorber video which is on my list of todos as well as lower motor mount, oil pan gasket and front crank shaft seal and so I kept watching. I feel way better about the upcoming repairs I have and DIY’ing them myself. I love my mini, and my son is 17 I’m having a hard time letting him have it- but we’re going to do the repair together. If he’s gonna get a free car he’s gotta turn a wrench to . Appreciate ya!!
Other than accessing the oil filter, this is a fairly easy task. I always worry about moving that coolant tank around, but just take care and it all works out. I found the low profile ramops from Race Ramps are perfect for getting my MINI Countryman off the ground.
I haven’t done my own oil changes since I ran my old ‘69 VW Beetle - So long as I can get a collector can slim enough to get under the mini this video has reminded me just how simple this process is! Thank you
Two questions...is the n12 engine the same oil capacity? And is it measured in quarts or liters? I've heard both but it's always the same amount in quarts or liters, which doesn't make sense to me. ;)
