why my screen is stuck on the "Welcome to postmarketOS Kernel 6.9.0-sdm845 on an aarch64 (/dev/ttyl) oneplus-enchilada login: " screen. im using OnePlus 6
The OS has camera support (ie camera app), BUT it doesn't work on OP6t. So, it really depends on the device, and the current state of the port for that device.
Are there specific features that you are looking for? I find that LineageOS is good for removing bloat, and then you can install the pixel camera or some other things.
@@kaungmyatthu2653 Oh you're right, sorry. I think because of the mediatek processor, it is difficult to make custom roms. It is possible to flash GSI roms, but the results may vary. I did find a pixel experience rom here: xdaforums.com/t/rom-13-veux-pixelexperience-aosp.4557537/
I think the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G (Tapas/Topas) is still relatively new, so there may not be much attention to it yet. You can try discussing in forums.ubports.com and see who else might be out there :)
@@CyberPunkEduThank You for replying!🙂 Oh and i am creating a PMOS-Installer tool for the postmarketos users so that they will have their own one! I always wanted to contribute to linux but I don't know where to start so i start from here. 😊
@@Open-Source2024 A PMOS-installer sounds great. There have been some inclusions of PMOS in the Ubports installer, but it has had some issues. You may be able to collaborate or get some insights fomr ubports. A PMOS-specific installer would be nice :)

@@namqul3544 Glad it's working! Sometimes that first boot is a bit off. If using an edge channel, that also can break sometimes.
