I do love how Weeping Plum turns out. I recently ordered some, and am hopeful for that soft pink result. And BTW LOVE LOVE LOVE the hair! Happy video viewer here, as usual!
I love the new hair style! It's very flattering. Lovely pieces. You are an excellent teacher and your students should be commended. You've given me some inspiration to try new glaze combos. I've got some bowls that I was going to use in a set, but won't be, so I'll use them in glaze tests. No texture on them, but otherwise, they show a better idea of how things will act on larger pieces.
Love love looooove your hair! Stunning! Running off to glaze a bowl in obsidian blue rutile! Why don’t I do test tiles? Because I just watch Sarah at the pottery corner 😂😂😂
@@thepotterycorner yes x you’re sharing so much hard earned knowledge which wasn’t free to you; it’s good to give something back 👍 thank you I love my pottery journey !!!
I love all your videos and have learned so much from you. You are so creative. I would love to hear your pottery origin story. How and when did you find pottery? How did you get to be the the artist you are today? Thank you.
Hello and thanks so much for watching and commenting. That's a great idea for a video! Always interesting to have suggestions from viewers. Much appreciated 😊
Hi there, I love to see the great glazes, and the students have done amazingly beautiful work too. Can you please tell more about the "low sheen transparent" glaze on one test tile? What brand is that, and is it smooth to the touch and possibly a good liner glaze for food dishes?
Hi Patsy and thanks for watching. The transparent I talk about details are: "High Fire Exotics HE201 Low Sheen Clear" This came from my local clay supplier which is Clayman and they do have an on-line shop. It is not completely matte but is defintiely not a gloss finish and would be suitable for food. It is a food safe glaze. Not suitable for spray application. Really hope that helps.😀
@@thepotterycorner You are welcome. I really mean it. I have long gray hair myself, or should I say a yellowish grey .... I'd love it to be of a cleaner gray color, but the longer it grows it gets more yellow to my dismay. But I am not ready to get "the cut", lol.
Hi Sarah. Love your hair & your scarf! Very complementing! My favorites in this kiln opening are Claire's beautiful bowls. I like to make vertical test tiles to see what movement happens with combos. I know the blue rutile x3 with a band of oatmeal x2 on top results in beautiful color movement. I'm not seeing the link for the super thanks button. Do you think that has anything to do with international exchange? Thanks as always for your great videos!
Hi Joann and thanks as always for watching. The Super Thanks button is on the toolbar where the 'like' button is. I think it has a Dollar sign and says 'Thanks '. Its a way for viewers to show their love for the content- especially the tutorials where I show you my original designs to try yourselves. I have had donations from all around the world 🌎- makes me feel very loved by the clay community ❤️

Thanks so much my lovely. I'm still getting used to the short ✂️ 💇♀️ 😊
I think I recommended Seaweed over Rainforest - I think you need vertical movement to make it do it's magic. Maybe do some L shaped test tiles?
Hi Ryan. Yes - vertical tiles are Something I need to do. It's another thing on the list! Thanks for watching 😊
Nice hairdo!
Great haircut... and yes makes you look younger.. not that you are old looking 😊 Have a great personality..
