Three weeks ago I upgraded from iPhone 6 to iPhone 12 Pro mainly for the camera, not to mention system updatability. Nothing I heard here makes me sorry I didn’t wait for the 13.
With 60 usd difference between 12 pro and 13 pro, I think I would go for the 12 pro too.

I just downgraded from 12 Pro Max to 12 Pro since the Max where too big. I was going to order the 13 Pro but the delivery time is ridiculous.. again we have to wait at least a month. Thats what kept me from getting the 13 model. However i think the 12 is worth it since it will drop in price.
My phone was scheduled to deliver on Nov 24 but got it today, Nov. 13. Earlier than expected. it took 1 week only. i think it depends on the availabilty of the phone since pros sells fast.
It's a shame the iPhone 12 hasn't gone down in price as much compared to the 13. The main relevant difference then is the camera features.

Well worth the upgrade. The Battery life is on another level and that’s important to me. I do long hours and stream music and podcasts all day. Pro motion is awesome too. Can’t go back now.

there is a thing called air pods 3 or now the 4... buy that and it will save you 5 minutes of your time

I got the 12 pro right before the 13 came out and honestly I’m fine with my 12 pro I love it I had the 11 pro max and was so ready to get a smaller iPhone so I just went for the 5g 12 pro no regrets at all

Great video. I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max and it was so well made that in day today usage I wouldn't even notice any differences between it and the 13 Pro Max. Now if you're going to night clubs or somewhere where there's dim lighting of course that's when the differences would show but going to a Reds game or taking pictures while going for a walk that phone was so awesome that maybe upgrading every four or five years would be more than enough. So the answer whether to upgrade from the 12th Pro to 13 Pro would be no unless you're just rolling in money. You have a friend in Columbus Ohio!

12 Pro Max owner here. Decided to wait for the 14 instead. No upgrade program for me, so selling my 12 PM and putting cash on top for the 13 Pro Max seems like a huge hassle 😕

@@issavibez394 Usually people upgrade phones every 1-2 years if they have a lot of disposable finances. But an iPhone, if used with care, they last very well for around 4-5 years.
I had a 6s in 8th grade in a junior in high school and now I have a iPhone 12 Pro. So many memories with the 6s
I might as well just observe what the iPhone 20 would be in terms of pricing compared to it’s predecessor models. I am sure there will definitely be major changes and improvements compared to these models. I’d rather invest my money on major things of the iPhone model which nowadays won’t be able to do upgrading by just at least three generation models doesn’t seem worth doing in my perspective, and plus I would rather not constantly yank money from my pocket. Reason: repairs, cost, no structural changes overall (but the camera and upper screen), and the chips (which don’t seem a major change to me).
I think the 12 pro looks better. Especially the pacific blue
sierra blue is SO much better looking than pacific blue, it’s honestly kinda mind blowing how much better it looks

I don't pay anything on my iphone purchases. I upgrade every 2 years, so I only pay like, $26. And 10$ a month for the payment plan. That didn't stop me from investing, though. I invest about $10,000 a year into the stock market, plus I have the latest and greatest flagship phone.

I have the 12 Pro, but can’t decide whether to keep it or upgrade to the 13 Pro…. That Sierra Blue color is very beautiful, and I do take pictures frequently…. Don’t know yet, I’ll sleep on it for a month….
That's the only reason I got I iPhone 13 Pro Sierra Blue. My daughter has iPhone 12 pro blue. Pretty much the same. I also photograph. Aperture faster than 12, but upgrade coming soon to both phones regrading video and camera aspect of it. Really I had the money and more for the color and aperture more light and faster. Besides that I would wait for next. Not unless myself; just to say I have the new one. I have friends with 9 still. Just one of those things Gladys.

I think the Pacific blue from the 12 pro series looked way nicer than this sierra blue.

I really want the pacific blue or midnight green of the 11 and 12, and then apple released the god awful baby blue for the 13 :(. They had the perfect opportunity to go for a deep dark wine red. Really puts me off of buying the 13 even tho i desperately need an upgrade. I might hold on to this old ass iphone 8 another year in hope that they release a good dark color for the 14

I actually just switched over from Android to IPhone. I’ve been using an old Galaxy J7 for about 4 or 5 years now & my kids have been trying to get me to switch for years. My J7 started acting up which was forcing me to get a new phone lol so my daughter gave me her old IPhone XR just to try IPhone out & see if I like it and I fell in love. So think I’ll treat myself to IPhone 13pro. I deserve it after all those years using the Galaxy to save money. Tmobile is even giving me 400$ credit for the XR

I have a 12Pro and I'm getting my wife a 13Pro (upgrading from 11 non-Pro). I have seen the 13 Pro and the camera modules are huge compared to 12 Pro. Kinda shocking. Does that translate to much better photos.... we shall see.

I upgraded cheap from the 12 pro to 13 pro...I doubled my memory from 128 to 256...I haven't gotten the new phone yet, I get it tomorrow...so I figure with the longer battery life and twice the memory for $300...it was a slam dunk

Apple is a company which implements minor upgrades every year compared to previous year. It helps hold resale value better, doesn't make feel left out to previous year owners and these help apple to retain its customer loyalty. For instance this year was a battery upgrade year. Some other years were processor and design upgrades. Camera upgrades are always minor unless they add a new camera like zoom, wide angle etc but main camera quality upgrade is minor always
not true, when the 12 came out, the amount of upgrades it brought dropped 11 value by a significant margin.
It also helps that unlike Android, Apple is it's own competitor in the fact they are the only ones using Apple iOS. They don't need to upgrade as drastically as Android does because they already have their brand loyalists where as Android brands have to make drastic upgrades because too many brands are competing with each other with Android. So Apple are kind of in their own market in a sense.

@@pascal8920 Well that's what happens when a Electronics company designs their own chip set exclusively for their own product. Whereas android works off the best they can get. Remember that brands like Samsung make way more products than apple does. And they charge way less than apple does. Hell everyone charges way less than apple does. Apple has been expensive since the Apple II.

I myself have an Iphone X 64gb and I think iphone 13 pro is a great Upgrade for me as I have used the X for more than 4 years now.

@@mekaellison9474 I'm not broke and upgrade my phone literally every year. There is very little difference between the 12 pro and 13 pro aside from slightly better battery life...like about an hour more battery life. And the camera "features" and the fact that the 13 pro has 120 refresh rate...but to be honest if you someone has never used 120 refresh rate it doesn't matter... personally I don't care about the refresh rate. Other than that theres very little major difference between the two phones.

I was still using an iphone 7 when i decided to upgrade to 12 pro due to lidar and man am i glad i did so over the 13 pro, if the 3D scanning is the same on both rear and front camera… the rest of the cameras are insane compared to that, but other than lidar i don’t think the price should be anywhere close to what it is compared to other good phones, but i get it.. branding will always be branding 😁

If youre thinking about gettting an iphone for the first time, none of these changes mean anything to you.
You can even buy an iphone 7 pro and its a huge difference from your typical Android or whatever other brand you had.
Recommended for new iphone users, go with 12 pro if you can afford or anything between 7 and 12 is fine.

Don't get the iphone 7 or 8. They are old and junk now plus compared to whatever phone you'd be coming from they're slow as dirty in comparison. Their updates timer is almost at it's end as well. Honestly if you want an entry level I'd say get the iphone 11. if you want 5g with that then get an iphone 12...stay clear away from iphone 12 mini...it looks good but it's battery life is horrible.
