I want to correct one thing, the macro mode is built into the ultrawide camera, not the telephoto camera. You told that the telephoto doubles as a macro camera, where it should've been a mention for the ultrawide camera.
13 pro it's huge to upgrade from iPhone 6

I'm still on iphone 7 but my charging port is damaged ,so I'm considering upgrading to 12 pro or 13 pro but it's like a months wage for me. I can't really tell the difference between the cameras, i saw many videos and the 13 is supposed to be better but sometimes the picture on 12 looks better, but my iphone 7 takes the worst photos ever. Compared to the videos of iphone 7 on here, my pics look like popcorn i think the sensor degraded over time or something. The big feature upgrade for me will be faceID for 3D scanning.
Honestly, the 13 Pro is a lowkey great upgrade. A lot of people seem to be writing it off as a "12s," but there's a ton of new stuff here. The battery on my 13 Pro is absolutely insane.
For real, I came from a Oneplus 7 Pro and I was worried about the battery capacity being just over 3000 mAh, but it's been more than enough and i'm ending my days at 40 to 50%

It doesn't "wow" the general person due to not being a "new design" or boasting some random new feature like 50x zoom or 500mp camera ;p

Thinking about moving from pixel 4a to iPhone. The iPhone pro with Koodo mobile is $1440 dollars..the 13 pro is $1444 dollars 🤷
Enjoyed the roundup of the two phones. I don't see much point in 120Hz on a small device only consumes more power and I've limited my present phone, this may be objectionable, but I personally don't see much of a difference. The only real plus side has to be the camera being able to capture that little bit better image. However as I write this, the difference in today's 2nd-hand market, the iphone 13 pro is double the price of the 12 pro.

When a new iOS comes out it’s more taxing in the phones therefore taking more power to operate, then if you don’t want you chip taking to much power or crashing you phone needs to slow down.

This is the first time in years when you can upgrade to only 1 year newer iPhone and it will worth the upgrade. Camera is noticeably better, battery is levels ahead of 12pro, you have a 120hz which is a GAME CHANGER, I don’t know if the performance is worth the upgrade but overall the 13pro is closest to a “worth upgrade” in 2 models year after year. I have it and I only have one issue with the Apple ProRAW or idk what was the name of it, when you are about to take a photo the photo looks stunning on the screen, when the photo is processed there is a strange effect added. I can’t remember the exact name but it was introduced like 1-2 years ago and previous versions of iOS had the option to turn it off. Hope they fix that with an update cause it’s not good. Normally after you take a photo, the processing should make it ever better, not worse. But overall the phone is great and that is the only downfall which isn’t especially for the 13pro to be precise.
Just picked up a 12 pro. I believe it is the best when it comes to price/performance. 12 pro got it for 450. 13 pro cheapest is about 700. Just can't justify spending almost double for the 13 pro.
I got a 13 Pro for 650. Probably as good of a deal. A 12 Pro for 450 is crazy tho. You’re getting a huge bang for your buck.

Techies here fail to realize that most ppl don’t upgrade their phone every year. I think even Apple did the numbers and most iPhone users upgrade with their phone every 2 years with their carrier plan. If they have the the 12 pro why would they? They’re most likely still paying it off unless they bought outright from the Apple Store.

It is a big upgrade. 1,000 nits in sunlight. Pro motion 120hz. And for the first time ever apple has put everything from the 13pro max into the the 13 pro. Battery life is twice what iphone 12pro was.

13 Pro. Better display(120hz Promotion display also smaller notch), better battery life(13 Series in general had better battery life as it is the second gen iPhone that has 5G,12 Series we're the 1st gen for 5G iPhone so optimization on 13 Series will always be ahead of 12 Series), better cameras( technically speaking I don't really cared all that much oh cameras but the differences is definitely noticeable) otherwise they are the same phone with significan difference.
