This was TOO GOOD. This episode in particular was superbly written. Great to have so many cameos and fragments of conversations.. it really made the place seem alive and real.
@@downunderrob yes you are both right so i am sorry for my error and any offense caused, i have since found out that i was still suffering from the after effect of the scarecrows hallucinogens .
Even though Galloway was only in 35 episodes I always wandered how he & Burnside would get on together but after the first episode & the episode Ringer I realised that they hated each other back when The Bill was worth watching
Burnside seemed to be scared of Galloway... always thought Frank was the best DI of the bill but reminding myself of these early series Galloway was just as good... ruled the roost over the whole station in the early days
The pub interiors were filmed in The Royal Oak on Columbia Road, Bethnal Green, London, although they then are seen to leave the rear of The Caxton Pub on the corner of The Highway and Artichoke Hill in Wapping. (Next to the original Sun Hill set location)
Good episode...so from what I can work out, the old guy who died was innocent. There didn't seem to be any follow-up on his death following the heavy questioning.
Nobody thought to have the poor old man checked out at the hospital? He obviously has some type of head injury, possibly an epidural hematoma. He is showing all the classic symptoms. This makes me sad.

I always liked DI Galloway and DS Ted Roach good true coppers bend the rules but never break them
that slag burnside was the bollocks.
Completely agree, it wasn't the same when Galloway left the program.
@@ajs2120 it was still decent for another 10 years at least but I feel it went downhill once roach and burnside left in 1993
these original episodes were when it was best! they all came across as convincing police.
It had nothing to do with Australia I don't think London Burning was even shown here.
Mate, when did Australians ever get hold of The Bill? 🇭🇲

This is an accurate portrayal of police pig headedness and callous indifference.

They went at him in a vicious way. The thing is, Galloway had doubts about White's guilt.
They should have been called out for that. Absolute bs to go at him like that.
@@gabrielepresby9120 Presumably, there was an inquiry but we don't need to see everything
Where is series 1
Same as your manners, not here.

It's not actually real life!

He was checked at Hospital but nothing was seen so, if the Hospital aren't concerned, why should the Police be?
