    I would like to say good morning to Don and Kat. I am from Louisiana, about twenty miles from New Orleans. The Madri Gras town. I enjoy watching you work.

    Just found your channel. Wanted to do twig binding, so watched those then this came up. It’s been years since we did leaf prints!! Such fun! We printed T-shirts 😊❤ I’m going to try this one for my plants journal

    I am so happy to have found you! Your work is inspirational. I have so many pieces of fabric and lace left from my Grandma and Great Aunt and I have been trying to think of how to use them in a meaningful way. Thank you !

    Wonderful video as always. I have an off topic question-I have in the past bought some of the kits you sell through the gallery but I am working almost exclusively in cloth and stitch now. What i am wondering is if you ever considered putting together any kits with all fabrics and threads?? thank you both for all that you do for this community

    • @CaterinaGiglio
      @CaterinaGiglio  2 года назад

      Hi Michelle! Thank you for purchasing the kits!! The problem with fabric kits is that, while I enjoy slow stitching.. I really don’t have a large stash of fabrics and laces.. I have tons of papers and ephemera.. so that’s the issue.. 😞

    I LOV the way YOU don't have written instructions, I've been told, I have b structure in my art, I say, if it's structured you have NO creativity, I feel like my hands are tied.
    Keep creating Cat and sharing.

    Loving the book. I would like to know when you have a new show how do you come up with a theme and do you have a particular process you use to get the pieces ready on time?

    • @CaterinaGiglio
      @CaterinaGiglio  2 года назад +2

      Natalie ..it depends on the media and how involved the process is.. it also depends on how much time I have to put into the video.. sometimes, I am really rushing to finish!! 😘

      Thank you, that's really interesting to know. I was wondering about the exhibition that is coming up in November and how you manage a theme and getting that work done.

    • @CaterinaGiglio
      @CaterinaGiglio  2 года назад +2

      @@nataliechim5227 well it’s a balance, sometimes it’s better than others.. themes and media just seem to make themselves known to me and I just proceed with them. As far as getting the work done, I am very disciplined in doing the work and getting my pieces finished.
