The i30 SR is already a sporty hatchback before N Performance upgraded it in almost every area. So what’s the big deal about the Hyundai i30 N? A lot...and as you’re about to see the N Performance team has produced a seriously impressive and fast hot hatch.
N Performance set off to Wakefield Park race circuit with homegrown Motorsport talent Jordan Cox, Professional Test Driver / Up & Coming Production Car Race Driver - Cox Motorsport, where he put both the i30 SR and i30 N through their paces to set a lap time and see just how much quicker the i30 N can be.

Change the suspension and dampers . Put in a new sports exhaust with cool air intake new tires heavy brakes and a decent computer tune and you wouldn't be far off beating a full fledged N model in a Hyundai sr if not beating it.

Not really a good comparison, you should compare the i30N to say a Golf R, GTI, Focus ST, Megane RS around the track, that would be way more fair 😉
