Maybe just me, but I really didn’t like the calibration of the DCT in the i30SR. Hesitant at low revs, slowish on upshift and reluctant to drop gears - should just use the 6 or 8 speed torque converter Hyundai/Kia use elsewhere - hope Hyundai do a much better job with the 8 speed DCT coming for i30N. No mention of the abysmal practicality in the Corolla? Must have been stark with direct compare against Cerato...

Cerato hatch 1.6litre turbo engine performance just a few weeks away from now. Similar price point as the new Cerato sedan 2litre.
Hyundai 130 SR with DCT.. No thanks!
The DCT in the i30 is fantastic. Much more refined than previous Gen Veloster.
