I think people only think your a good vocalist if you have a Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston or Beyoncé range. Taylor knows she’s not THAT type of singer. But, she still is a hell of a singer.

I've seen it in theaters 4 times and would 100% go again.
I took my 12 year old son to the cinema and we absolutely loved it. There was only two other people in the whole cinema! It’s a pity she isn’t coming to Perth when she comes to Australia in February. So this is the next best thing!

Also, she had a cold during this whole performance. Her execution of these songs on the Era's Tour is phenomenal.

She gets made fun of a lot for her dancing, but it's something she's not naturally good at and she's aware of it to the point that she's taken ballet and dance classes for years to get better. The whole shake it off video is her claiming/owing her “bad” dancing. ❤ she also stays in her lane which is another thing she’s good at wheaten it’s her range or her dance moves.
The TV show Killing Eve wanted to use a slow version of Look What You Made Me do in their show before Taylor was permitted to rerecord it so her brother and Jack Antonoff (a producer, musician and friend of hers) "formed" the band Jack Leopards & The Dolphins and did a really slow cover of it you could check out. It's interesting.

I have went to an incredible amount of concerts and went to my first Taylor concert last summer. Hands down the VERY BEST concert I ever saw! I'm hooked!
Taylor will be the first person to tell you she’s not a dancer. She hired Tyce D’Orio for this tour and she worked her ass off to get the choreo and nail it. She’s made two videos making fun of herself while also giving the critics a big FU and that she’s going to take something they see as a negative and turn a profit on it. This is yet another one of the reasons why Swifties are Swifties. She embraces who she is and doesn’t let anyone tell her who she can or can’t be. I agree with others, go spend your $19.89 and see the Eras tour film. It’s 2 hours and 48 minutes of Taylor going hard. She sings live the whole show and has her entire career.
Honestly dude, I think she has some serious vocals, I just think that the theatricality to these are so good because these songs are simpler vocally. We just need to get you on one of those songs, I think you'd be surprised.

As a big fan of Killing Eve, they wanted to use LWYMMD for an episode but she wasn’t happy for the og version (then owned by 🛴) to be used, so she orchestrated a “band” with her brother, Austin, and Jack Antonoff to cover it. The “band” is called Jack Leopards and the Dolphin Club. The band image is a photo of her brother as a kid lol. This is literally the only song they have on streaming. Shes such a boss.
She gave all the druck drivers a $200,000 bonus for helping with that set up in the most recent concert. This young Queen shows respect to all who contribute, leaving no one out from top to bottom. ❤ I'm a brand new fan. I agree with you. I love her videos and live performances. That's why I believe she will be offered a reality show with Kelsey. It's my early prediction.

For purely vocals, you need to start with Don’t Blame Me (belt it out song) and since you enjoy her lower register, definitely check out Champagne Problems, Cowboy Like Me, Evermore, Cardigan, Tolerate It. Some of my personal favorite songs that show off her vocals are All Too Well (10 Min Version), Illicit Affairs, and Nothing New (ft Phoebe Bridgers)

It’s so funny to hear you call Tay a dancer. She got a lot of criticism about her dancing until Reputation came out. Suddenly she had moves and she was performing with backup dancers in her videos and on tour. The reinvention she pulled off when she entered her Rep era was fire. 🔥🤩🧡
You’re getting there. I agree with everyone that you need to watch “I Did Something Bad” or “Don’t Blame Me” if you want to be impressed by her vocal strength. I am impressed by her ability to be strong or smooth and use different tones to tell a story. There are a lot of crazy power singers who can’t do that.

For me the rep tour she defo had problems finding her breath on some of the songs. She improved that so so much.

Yes, Taylor is first and foremost a songwriter, she didn’t build her career on her vocals (although she’s worked hard on that over the years and had come a long way since she started).

I did something bad from the reputation tour is a major showy performance. I love that one. Definitely like @madikate97 said, you gotta check out Don't Blame Me from the rep tour as well. It's excellent. and also the "Blank Space (Live from 1989 Tour) [With Loop in Sydney]" performance during which she showcases her belt really creatively. It's a satirical song, but the performance just takes on a life of its own.

If you want a bit of a laugh, Taylor was made to give writing credits to a band which had a very tongue in cheek song, (in the UK- late 80's or early 90's), because the chorus had been interpolated I think from a band called Right said Fred, with the song called "I'm too sexy". Probably why I don't like this song!
I think there are so many songs that are on her albums, that are better than the singles. I like the bada*s heavy production songs like "Ready for it", "I did something bad", "Endgame", etc on this album. But my favourite songs from this are, "So it goes...", "Dancing with our hands tied", and a song called "Dress". The last one is quite risqué but it's such a great song- the flow, the different registers, the content...I love it. Your videos are FUN and educational and I love hearing you try to work out the melodies, runs etc, as you have a smooth voice. Thank you for sharing 🤗
