I have figured out that all of the EAS Music Videos have been mashed up like that. Ready for It weirdly goes between the MV and Rep Tour Live. Not a fan of the video editing approach personally. The Swift Leaks channel is better. It mixes in audience footage so isn’t quite as epic as the actual Rep Tour Netflix official video, but it is better than anyone else has.
@@bennelizarher mic is always hot on the Eras tour. Her backup dancers sound a lot like her so you will hear background vocals that you think might be hers, but are not. If she does any taped audio it's always background or layering lyrics. She is always singing live.

It's like a thing with her, presumably because for so much of her earlier career the whole "Taylor Swift can't sing" thing was loud and rampant. So she'll use tools but not that one.
It’s a mashup of her Reputation concert and AMA award show. You can watch the one of the concert only or the AMA, and you will see how on point both performances are. I prefer when she performs in her own concerts the energy is different. The award shows….. you know
I actually think the AMAs one was her best performance of it. She had mastered what she already had been doing on tour and nobody expected that performance from her except for those of us who saw her on tour.

Did she do the full song or just the bridge? the only reason I ask is because for my money I would rather watch the long pond version of illicit affairs. But it was still cool to see the intense bridge at the Minneapolis show. Lmk what you think

this is why we love Taylor- she's been an amazing songwriter from jump, and we've watched her develop her vocal and her live performances so much over the years while also just getting to eat album after album. being a swifty is the most fun thing ever tbh

With all the fire songs from Reputation that is why Swifties are twisted waiting for the Taylor’s Version of it because we know we will be getting vault tracks that are going to blow our minds. Don’t get me wrong, other vault tracks on other albums have been great, but Rep as a whole is something different and we will not be ready for whatever she serves up.
A great way to tell are the note changes in the live versions, her breath changes, and how some songs are extended live, so she proves then and there that there is no backing track. She ALWAYS has her mic on She may get more nervous singing live for award shows as opposed to the free feeling of concerts, but her mic is always on People have been criticizing her for her singing abilities her whole career, but no one can say she lip syncs.
I’ve been to hundreds of concerts. The REP TOUR was nowhere near the other concerts I have seen. Every person danced, knew the songs. Honestly she makes you feel part of the show.
You do love those high notes from her. She can belt it out. I can see why she doesn’t do it often on her tours because she does 3-4 nights in a row. Her vocals would be shot. Woke up, saw this. I did something bad. Nice. What a slay. I see people requesting illicit affairs live from Eras Tour. FYI it is a highlight but it’s only the bridge. If you want to do the song, it would be best to do the Long Pond Studio version including the intro where she discusses writing the song. Then, the Eras Illicit affairs bridge on the Eras Tour will make more sense. Loving your journey.
She opened the 2018 AMA awards with this; she needed to revise the choreography for the smaller stage a bit, but it really works. Wonder how the next person felt? EAS is avoiding copyright issues by interweaving the two performances; at the AMA's she pulled out Karyn, her huge inflatable snake! It comes out a bit later in the tour setlist. Another good vocal to check out is from a performance she did in Nashville at the Blue Bird Cafe called Better Man. It’s a song she wrote that she ended up giving to the country band Little Big Town but she does have her own version as well.

I like this performance, but not this video version. It's confusing because it's editing together different performances of it, with different set designs. I support using the edits to get over copyright issues, but not when they're so drastically different.
It's interesting that not a lot of people know that Miss Swift runs on a treadmill while she runs through her catalog.... This helps her prepare for the dancing part of her performance. That way she has more breath control. Just saying.
