    You are the chosen One, my brother. I'm always learning something from you videos, I use your principals at the nursing home I work at, I'm do housekeeping, but I give back buy cutting residents hair who haven't had a cut in a long long time, no charge of course.     Had a great looking fade I gave myself after watching your vids. Told wife to clean up my neck with closed taper. She ran that sucker all the way up the back of my head. Had to go back and try to blend it

    Thank you for uploading, just finished barber school but you probably taught me better than my instructors all year. I like how you explain why you do thing. (like going down with the shaver because it’s with the grain and thus cuts less hair). Great teaching!

    I'm not a barber, however, I am a regular guy that is sick of paying $25 + tip for every haircut. Hopefully one day I'll feel confident enough to fade my own hair (and knock out cuts for family & friends). Thanks for the quality videos! You're a great barber & teacher

    But if you're using the Andis guard system there is no 1.5 guard , very nice video very helpful

    Such good information and your amazing at explaining it. I have been to 2 schools and doing hair for quite a while but I will definitely be able to roll quicker on the fades and clipper work.

    Great explanation. I'm not going to a barber at least I don't think but I cut myself and have trouble with the transition between skin and the one guard so this helps. Il try and get this right.

    After blending the open taper to closed taper, you just wrote the 1.5 closed. Is that when you would do it or did you unintentionally skip that in the lesson?

      From the #2 guideline, close it and flick from your guideline, then put it in the middle of the lever range and flick again then open the two and flick upwards. Same process with the #3 and #4.

    I have a really good question! What if your client usually gets a high taper but this time he wants to switch it up and do a mid fade how would you transform the tapered shape into a mid fade shape???

      A high taper is pretty much half of a midfade lmaoo just start the fade how you’d normally start it and it’ll all flow from there

    Laying the flat top comb, flat on the head create a #1.5 close. Would that be with an OPEN lever or a CLOSE lever?
